[Q] CM9 SystemUI in CM10 ROM - LG Optimus Black

Sometimes I wonder whose idea it was to put that weird status bar in CM10.
It would be possible to replace it with the good old status bar of CM9?
I tried putting the SystemUI FOP on official CM10, but got FC's.
Any idea?

Well CM10 is based on JellyBean and that's the interface for 4.1 .CM9 is ICS.
I think you must modifiy the framework too...but I'm not sure.Anyway the status bar is more cooler in CM10

What is the weird thing in the status bar?

Actually, the thing is, I think very cool leave the status bar transparent, but when I does it in CM10, it gets very strange because there is no clear division between the body and the power widget of status bar.
And as there is no such clear division as in previous versions, it becomes all transparent and power widget mingles with desktop that is in the background, getting quite hard to see the icons of widget.
But it is also a matter of opinion, I think the status bar of CM7 and CM9 better organized than the CM10.
Sorry for my English!

The problem of improperly changing framework-res, is that you get bootloop. And it probably will happen...
but thanks for the tip, I'll try.

Theming 3g icons

So recently I started messing with the notification icons in an effort to upgrade my wife's fascinate to ICS but still give it (mostly) the appearance of TouchWiz.
The problem is that I can get the lockscreen pattern fine, and I set the transparency in the 3G/etc and service bar icons properly, but when I flash the theme the signal bar looks terrible and there is no 3G icon. Am I missing something?
edit: I'm theming AOKP 32 if that helps.

You're missing screenshots of your signal icons for one...otherwise did you rename every image properly before replacing the current ones?
Give me a little time and I'll get you some screens.

nope... cant be done...unless you can edit the systemui.apk...
Why don't you try a widget,I don't know if you can make the battery icon in the status bar bigger, but from my point of view I think you have to make the bar bigger as well and I don't know if that can happen

(R) Status bar

I'm sorry for making a new thread for this but i search everyhing and i have no luck...
I' looking for a white/grey status bar for a cm10 based rom and i want only the status bar not a full theme that changes everything.
I really like the stock theme but i want to change the blue status bar.
I think that there are many people who wants to change only the status bar too...
Anyone can helpe me?
Thanks in advance.
There was something floating around. MNML Status I think it was called.
Edit: Found it - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kgill7.MNMLStatusbar

[Q] Battery icon with tined status bar

Hi everybody,
I am using tinted status bar 1.8.5, and everything works fine excpet the battery icon. It just won't change the color, which remains white all the time.
I was wondering if any of you have the same problem as well, and how you get it fixed.
The version of my android is 4.4.2 stock firmware, and currently I am not using gravitybox, xblastools, etc.
Because for Tinted Status Bar 1.8.5 there is no compatible icons in your system to work with it. Simple like that.
Any Theme Modding need Root and other stuff so if your icons do not work on stock then you can't do nothing about it.

Sorry but I didn't quite get you here. I didn't used any theme modding for the battery icons, and all the others icons including signal, wifi are well tinted.

In your Stock unmodified Rom there is stock symbols in system, some of them probably are not compatible with Tinted Status Bar 1.8.5. If you check when you don't use it all is normal.
