LukLuk- FREE Streaming movies app

I haven't seen anyone mention this app here yet(if I missed it forgive me). It's called LukLuk and the quality of the movies is great although the selection isn't that big it has some decient choices. I haven't seen this in the market myself but my GF says that's where she got hers from. I recently flashed Haykuros Sapphire/Magic build so that's pobably why I haven't seen it. The app can also be downloaded directly from the site www.lukluk.org. I had a few problems with force closes and a notification telling me to set up a network connection, but a quick uninstall and reinstall seemed to fix the problem. Check it out, FREE streaming movies? You can't beat that.

WOW!!!!!... this thing fricken works!!!!!! alot of damn movies.... thats it.... i dont need any other phone........ speachless!!!!!!

yeah it works great, i've had it for a couple months, every update they add more movies.

wierd, doesn't seem to be working for me. when i click on something nothing happens. on jf1.5, gloss suite theme port.
anyone else have issues such as this?

AMAZING! I am watching the Matrix right now and I can't even believe this! Android with Cupcake and applications like this oh lord...We have and are arriving!

i keep trying to logg in and it says my password or user name is wrong and when i try to make a new account it wont let me saying my g1 has already registered -__- and im trying to get my password to make sure im entering it right and it keeps saying system busy

when i try to sign up it says my g1 already signed up, but i never did and i bought my phone brand new (if that matters). Approx. how many movies do you guys get to choose from in the film section.

for me takes no more than about 10 seconds.

Open Home full feature 1.5 build

Hey guys,
Is anyone brave enough to test the full feature 1.5 build of Open Home Full? We know we can always find some brave ones here
It requires that you are running android 1.5 on your phone (aka Cupcake). This build has full supports of 1.5 widgets and also a good amount of stability and performance improvements.
We had not done a lot of testing on this build; also this build will expire in a month (5/30). If you want to test the latest and greatest, feel free to install and try this build.
*Remember safe mode is hold menu button when powering on*, if you see anything wrong, just enter safe mode and then uninstall it.
Do NOT install unless you are running android 1.5

I assume since I'm running the dudes build and it supports widgets it may work. I can always remove if necessary . This doesnt remove open home right? just a different version?

Hmm, I was impressed with the demo of OpenHome when I downloaded it a couple days ago. I'll take a look.

downloading it now. I have just flashed the holiday cupcake build so I assume it'll work with this. I'll let you know.

So far so good. I am glad to have openhome back again in 1.5
I have added all widgets, and they all work as expected. Are some of these the 1.5 "stock" widgets? I assume so because i see 2 music widgets listed, one looks like your own and the other a stock one.
I'll let you know how it goes after some proper usage. great work so far though. thankyou.
oh, p.s .. Will this be a free upgrade for those who had previosly purchased open home full ?

Works well enough. I like it.
Normally use full edition but will keep this until it is updated.
Suggestion: How about that calendar widget from Haykuro's build so those with dude's builds can use it?

It's already supported. That weather widget is working fine for me.

Hey guys i like the changes the menus are a little more intuitive now! Shame it doesn't seem to maintain your icons from older version, but weirdly kept my fonts theme etc - not sure if that qualigfies as a bug or not really
One problem i have found though is it seems to scrap folder icons the second you open bettercut again, not a huge problem but ....

I have almost 200 apps to SD so it's convenient to have my favorite "few" on the desktop. After I installed the new apk file... everything was GONE! Huge inconvenience! Then when I pull up the app menu I can watch them appear one after another like the app is doing a search for the installed apps. I also tried Picture Frame. It seems like it pulls up the Camera app, then the gallery. I selected my picture. Cropped it. Saved it. Then it went back to "select picture" again. Strange. Also... AnyCut Open Home Edition doesn't work. Definite bugs.
Other then that I love it. Thanks! Is this going to be in an update and when will it be available in Market? I purchased the full version months ago.

I don't think it has anything to do with bettercut because I don't have it installed and it still goes back to the default folder icons randomly, sometimes it comes back sometimes it doesn't.

Yea that kind of pissed me off when I realized it took all my stuff off the screen and the dock. It works fine besides these few issues though.

Hey quick question, is there any way to add a 3d effect on swipe? Like when you swipe to left or right screen, screen shrinks and rotates as a 3d cube. That will be awesome dude, you can name the app something different and charge for it again because I know damn well people will pay for it. I definitely will.

The reguar widget works for me, but not his. It isn't even displayed as an option.

But it's not 'open' in any sense...

Really dissapointed in losing all of my icons on all 7 screens. Glad that "real" widget support was actually added in. Almost went back to dxTop because of this. Please make the full version available on the market as an upgrade to the old full version. It would be nice to make it detect the old settigns and import them in.

Opps. You have to wipe now.
Just kidding. You deal with it the same way as if you would set the defaults as any other app. Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Home>Clear defaults.

Been using this app for a few days now.I havent ran into any problems with it pretty smooth.Only down side was losing my icons.But no biggie.

What is the Best Screenshot App?

Ive tried a couple including one called screenshot with no luck. I cant seem to find one that actually works. I would like to update my signiture with my screens. I've also asked in a few threads about it with no luck

shootme/picme works. You can find it free on market if you use 320 x480.

Agreed. I like Shootme. If you don't haver 320x480 market I think cp0020 posted the apk in his tips/tricks thread. Don't worry it's not a ware, as reddog stated, it's freeware

Thanks i found it. Funny thing is, I checked this thread to see if someone mentioned a screenshot app and didnt see one. My apologizes.

ok, I just started up the app and it wants to use a shake procedure. and tells me, failed make sure i have root access. I changed it to movie mode and it took 500 pics in like 10 sec. lol Anyway to take a screenshot manually?
EDIT: i got it to say active shake phone to take a screen but that obviously dont work. What am i doing wrong?

I use that exclusively for all of my screenshots.

Occasionally. I believe it's androids built in memory manager purging the process as other items get loaded ontop of it. PicMe is a heavy application. It does a great job though when it's up.

Hey guys, I got PicMe from the Market but I'm having some trouble installing it.
It says:
"Failed starting server. Please check that you have ***ROOT*** access on your device... and enabled access to the lower level graphics."

i put this on my motodroid and was told it would work on the eris ,,
dont quote me on it do a back up just incase , i havent gotten the widgets for it i know it shows a clock in the picture but when i click on widgets it aint there just says galaxy widgets , if the apk dont work scroll down the page there is another version to try
again i havent tried this on the eris just figured u guys might wanna check it out its pretty cool if it dont work maybe someone can port it

scroll to the middle of the page try the other one someonee else had that issue but the other one worked if not sorry i tried lol

its cool i didnt think u was bein a **** lol some will like it some not , the live wallpapers are around also and some other things from the phone

Works great we just need to get the Samsung widgets ported over.

It works fine, just needs to be made for smaller screens, i have icons getting cut off on the menu and the text under the icon gets in the way, but it works none the less,
BTW if you try to download the .apk on ur phone from the site. it doesnt seem to download all the way, thats why the people getting the error is gettting it

I should be able to fix the overlap issues in the menu but there is no point until widgets are available.
**Edit: I found some of the Galaxy widgets, I will try to port them when I get a chance. I get a "app not installed" error when I try to install them. If anyone knows how to get these to work or wants to try just let me know and I'll post them here.

I'm running LauncherPro and if you enable the 3D launcher in the settings, IT WORKS!!!!!!!!! IT IS SO FRICKING COOL
Go to Preferences> Andvaced Settings> Use 3D Launcher

Listy - I havent tried it, but im sure if you push the apps/widgets using adb you should be able to get them in your phone.

Wanted to know if anyone knows wher i can get stock gallery app. Any inf on how to install it would be helpful too

not sure about the stock app, but i moved to "quick pic" to support my massive photo gallerys. it loads incredibly fast.

I second this, QuickPic is much, much faster than the 3D Gallery app. I don't know that making wallpapers "look right" is really on the Gallery app (stock or not), but on the size and resolution of the wallpaper.

I would get Quick Pic for a gallery replacement, it is much more functional than any stock version and blistering fast as well. Then get multi picture live wallpaper to set your wallpaper with. After install you will have to choose wallpaper -> live wallpapers -> multi picture live wallpaper to set your wallpapers to display correctly on your tablet.
The best combo I have found for this tablet and my CM7 Nook Color. MPLW is the only I way I have found to get wallpapers to display correctly on any tablet that I have ever dealt with. There is a thread about this particular problem around here somewhere, search is your friend. Do a search for multi picture live wallpaper in the Gtab forums and you will find it. I think it (the thread) even goes as far as telling you the way to modify existing images or create your own to display correctly when chosen as wallpaper when you choose them by using the traditional method.

Flick Ur Pic.
Get it from the market and use it in place of the Multi Picture Live Wallpaper I mentioned earlier. It scales the images perfectly on my Gtab. You use it just like MPLW in that you use it from the live wallpaper chooser. You can set up to nine images to rotate, or use only one and make it static with no transition effects. This one even has it's own image browser so there is no need to even have a gallery installed to use it as far as I can tell. I do still recommend Quick Pic as a gallery app for everyday image duties such as browsing and such.
Works great for me and this is the one that I will be sticking with from here on out unless it starts causing problems in other areas. LOL
