Dunno how you measure battery life but here are my settings
Lasts me 2-3 days depending on how much I use the phone.
Overall I get 3-4 hours screen time mostly on auto brightness. Using venom viper rom and redux kernel

I'm Using Project X with Redux 0.7.
Just Using SmartAssV2 with 245-1024Mhz (Both During Screen off and on) Battery life is almost 20+ Hours with Normal usage(3G, Youtube, Call, msg)
Earlier, I had Different LionheartX for Screen off with (122-245Mhz) But its not good for my settings. so, i'm using smartassv2.
Choose the right governer to have the Good Battery life. Hope below thread will give you some info about kernel Governers. Just define the appropriate Governer based on your Usage.

you can also install, battery battery stats app to know whether you have any wakelock!

There are different settings, Ondemand, Performance, etc. What should it be set to to get best performance and does the Set to Boot box be check marked off?
You mean XOOM overclock, right?
interactive is more responsive and use a Tad more resources than ondemand. For the XOOM being dual core interactive is fine. On demand requires a signal to increase speed whereas interactive just does it. I wouldn't set at boot until you know your settings are perfect. Set at boot sets the speed at boot rather than having to go in and raise or adjust speeds.
1.5 ghz and interactive work wonders for me.
Lol I'm probably the only one but I love performance/start on boot. My batt still lasts days and I never have to worry about touching a thing.

U leave it in performance at all times and u still have battery life for days? That's amazing.

So i just rooted my 4X the other day and just downloaded a few apps that required root and Ive noticed that my battery would drain alot faster!
My battery would decline about -%5 every 10 minutes. It used to only drop 3% every 10 minutes!
So if anyone has the same issue or knows any tips please help ):
Maybe under clock cpu
My phone set to 850mhz. Still good for daily usage.
Im not sure about battery life
But i think feel better battery life

I'm not hardcore gamer
Game HD, only Sonic 4 Ep 1 was try
No Lag at all
What do you recommend me for good battery results. The performance shouldn't be bad. Or do you recommend me a another cpu app?

I use JuiceDefender. Keeps my battery going for a whole day with moderate to heavy usage.

In Rafael.baugis kernel frequency 156 is kind bugged - it causes phone restart.
In my opinion smartass + noop : 832-312
In that options 8 hours of listening music and my phone from 100% go to 85%
Hi...m using arhd rom 10.3 ...on my htc one...m very satisfied with rom but everytime i wanted to flash coustom kernel ....it do not install....stock kernel is using a lots of battery.....is there any kernel tht is available which works....sply to battery life....thanks in advance
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
There aren't any kernels that work with 4.2.2 based ROMs as far as I am aware. You'd have to go back to 4.1.2 if you want to flash a custom kernel.

How heavy are we talking? Just turn Power Saver on, you'll save battery by not heating up as much, and heat also reduces the power of your battery so double dip gain.
I'd say invest in a battery case or pack if your phone can't last you a day.

Well i use fone sixteen hours a day with always on data or wifi...power saving is on...except heptic feedback...as m very use to of haptic feedback.....slow chargering is also a big issue....it drains at the rate of 10% per 25 minutes.....

My o2x battery shows very high volates and battery goes empty in 7-8 hours.
how to fix it
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
I think the voltage level is wrong. Programmers made a misstake It should show you 3675 mV or 3675000 microV or 3,765 V.
If your battery is about 2 years old then that is normal that your battery goes to empty after 7-8 hours of regulare usage

One small correction....you will find the 3675000 with KK125 ALSO...as @pengus77 said, it is the way the battery is read....in ICS it is 3675mV and the CM 10 and CM 10.1 reports it as 367000....so nothing wrong...just check if you have apps draining(Better BatteryStats app from xda forum) or maybe finally the battery is bad if it is too old.
