Boot animation
can you post your boot log snapshot. i dont understand what u mean
you want to get back original Samsung boot animation then remove bootanimation.zip from /system/media or /data/local and reboot you will get original Samsung Boot animation
check in system/media.. if there is a bootanimation.zip delete it and check.. otherwise check if it has the right permissions.. rw-r--r--
You dont need to flash a bootanimation
Simply place a bootanimation.zip you wish in system/media and set the permissions to rw-r-r
I think you mean this....

But I don't find any tutorial that explains how to change bootanimations in stock roms.
Try here
http://www.google.com/cse?cx=partne...tf8&hl=en&q=change+boot+animation+galaxy+mini
I got the desired result on top why can't you
I delete "samsungani" file from system/bin/
I renamed "bootanimation" file from "system/bin/" to "samsungani"
I copy "bootanimation.zip" in "system/media/" , and the animation steel dont work.
you must be doing something wrong or the bootanimation is not created properly
to check if bootanimation is OK type su then samsungani in terminal if the bootanimation is played the bootanimation is OK and if not thenin boot animation something is wrong
I tried this bootanimation ( i attached it), but when I type in the terminal emulator "su and then samsungani" it playsa part of an old bootanim. ( not the stock one, the first custom one that I tried). I dont know why he do this. In media folder I have just the bootanimation arhive that I atached here.

Bootanimation for Stock ROM
Now it is possible to set custom bootamination on stock ROM too...
and it is very simple and easy!!
Things You Need
- Rooted Phone
- CWM
- Root Explorer (any)
- Basic Knowledge
How to:
1- Download bin_update.zip (download link given below) and place it in your sd card
2- (Optional. Do only if you fail) Open Root Explorer, go to /system/media and Delete all .qmg files (don't delete 'audio' and 'video' folder)
3- Now copy the bootanimation.zip file of your choice and paste it here: /system/media (remember the name of animation file must be 'bootanimation'
4- Change permission to rw-r--r--
5- Now Boot your phone in ClockWorkMod Recovery
6- Flash bin_update.zip

i got bootanimation and samsungani files from RazoDroid. Hope he doesn't mind
Troubleshooting: If you are stuck on boot logo, boot your phone in cwm recovery mode, go to advance and fix permissions.
even if that doesn't work then restore your system.
now follow steps 1,2,3 and 4.
then extract bin_update.zip
in extracted directory you will see two folder, META-INF and system.
go to system/bin copy bootanimation and samsungani
and paste it in /system/bin (replace if file already exist).
change the permissions of both file to rwxr-xr-x
and reboot. enjoy
i take no responsibility if you brick your device.
so please take nandroid backup of your phone before doing anything

as areeb jamal said, u will have to modify boot.img to change the splash screen..
there are a few guides which will tell u how to extract kernel..
but as u will be playing with the kernel, there is very good chance of bricking (or may be hard bricking) your device..
so proceed with caution

Can anyone help? How can I get the Lg logo appears when booting.I might have overlooked the issue?* I currently have the PAC one. Rome and it is very good.
You want the LG Logo when booting?
That's kernel related so you won't get it back unless you flash stock kernel
Sent from my LG-P880
you could unpack the .img and edit the picture and repack it again. Google it if you want.
or if you want the bootanimation. backup the bootanimation.zip in /system/media, flash PAC again and paste it in the same path

copy and overwrite with the downloaded one at /system/media
set permission rw-r-r

hi. i want to change my boot logo but i cant and was hard to me. any one knew easy way to change boot logo . my rom is xosp marshmallow . i am sorry my english is not good
Boot animation comes with a set of images, packed in a compressed folder with the format zip. Its name is "bootanimation.zip", located in the system directory /system/media
If you have a boot animation zip in your possession, just replace the original one located in the system folder. For safety, you may instead rename the old one.
Note: boot animations may work differently across devices and ROMs.
how can i extract logo.bin in custom rom
The bootanimation is in "ZIP" format, you can find it in System/media. Just copy it from there to your external sd and copy it to your computer if you want to edit it. Likewise, you can copy another bootanimation.zip ( the bootanimation you like ) back to the device
Just copy it to system media and change the permissions to rw-r-r ( 0644 ) and you're good to go
why you are talking about bootanimation? i want to extract logo.bin to change SONY bootlogo not change the bootanimation.
please answer to me
Why????
