I remember someone posted saying 64GB works fine with our Note..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330784
Is that Rom dependent?
In my ics Touchwiz, it worked if my phone reformats it to FAT32.

Fat 32 or ntfs should work I believe.

have you tried formatting your sdcard? make a backup first, though.
signature under repair
Flashback to original 2.1 firmware and then Root, Recoveries etc.

Hallo All!
Im new to this forum
2 days ago I flashed my note(ICS Official 4.0.4) to 4.1.2 JB official XXLSZ, but I realize that my internal memory(used to be 16gb) decreased to only 7gb
what happen to this??
can I get back my 16gb memory??
THANKS
What are you looking at when you get this figure ?
Under storage you will see several things, go to USB Storage and look at the total space, it should be 11.07GB.
If it isnt, and it is, say, 7GB, theres a chance the phone has been repartitioned (due to brickbug)
Was your phone new when you got it ? have you re partitioned it yourself ?
And if phone was not hard reset, then all apps are still there (in internal memory),so you can't have 11GB (the rest is for system)

I don't think that you can recover the bad sectors.. 7 gb is the only memory you can get after bbrick bug

why not drop a PM to Dr ketan. May be he has a soln for you or just post in his thread for all to know the soln
After reading encryption unsuccessful thread in development section i am downgrade my captivate from slimbean to saurom jvu. Is there any way to prevent this. I am looking to change the default memory from internel to external. Anybody tried it. Can my cappy read the internel memory after changing it.

I'm not sure the bug can be prevented but it doesn't happen to everyone, I personally never got it.
One thing though, why downgrade? JB is by far better than ICS.

seems to be exclusively ICS problem. have not heard of anyone having the EU bug with any JB rom flashes coming directly from GB.
Does our beloved SGS i9000 work well with this microSDXC?

I think it is kind of wrong info: then you can use only 32GB.
But good news is that the newest CyanogenMod 10.2 supports SDXC cards!
i9000 can access 64GB cards

I did not yet try CyanogenMod 10.2 for formating, since I already had access to 64GB card, once it was formatted on a 2.3.x Android version loaded on my son's S-II
Once formated 64GB is accesable.. no issue on any Android version loaded on my i9000, and beleve me I experimented with most ROMs
So our i9000 does see the full Card size and not only 32GB...
:good:
