Nice... can't wait to see what the major players' cases look like and if we'll get high quality cases on an Android tablet like what the iPad gets.

Which one of the two would better off? I still haven't decided which one I should get.

I used to have a tf01 and it was nice, but can't compete with the nexus 7. Nexus all the way!

I have both, n7 all the way

IPad 3! Then a Nexus 7!

I have and like both. Feature wise, it's like comparing apples and oranges. You have to decide which features are more important to you.

Thanks for the feedback.
How about if in would like to write essays in it? For example.

Depends on screen size really and whether you want the dock. They are two really different tablets. You go to the tf101 forum and they will all say to go with that one.
If i was in that position I'd try to find a way to get the tf301. Best of both worlds then if you like the 10 inch size.
I'd keep away from tegra2
Gaming on that CPU is just a pure pain and its really old tech now ....
I have gtab 10.1 which I'm selling because its just to slow .... CPU on my galaxy nexus can handle more ....
Jellybean doesn't help either ....

I had a TF101 for a year and it was a good device but it was showing the signs of its age. I sold mine yesterday and picked up a Nexus 7 today and it kicks the crap out of the TF101. The Nexus is way easier to hold for extended periods of time and it's so much smaller. Not to mention the process for unlocking/rooting it so so much simpler, especially thanks to wug_fresh!

Getting the tf101. Thanks for your replies tho.
I'm sending a N7 for a tf101.
Hope that guy enjoys his tablet

Yep, just like others, I sold my TF101 for the N7 and wouldn't ever look back. I love this powerful little seven inch tablet!

I also got rid of my TF101 for the N7. If your interested in the 10" form factor, I would consider the tf300. It can be had for relatively cheap and will be a much better device than the tf101.
Birthday gift from my girl. At first they said anywhere from November until Jan...my girl received San email that I should have it by the 11th. Can't wait!!!

Awesome.... you'll have to write a review and post some pics.... if they come out with the military version for the Nexus 7 I might have to buy one.

Full review coming tomorrow. just checked my mailbox and it was delivered today. Definitely adds some bulk. The grip is slippery other than that i really like this case but I may return it due to it being too slippery. Definitely feels like it adds a nice level of protection.

Well, if it's slippery, then won't it not break if you drop it because of the case in the first place...
do you mean this case?
http://www.gumdropcases.com/google-nexus-7-droptech.html
What do you mean slippery. Like rubber or like a wax???
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Slippery as almost wax like yes. That is the case. Its definitely seems like great protection but I'm not crazy about the texture of the case.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
oh I am so excited to hear what you have to say about this case!!
Any update on the review of this case? Thanks
Sorry guys...been swamped at work. I will get to it this week for sure.

That slippery feeling is the rubber expelling or 'sweating' out the oil used in the manufacturing process to create it. It will eventually all dissappear. I would suggest soaking it in a tub of warm soapy water to try and remove the feeling.

Found 2 small scratches today so I must get the clearest possible screen protector, no zagg with orange peal. Any stores sell a good one that I can just walk in and get today in the USA?
Thanks

The extreme guards ship quite quickly and are really great quality. If you haven't already purchased one try them out. The thread is somewhere on this page

I'd order a cheapy off amazon and just get it on there... then search around.
I love the SGP Matte protectors. $20 but they're luxury.

Where are all the samsung accessories. Kinda curious to know if they are coming
Sent from my EK-GC100 using xda app-developers app
They have presented them now on CES. If I remember correct.
Some of them seems rather nice. I think Engadget have an article but can't check out a link atm.

I found this: http://9to5google.com/2013/01/09/samsung-shows-of-2013-galaxy-camera-accessories-at-ces/
It looks like they just trotted out their same old accessory wall. No info in the article on when/if they'll actually appear in the wild.
After 6 weeks finally got a case for my SGC. The brand is Verus which comes with a screen protector.

Anyone have any case recommendations for our atrix HD ? I've been trying to find something like the thing that flips over the screen on the s4 and note 2 the stock screen cover thing

I have a cover for my infuse. It won't save my phone if it drops but its not bulky, its durable, and looks cool. I'll post a link and a picture later or tomorrow

I have the commuter and defender otter box and honestly love them both. The defender is a little overkill and the commuter is nice and easy to get into your pocket. Pain in the ass to get on the phone however.
