I have contatced some Developers too but just wanted more opinions..
Here`s the problem.
Once my phone hits 50% and if i try using it after that,The screen starts to flicker..
Strange waves start appearing on the screen {Top to Bottom}
If i continue using... the waves increases and after few seconds the phone Switches Off
After around 10Minutes If i try to switch it back on...It switches on with 1% Battery...
If i put to charge it satrts from 1% if i restart once while charging it starts from 50%
So what is happening here and what is wrong with my phone..
I went back to Rooted KL3 Ginger Bread (I did not have this problem in Ginger Bread)
I flashed a safe ICS (Alliance)
It started again...
Flashed Alliance JB and it still remains,I have tried Rocket,Chrack,Crash and all Roms out there..
I did some research and got to know that sammy`s ics update had this problem,
I am open for all kinds of suggestions here :fingers-crossed::crying::angel:

This is a battery fault.
I had this and it went away when I changed my battery.
The only solution is to change the battery.
i had exactly the same problem!
your battery is dead. you should replace it immediately
i bought two of those:
http://www.amazon.com/2700mAh-Batte...F8&qid=1352243234&sr=8-3&keywords=n7000+anker
since i replaced the the battery everything works fine.
and those anker batterys are awesome
Thanks guys and YES, I checked the battery and the shape seems to be odd...
I guess it's time to change the battery...
Thanks a lot for the responses guys..
Had the same issue 2 weeks ago. Took the battery out and tried to spin it on a flat surface. It spinned with ease and had bulged. Bought a new one from Samsung and now have no issues and battery life is great

this is an ongoing issue. seems like the battery is dead after a year with signs of bloating. this never happened to my HD2 or Xperia X10. whats going on?
Its not uncommon for batteries to drastically lose their effectiveness after a year or so -- which is why I hate phones that don't have user-replaceble batteries.

You might just need a new battery man. Im OC'd to 1440 and im still getting a good 12 hours with heavy use.
I've been finding that it takes me 3 or 4 full cycles for me to get my battery life back after switching kernels or roms. Out has been the same with my wife.

Make sure you are killing your apps and run less widgets. Like said before it takes a few days for your battery to work properly, you can also look in to recalibrating your battery as well.

you may also want to try doing a master clear if you haven't done that in between switching ROMs. sometimes that will help with random battery drain.
If your really that worried find an AT&T device support center and tell them you would like a new battery because you do not believe this one is holding a charge like it should. I've done that and gotten a couple new ones no problem. Or you could try calling 611 and have one sent to you. Of course dont say anything about your rom switching.

Give that a try. I dunno if it's true or not as I never realized that the different charging speeds has an effect on battery life.

I would, but I left my phone in my pocket one day when I ran. The heat from my body caused the liquid indicator red. and I know what they are gonna say cause att is a bunch of aholes. Try continuum's 6.1. Its a jvq base 2.4. Sence I switched to them I've had no battery bug. It also uses the talon kernel that's designed for just that rom. Its a great combo.
I had a bad week with Continuum, though I think it was the I9000 bootloaders or just a bad flash. When i say bad poor battery life (8 hours with network and wifi off and most of the time on standby) and general lagg all around.
When you're switching ROMs and kernels, you're supposed to re-calibrate your battery.
Try this method here. If you're on a 2.3.3 ROM, it probably won't let you clear your battery stats file, so you can download the "Battery Calibration" app from the market.

IMHO, I would NOT use a NON-OEM battery. Stick with OEM and make sure to fully discharge your battery ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 0%. I have consistently had battery issues... poor life, not charging up to 100% or if it does charge to 100% once I unplug the charger it would immediately drop to 98% or 96% - all due to constantly charging the battery. I also read on these forums that when changing roms to wipe your cache & battery stats via CWM. Also, turning off background sync and stopping your email and apps from constantly syncing all day REALLY makes a difference in battery life too along with obviously not using 300 widgets at once, etc. Even the old 'recalibration' technique suggested on every Android forum didn't really work for me either. I recently bought myself another new OEM Samsung battery and fully discharged it by running it all the way down to 0% and that has greatly improved my overall battery life.

Hi everyone, I've experienced a problem in these last days.
Using google I found a guy who had my same problem, as it appears in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZQ-hbAClvE&feature=player_embedded
Never happened before I changed battery (I had the one given with the note, but last week I put another one of the two I bought, always by Samsung). One should be actually damaged because it gave me not only this problem, but several messages on screen like "battery disconnected". With the other one I started using today everything was fine until it arrived to 11% - it's not reliable though because I didn't make in time to calibrate the battery - and then it start flickering and shutted down.
Anybody know anything about this?!
I also have the same problem, I've read that should be normal, and it does not occur with some batteries. It should be due to the power supply

so there's nothing to worry about? because it happened to me 3 times and twice the Note asked me to change the time, since it was resetted to 1/1/2000... and it didn't sound normal to me :/
I saw this, too, just before my Note had major filesystem corruption. I can't think of any other reason for it. I wrote it all up over in the Q&A section.

Not adding a solution, just more info for diagnosis: My phone gets this when I'm down to 2% and using a cheapo gold battery off eBay. So maybe battery-quality is something to do with it.
As far as I know, it doesn't happen when I use the official battery.
Scared me the first few times, but it's happened five times and not damaged my Note in any way (although naturally I turn it off, give it a minute, and then start charging it back up).
well, I really hope this has nothing to do with battery quality because I bought them as ORIGINAL batteries! but they could be fake though, that's why it would be interesting to check some kind of serial to let us know if they're official or just fakes. In this case I would ask for the refund and use the old battery...
about the file system corruption, could be the battery the cause of that? because until the day I've used my original battery I haven't experienced any of these issues, so that's why I relate the battery to the problem of flickering... and that's why I don't absolutely want this junk to power my Note!
I didn't had that problem until I switched to Hydracore kernel. Now it flickers violently even under 20 % battery.

Its abviously from battry voltage.

Moved To Q&A
Its a question, so belongs in the Q&A section.
Your Note would flicker because it's trying to get more juice out on a a battery that is almost about to ran out...
Moreover, a cheapo replacement battery or an original one that has been wrongly calibrated before would also have this kind of a symptom.

I don't get it:
Yesterday night the phone was in airplane mode with a 60-70% charge.
This morning the phone is dead, and I needed to charge it again; after 10 minutes I switched on the device and... voilà, the battery level is 50%. WTF?!
I think I'll stay a couple of days more with this battery and then go back with my old one, asking the seller for a refund for both batteries.
Flickers on mine too.
I assumed it was normal.
Ye isnt it normal?

Hey guys!
Recently I read a lot about people who are facing the screen flickering issues on their Note. (YouTubv-Video, thanks to Parth)
For those who don't know about the problem:
When your phone is discharging it'll randomly begins flickering and shut down, then restart with 1 % battery left. The performance of the battery is dropping from around 4000 mV to 2500 mV... A new battery should fix this.
The strange thing I've noticed is that those people bought their Note around 12 months ago.
I bought it in November 2011 and got the issues around 3 weeks ago.
Could this be a common problem? Let me hear your opinion / experiences.
I've had this flickering for the first time about 1 week ago, after I replaced the original battery with a fresh one (from Anker): The flickering began when the new battery had 0% left. But instead of shutting down, the phone was flickering for about 1-2 minutes before the battery ran out of power and the phone was instantly switched off - without a "clean" shutdown. So it seems that the new battery does not "tell" the phone to shutdown before it is empty, and the flickering might be a symptom of a very weak battery. Just a guess...
Yes .. it happens on low battery. have noticed this on 3 notes already

my note is 15 months old. i started having this flickering issue 2 weeks back and got a new samsung oem battery 5 days back. the new battery has manufacturing date of 2012.12.27 on it. the flickering issue was 98% cured after getting a new battery as the only time i got flickering issue with the new battery was when my battery level was 8%.
now the strange thing happened yesterday. i was online on facebook for quite a long time on my note, upto the point when my battery reached 1%. then i decided to give it a rest and turned it off manually via proper power off. my note was turned off for about 2 hrs, then i came home and connected my charger while my note was turned off, but the charging indicator never showed up. i thought maybe it will take few moments for it to show up. i checked my note again after half an hour but it still wasn't showing charging indicator. i tried turning it on but it didn't turn on. i tried putting my old original battery and it worked perfectly as before along with the flickering issue. it was charging as usual so the charger is not the problem. i tried putting the new battery again and still it is neither turning on or showing charging. what am i supposed to do now?
EDIT: i think my new battery has gone into deep discharge. is there any way to revive it?

likeliness of it "blasting"... not very likely.. possibility of it "blasting".. it is possible..
batteries just go bad... a battery is only solid for around 500 charges then they just start losing their charge faster. i mean we are using small computers so this is just going to happen more and more. different reasons could cause this.... use of phone (it is what its designed to do..lol), a "cell" could just go bad causing the swelling, the circuitry in the battery fails causing the swelling, your charger goes bad and takes the battery with it (i had a cat bite thru a cable and it ground out..next day the battery showed signs of swelling and within a week you couldnt snap the battery cover on)... etc....
use is up to the user and their needs... there is a danger of the battery shorting the phone out totally and it never working again too. its not something that happens often but it is a solid possibility, so basically use good judgement...
it's usually caused by over charged (u don't unplug the charger when it reach 100%).
I've been using my Note more than a year and my battery still flat as it is new.

i beg to differ... the batteries have smart circuitry to protect against this. overcharging has not been a problem for years... i personally have left one of my notes on charge for days... it always stays on charge for 5-6 hrs past it being 100% and it still is a strong battery.. also just because a battery is flat doesnt mean its good... the swelling just makes the fact it is going bad more obvious...
I agree with kawgirl
