I just installed the new OTA version of ICS. The email widget has a dark theme, while the Gmail widget has a light background. On my Xoom running Team EOS JB, the email widget matches the Gmail widget.... both have a light background. I've tried dropping the Email.apk file from the Xoom into the system/apps folder on my Bionic, with no luck. The apk won't install with any of the file manager programs I've tried, either.
anybody have a solution?

I'm currently using Beautiful Widget and Pure Calendar Widget, both have the option to change skin but the apps just stuck at the loading popup saying it's loading skins from the internet. And the beautiful widget cannot also download the forecast animation it just hangs at 0/100 anyone know the reason why?
My phone is currently running on JM1 (flashed by Odin) and every other features running fine.

Hi guys!
So I got sick of the Handcent SMS icon (that blue thing) since it kinda sticks out from the sleekness of my TouchWiz dock's apps..So I decided to mod the res files and replace the icons with the icon of Samsung's original messaging app. I also changed out one of the notification icons provided by handcent with the notification icon of the default messaging app as well...
I did all of this using APK manager following the instructions of the WidgetLocker mod guide. I zipped and signed the apk with no problems but for some reason it just won't install from the phone or using APK manager.
I did everything exactly the way I did when I modded WidgetLocker..so I have no idea why Handcent is being stubborn at install now...
Any ideas? Anyone ever attempt this?
Hello,
I have installed the Agenda Calendar Widget and have appended my Google calendar to the widget. I did some research and one of the suggestions was to login to Gmail and change the colour of my calendar there which I did. However, it does not sync up with the Agenda Calendar.
I use a black background and the colour that my widget uses for my gmail calendar is a dark navy blue which is hard to read. Is there a workaround for this issue or should I direct my query to the developer?
Thanks in advance.
Google: try a different color on google.com; preferably a primary color.
Exchange: remove and recreate the account until the right color shows (!), or use Improved Email (market)

Click to collapse
Thanks! That worked. I guess it takes sometime to sync the calendar colour.
I loved the ICS calendar (agenda) and photo gallery widgets from the previous builds, how can I get them for the official ICS? Thanks!
Also, any way to use S planner widget on Nova launcher?
It seems this update is still incompatible with many icons/widgets ATM. I have many icons missing using Go Launcher EX and it suffers from a lot of lag over GB.
I guess only time will be the cure for now.
Update: I pulled gallery apk from cm9 and put it in system/app..it works! The widget is there!
Unfortunately, calendar, doesn't work...I tried moving calender and calenderprovider apk's from cm9 over but it won't show up after reboot, and won't install (says existing app with conflicting certificate exists?). Any advice?
Along these same lines...can I replace MMS.apk from CM9 over the stock ICS one? I much prefer the look. Also the dialer? Will this be safe?
Also, in regards to the calendar..is S planner conflicting? Can I just backup/delete s planner and then install CM9 calendar apk?
I tried the the Gmail APK's from Team Black Out, both Forced Closed on me when you try and launch them. Is there a black theme Gmail.apk for 4.4 out there? Thanks in advance
