it could happen with any battery if quality is not good or diminished. I think so at least Check your battery, does it look out of shape?
You could try a friends battery, or an alternative rom could also be another issue.
You can also experiment with the power saving features to turn them of.
Uninstall if any, power saving apps/ screenfilter apps.

Doesn't the warranty on batteries last for 12 months ? Why not get Samsung to replace it if it fails withing that time frame.
Then again, For the price of one, Is it worth all the aggro of sending it to Samsung, Waiting, Waiting some more, Then having it sent back ?
They do go pretty cheap online, And the Anker 5000mah are worth considering (except the size increase)

As they're classed as consumables I believe warranty on batteries is only 6 months, but I think it would be great if we could somehow make samsung aware of how short the battery life is on these, maybe some sort of petition.

It's really a pity that the batteries just last 9-10 months. Mine seemed perfectly OK but then the note wouldn't get very far past the samsung logo, messed up the /system and /data partitions. Just had a replacement genuine battery, but will be very pissed if in october it will once again be broken. Maybe it has something to do with charging with more than 1A chargers? In my car I use a 2A charger, at home it is the 1A charger that came with the phone.

it is why they advise in manual to use original chargers only.
It could also be your not adopting battery best practices from manual. Maybe to many charge/recharge cycles?
You can also be unlucky.

Hello, has anyone ever used either of these batteries? I saw them listed on ebay, and there are many sellers for these. Unfortunately, since you can't see any product reviews on ebay, unlike on amazon, I can't tell if it's any good or not.

Yes the 4300 on ebay. It seems fine. Let's clear this up a little more. My battery on heavy use drained between 10 to 15 % an hour. With this battery it is around 5%. I hope this clears it up some more for you.

B:http://www.ebay.de/itm/J102-Externe...833?pt=DE_Handy_PDA_Akkus&hash=item35c326c1f9
Anyone had any experience with the different kinds.
IMO B is way uglier, but A has better colour

No it is going strong since 4 month's. I done earlier post I posted the link for the 4300 mAh I use. But also this gold battery 2680MAH is a really big improvement on battery life in still the same size like the original battery. I wonder why not lg Samsung and Co can but more juice in the same battery but obviously others can. I always questioning this.

That's exactly what u have. No it does not has nfc. The only battery that is bigger and has nfc is the one from mugen. But that 2680MAH has it. Well it still is able to fit in ur normal battery back so. I heard someone mention that those gold batteries are sold out. And if u buy that bigger battery make sure to follow the charging and recharging procedure. Put in ur phone let it run down to 5% then charge it for around 12 hours. Make sure u do not interrup the charging. Then after that the same always let it go down to around 5 and charge it for around 8 hours. Ur phone is gonna tell u that the battery is full like after 2 hours. That's not right. Since it goes by the standard battery. Trust me 12 hours 5% and afterwards 8 hours 5%. Makes sense since the battery is a little bigger then twice the original one.
And look at this when do u ever get after over 15 with using the phone still 62% battery life left? Never ever. Also I used it with 1500 mhz speed I use it the standard speeds no under or overclocking. Kept that in mind.

Yeah no issues. The golden and the 4300 mAh are both made with Japanese cells so it is all good. Also they have overcharging protection. I had no issues at all. It makes my phone finally usable. I went 2 days 16 hours without charging. I take that over a little bit bulk. Or 2 to 4 hours more with that golden.

Hi everyone,
I'm having a Galaxy ExhibitG and it starts to shut down constantly everytime I open too many apps or run something too heavy. And it won't let me power on the phone and even if I can the bettery status went crazy (from 90% to 0% then 20%)
One solution to this is to plug my phone in the charger constantly, but I need to take it to work and school.

People really should stop spreading that full initial charge BS seriously, it's 2013!
Unless you buying an electric power drill with a nickel cadmium or nickel metal-hydride battery, there's NO reason to top it off before using it or to charge for 8 hours! You're not prolonging the life of your battery nor are you preventing a memory effect by fully charging it.

The battery technology used in these now does NOT need special first charge procedure. Just charge it however you want, and enjoy the phone!
