White back from Google I/O

Des anyone know where I can find someone selling the white back form a Nexus 7 from Google IO? I think it looks much better than the brown one, and yes, I know they are not easy to find.

There's a brown back? Anyways probably may never find anyone selling only the back cover unless they cracked their screen. Best way is to just buy the white version.

Your Nexus back cover is brown not black. Put it next to something true black. The box also lists it as brown.
Haven't seen any white ones pop up on ebay recently. A few did shortly after I/O but they disappeared quickly.

Just for the record, The knife in this picture has a grey titanium handle. Clearly this phone is not titanium grey. I do also realize that the colors in this photo are severely messed up. That what you get when you take a picture with an htc rezound.

Getting the black one for the Titanium Grey. Showed my boss who has a white marble one and he'll get the matching white case.
@john, I am sure the color names are just for marketing purposes. Titanium Grey sounds so much better than say, Plain Grey or Pencil Lead Grey.

I hope they come out with an Outland color. If not I will get the black for my Titanium Grey N2. I am glad they changed the look. I hated bring asked "Oh you got an iPhone?" with the Outland on my GS3 untill they looked closely.

No offense but who cares? Way I see it. ..The company getting a free press and advertisement to create more hype. If I was the ceo of the company, I would leak it right before the launch, so the public knows to save their money towards my product.
Anyways, I like the black one too. But the white looks good too. Damn it!

Oh also, just realized that the front screen lip is black. So I guess it doesn't matter which color to go with this time. I like the darker frame of the device.

Black or White?

My upgrade is coming up and I am definitely getting the One. I do not want another Samsung because of the build quality but Idk which color to get. I heard the black one attracts fingerprints but I will most likely have a case on it. I've had black phones my entire life but I am leaning towards the silver. People who own the One, which one looks better?

The black HTC one is not available yet for Sprint so you might not get many responses (since this is a Sprint HTC One forum). You may want to ask your question though in the general HTC One board. For what its worth, I have played with a working version of the silver and a dummy of the black and I am holding out for the black one. The black one is suppose to be available in a few weeks so if you want it now, the silver is your only choice.

Silver because that's the only color HTC would hook me up with.

My previous phones have also been black, so I got the silver to change it up. If you get the silver I don't think you will regret it. I am definitely not.

I've never had a silver phone, but coming from the AT&T GS2 skyrocket the bare metal look of the silver really compliments the build quality.

I've always had black phones. But I decided to go for silver. Not regretting it.

I was going to hold out for the black, but I also knew I was going to get the HTC hard case for it. Once I saw one with the case on, I realized you can't tell if the phone is black or silver so I grabbed the silver one.

Sprint sold out of the black One so there are people that have it that can tell you there experience here. You just won't be able get one for a little bit until sprint gets them back in stock.

my brother did. i'm on x10 mini pro. in black colour

When I went to the sprint store they had both on display. I played with the black one and it was just to prone to finger prints for my liking. So I'd go with the Silver one.

Alright thanks guys. I wasn't aware of the unavailability of the black One but it looks like a lot of people like the silver one regardless. I'm going to have a case on it either way so the fingerprints on the black wouldn't matter but I've had black the whole time so I'll get silver. How is the One for the people that have it? Any problems with it yet?

The black isn't bad looking but the one i got to use a few months back like went out of its way to suck all the oil from my hands and lather itself in it. The silver one is shinier so you don't notice the oil nearly as much. Also I'm sure scratches will show up way more prominently on the black version.

Seriously, buy the OEM back Cover, Then buy a glass screen protector with the colored edges.
Read the reviews, some of the colored edge types act funny.

Painting it would be a horrible idea. You can purchase the back cover in many different colors. I would start with that. Then see if they offer the housing in black. The outside edge would still be the chrome look. Do some research on that. Last they sell the glass with black outerlay if you want to call it that. Other than that, I wouldnt know.

You could buy a new housing, sand it and prime it, paint with krylon fusion and let it cure for 7 days. It's worth the try for the housing but for the screen you would have to buy a new one.

Purchase an OEM back cover that is titanium gray.

U could buy a black housing and battery cover from China for like $20 and an oem black bezel screen protector...our ur best bet is trade someone. I currently have a half titanium half white note 2

Black. No matter what don't get white. It is a less sift touch material in the back and the white front looks cheap and shows too much contrast on the screen. My black phone is forever amazing me because the screen looks peeled to the edge. A much better experience IMHO

I actually got white but I am contemplating returning for the black. I actually like the white front because it doesn't show fingerprints and lint as much as the black one my co-worker has. At the same time, the back is much more comfortable and provides a better grip on the black version. I'm just trying to decide if it's worth the 35 dollar restocking fee or if I should just stick with white.

Not worth paying but you can yell about the phone glitching or something and get a new one.

I got a black t mobile one. It was the only option at the time. But it was the one I wanted anyway

I bought a White one from Verizon earlier today. I love the aesthetics of it.

I got white. I always had black phones. White kinda stands out. Everyone thinks its iPhone lol but not in millions of years.
