You only need to decompile systemui for that... here's link to the guide which explains everything in that matter... if you fail using this one, I have bad news for you... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1361715

Read the thread I gave you, when I didn't know anything I wasn't asking others to do things for me, I was reading and learning how to do it myself. Now, do some reading and help yourself out!
I agree

You probably messed something up in status_bar.xml , do it again carefully on clean systemui. Just follow that guide

Hello,
well i hope you will be able to help me.
I modified 2 xml files from touchwiz30launcher.
Default_homescreen & styles.
default for changing dafault icons and styles for transparent background.
But i have a TW FC once the update has been applied using CWM.
Anybody know why ? i use same compiling method as for framework-res but...
I don't know where the error comes from.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance.
I think you might have to decompile it with dependencies. Try option 10 in APK Manager, and then drag twframework.apk in the command prompt and press enter.

Transparency requires both png and xml edits. There are plenty of guides on the interewebs.

You need to install the framework-res.apk and tw-framework.apk both of them in the framework folder. Google how to install framework for apktool.

Tell me the steps you're doing
It's because your using an old version of apktool. Don't use the automated programs they suck. Do it manually with aptool.jar just Google how to use it properly. Should have no issues. And make sure java is installed properly.

Not necessarily. I use an outdated apktool only has api up to 4.3 works fine. You can clearly see that its not getting framework info from the screenshot he took

Yep. You have to install both frameworks. Framework-res.apk AND tw-framework.apk. They also have to be installed. See this website
http://bit.ly/LLKRja look for a YouTube video or a guide and THEN try decompiling
Edit: the second hit that comes up there will help you a lot
