How to delete CM9?

I'm using Optimus X2 on CM9 now and I want to revert back to stock.
Problems I faced are unable to use front camera, camcorder and the camera freezing after a few uses and I have to restart the phone.
The build is great, but I just NEED the camcorder and front camera function. Call me stupid for not reading before upgrading (got my bro to upgrade for me on impulse) and now we can't revert to stock because the phone is not connecting to computer at all.
The phone can be connected by USB as a Portable Media drive but cannot be detected when drivers are used.
This is driving me to wits end ): Even my brother couldn't get it to go back to stock after trying for an hour.. I just want to go back to Gingerbread 2.3.4 (came with the phone)
I need help guys. Desperate.

Oh to add on, any solution that requires me to connect to the computer now doesn't work at all. Because the phone cannot be detected by drivers. Gah.
It's not that CM9 isn't good. I just really need the camcorder function.

You have clockwork mod installed I assume? (Not sure if you can even install cm9 without it but thought I'd check )
Just go to the development section and find a stock ROM, and flash it using CM7. If your phone isn't detected in storage mode then transfer it over Wifi, software data cable is good for FTP, Airdroid has a pretty GUI and super easy to use.

Is there any way I can return the phone to baseband instead?

I have CWM installed. How do I flash it using CM7? Omg I'm a total noob here. :/

if you want to go completely to stock, you can use NV flash.
it contains stock FROYO Rom and recovery, you can flash a gingerbread ROM afterwards.

You can download CM7 from your phone and flash it directly! With wipes of course

ehm...just download the rom directly on your phone and then flash it via recovery!

nope it's okay, if you don't mind use smartflash but you will wipe all data back to normal again

[Q] Lg optimus 2x usb doesnt work

Hi, since ive installed nova rc 20-41, the usb connection doesn't work. It recognizes nothing but it charge. I updated to the latest version nova hd rc 24-50 and it still doesnt work. What do i have to do to repair the usb?

seeing that the phone charges means your usb-port isn't broken.
what type of usb connection did you set? ums/mtp/ptp?

I set all of them and nothin happens. It is a problem of kernel or base band?
I live in france.

Welcome in my world. I have the usb connection not working from 6 months ago.

Do you us Windows XP? You need to turn off usb debug in Windows XP to let it work

I have the same issue using MIUI. I am currently looking for ways to enable it again but to no avail as yet.
Alternatively MIUI has an inbuilt WIFI file transfer app, or there are plenty on the market you can choose from but obviously the transfer speeds are not as quick (i.e. 'software data cable' is a free, easy and safe WIFI file transfer application).

Have you turned off Debug Mode on your mobile phone? (USB Debugging)
Try to do that. You can find it in Developer Options.

I had these issue b4. Using temasek rom thou.
Installed these LGUniteMobileDriver.. and solved

Django 1.3 rc2 rom usb internet sharing problem

i use this django 1.3 rc2 rom with kernel 1.8 and i can use all features without problem. but i can't share 3g internet through usb on my phone and i can use only wifi hotspot connection. is there a solution for this. i have already lg pc suit connection problems and i have all my drivers on my pc. when i use stock rom (2.3) i have not any problem that i exper now.

First the ROM configuration is not the latest.try the new one and see.secondly, try another kernel and check
try this and see...if not can try to check other things

yes i noticed but i have connected ususlly 3g by my phone on my pc. its special problem i think. and i can not see any problem but this. i didnt try 1.5 rc3 but i will

i didnt try for rc2 by trying any kernels for fixing the usb connected internet problem. but ill anyone has any experience?

yes i tried some kernels included guestkernel 1.3.1 but i couldnt solve the usb tethered internet problem on different pc s . any experience? i have just one problem with django 1.3 rc2 ;

i solve the usb problem i install the cdc driver then it works clearly.
i have used sygic for GPS but i hate this. is there anyone suggest a good alternative

It seems i can't connect my phone to QtADB using my usb cable. But it's ok with adb wireless.

[Q] USB Mass Storage problem on FireKernel

Hi. I have a problem with FireKernel. After installing it, I can't connect my Ace to USB Mass storage. The circle just keeps spinning over and over. I'm using CM 7.2 lastest official nightly from get.cm. How can I solve this problem?

brother you can try crossbreeder cos its sometimes make usb storage works remember i said it may work cos it worked me only on one rom as i remember

Tried that, didn't work out. I even tried to install a older version of kernel. No luck at all.

buddy you can try disabling usb debugging which is enabled by default first disable it and then try to connect through pc then again try again by enabling it again

then i would suggest one thing please switch to another kernel like nims11 or space kernel they are less buggy than fire kernel and you can also go for battery extender kernel also
i met a friend of mine few days back on xda who said that his touch screen was not responding properly after flashing fire kernel and worked fine after flashing other ones
so we can conclude by your and his problem that maybe fire kernel gives good performancs it is sometimes annoying{ no offence to any developer} although i didint see and bug when i tried it so please switch to other kernel
try nims kernel first it is also great although battery icon disappears sometimes but that not a deal breaker

I'll try that one up. I think i'm gonna go for SpaceKernel. I can't install Nims kernel or battery extender because I'm using CyanogenMod 7.2. Those kernels are for stock roms. Thanks.

I solved the problem. I've just installed the CM 7.2 nightly from Thiblizz and it worked. Thanks for all your help.
