Hey friends,
again i will ask you, did someone know a working nxt (Xperia) Lockscreen replacement for Minicm9?
I only can found for Original ICS Firmwares
To get it working itself on GB was such a hussle...I doubt it can be made for CM9
ARGH...
Nothing is impossible by Android. But its a lot of hard work who no one will do. I'm right?
Maybe someone can try it who have some know how and experience with android programing.
I know many people will like it.

There won't be a guide on this and nobody is going to tell you how to do it. The reason being that we don't really know. You see, Sense is built on a crazy amount of HTC Frameworks and integrating all of that into a rom is a huge undertaking. The best bet would be to try and forward port 1.6 into the Sense rom but considering Sense is getting a 2.1 update soon nobody is going to try this. In other words, its not worth it.
Got it, well thanks for answering. I guess I will spend some time working on a new theme for it.
Hi wanted to know if our Samsung Galaxy Mini can have a Port for this i have also attached the pico link for the HTC Explorer rom for the start http://hotfile.com/dl/145676346/318815f/RUU_Pico_hTC_Asia_India_1.12.720.1_Radio_10.29.80.07H_1.09.80.26M2_release_217688_signed.exe.html
Theoretically, yes. But since it's MDPI it's very hard work (boring would be more suitable) to resize everything to fit our resolution.
Thanks a lot whisp your advice as always is inspiring but one question since cm9 is taking its fare share of time is it not fare to look at other options also for rom port maybe we can use the resolution fix app to solve this can you guide me to this please i want to start it as a pet project it will be a learning experience for newcomers in development like me its a humble request please port this rom for the sgm please
Sorry for the late reply. It is hard work to take every picture and resize it... and the quality wouldn't be the same as original. I think parasmi once tried to port sense ROM but he failed. I'm not a very experienced with all this development stuff since I haven't even been on Android for a year. And it was something like 2 months ago I started to read some articles about development. I don't want to brick my device again trying to port something. Try asking parasmi, maybe he will give it a shot again.
by the way, what's the advantage/dis
of this rom kind
I've been playing around with porting Sense 2.1.... Haven't got far yet
Try Sense from the wildfire since that has the same screen? But i think you also have to disable HW checks as its designed for specific hardware...... .
Hello together !
I've been wondering while if it is to possible to port Samsung (or other) Stock Roms to the I9000/1, (of course just so far as the hardware allows...) I didn't found anything about it, so it would be amazing, if someone would try to port e.g. the S4 stock rom to our s/s+
or provide a Guide on it
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Yes and no.
It is in some ways possible but the coding etc is a hell of a job and i doubt that any developer will do this on its own.. Or in a team..
Also this question has been asked seval times Next time use search better
i agree to mrjraider...
there are some custom roms which includes the look from s3 or xperia...
scour the development forum
greets
There was one released today called Xperian UI which looks really similar to the stock Sony Xperia UI. Comes not only with Albums/Movies/Walkman but aso other apps like the clock, the calendar, Timescape etc etc. Its pretty damn close.
Porting a stock Samsung rom, we can only go so far. I've seen some developers find it absoute hell to port.

Hey guys whatsup,
one question,
people are going hard with porting miui from chinese devices
but wouldnt it be easiest to just take
the rom framework from yuga, lay a honami cm/aospa base underneath
and make it stick?
im really excited about the progress
but isnt there a faster way?
cheers

As far as I know are people trying to port over MIUI from the Nexus 5, which is actually very similar to the Xperia Z1 in regard to the things that really matter, porting-wise. (think of things like the chipset, screen resolution, screen-size (not a whole lot but still))
Also bare in mind that it's harder to port closed-source ROMs like MIUI than you probably think. Another thing is that there aren't a whole lot of developers for the Xperia Z1.
I'm pretty sure somebody will eventually make it work though, if you feel like helping you can try to mess around with some files yourself. Remember that you can always flash a stock ROM again using flashtool, unless you manage to f*ck up the boot-loader, which is very hard to do by flashing ROMs, if not impossible.
Hey android lovers,
I'm in a difficult situation so I hope some one can please help me and being clear to me because my adhd. thanks in advance already.
I'm 23 years old and I'm having a iPhone since my 17th and since my 18th I'm into jailbreak, hacken, designing etc etc. and my best friend really likes what I do.
So I really want to design something for her, not huge. I was thinking about something awesome.
I think it would be fun to make 2 different styles of icons. Because android have '2 springboards'. I don't want to make her confused or something so I want to stay also colorful at the 'first' springboard and the 'second' a little bit how I like and that's usually dark background, wallpaper and colorful effects in the icon self.
But before I'm talking more about my really exciting feelings for that because I have so many new ideas because the difference between apple and android. I need to get to the point. I really don't know nothing about android, the development or what kind of designs already exsist, so sorry if my idea is old ;p I don't hate android at all, but ya, I know how to call with it. I am googling now for 3 hours maybe more to know if there is a way to install or convert .deb to a android. I have seen launchers to install iOS themes and tweaks. I know android is a open source so is there a way if I make the icons for her, that she can download it and activate in her launcher? Or, a other way to convert it? I don't want to look stupid here or something. I know android works different but for sure more options than Apple without jailbreak.
So I hope anyone can tell me if its possble, I can work with Debian and Windows only. And if it's possible but maybe 'hard' to make it android proof. I will read everything on Internet and learn from it. I know I can make my best friend happy with it.
Thanks,
Sandra
