Problems with WRE 1.4

Hey XDA,
Ive been using WRE 1.4 for the last few days and i need help with one issue. I have had a battery charge bug were it wont charge properly. Is this issue fixed in 1.5 or still retained in that version
I am new to xda so i cannot post in development

Hi, first welcome
And I have had the exact same issue. I clean wiped everything and I still got the same problem.
I have flashed 1.5 today so I will let you know. It hasn't happened yet so I am hopeful.
Did it start to charge after a restart? That's what mine did.
cb.de did say there was a lot of permission conflicts in the thread so it could have been down to that. We will see.

There are some more problems.
First the camera did Not work with Skype. The Person in the other side See only a green screen.
And i have the Same Problem with battery and after a restart You can charge your battery

I am not having the same issues with v1.5, are you?
Or is this using 1.5?

no with v1.4. i want to try v1.5 later.

Pls help, i got big problem

I have bricked my SXL . I was trying to install the htc one x custom ROM to my SXL, after then installation is done, it rebooted. And now phone only vibrates 4 or 5 times and nothing else, no led, nothing. Vibrating all the time, then taking battery out. Please, anyone can help me? I dont have varanty. And sry for my bad ENG.
MY SXL is S-off, hboot- unlocked, and rooted.

mobo to change.

Can the computer see it? Try ruu then if it is a no go change motherboard.

PC can't see it... i found in google one thing, Riff Jtag, it possible to unbrick with this thing ??

I don't have tried it because I have never bricked my phone

New battery won't charge over 88%

Since the oringinal sxl battery (1600mAh) is not enough for me and seems to die out on me quite quick, I've decided to buy a battery that is almost double the capacity (2400mAh)
The problem is that I've charged it for 15hours and indicates that it has done 88%.....and it won't seem to go anymore than than .......please if anyone encountered the same problem n managed to fix it let me know.

Bootloader unlocked
S-off
Rooted
Currently running - fshami sense 4 v3.0

It is the same for my device. I bought a new original battery beacouse the original one was broken. Now the new one want To charge over 80%. How Can i solve this?

if it has another voltage than stock, look at the battery, then you cant do anything

I am working on LTX Kernel to provide support for all Custom Batteries out there, but things are not going to well right now, but this can be fixed

Have u tried completely draining the battery first?

Recalibrating the battery should also be an option, as i don't have any of those batteries i can't really test things, as from i've seen right now, the drivers should adapt to the custom voltages, but i can't tell for sure, and calibrating is also not really good if the device can't carge to 100%, but you can always try

Do you wipe battery ?

Yes, i did it. I charged it for 10 hours, But nothing has happened.

[Q] my smartphone shuts off by it self

While I'm trying to take a call (when someone calls me) during the first ringtone immediately my smartphone shuts off, also when I try to call someone it immediately shuts.
My smartphone runs with official version
Phone name: HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio X315e
Android Version: 4.0.3
HTC Sense Version: 3.6
Software Number: 2.31.401.2
I hope that somebody will help me!

Hey, how do you mean it "shuts". Does the Display turn dark or the phone completly shuts down / crashes?

If it is fully stock then sent it in, use your warranty

I completly aggree with anders3408,
use your warranty no matter what they say. The condition is that your phone is fully stock so that you've warranty! Explain them the error and if they say it's fixed but it isn't do it again. I don't know where you come from but in germany after the 3rd or 4rd time you can make a change and you'll get the money back. (Not the full money of the phone but the actual worth of the phone).

[Q] help me can not charging battery htc sensation xl

My phone htc sensation xl can not charging battery be full. 8 hours it only charging battery been 20% and it so hot and the system on phone htc sensation xl the report can not charging battery continue because charging battery be full and ask unplug charger but it there only 20% battery ). I dont what it understand speak. All you may help me ? Troubleshooting on phone HTC Sensation XL.
