Down below you have a download link posted by KillDroidHack on Twitter.
Inside the zip file you will find all the Android 4.2. APK files for Gmail, Chrome, Maps, Launcher, etc.
Install them using the APK as you would normally do with any other app.
Download: www.d-h.st/wBX
PS1: I'm just posting the news, credits go to KillDroidHack.
PS2: Tested on Nexus S, working well. In certain situations, you might have to uninstall the old Gmail, Maps, etc before installing the new ones, otherwise you will get an error.
same with this that i use : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965895

There is another method for this.
You need Terminal Emulator and these commands:
> su
> pm create-user thenameuwant
For deleting this account:
> su
>pm remove-user 1
If you have more then 1 user you remove with 2,3,4.... what ever.
And if you want to log in to other user just hold power button and change in power menu!

I've extracted all the apks from the archive. There you will find both Gmail, Chrome, Calendar, Launcher, Keyboard, Gallery, etc (common) apps but also other system apps which I won't recommand installing without precaution and knowledge on what each one does.

Googled it but still cant find where to download the apk downloader any ideas or links
I can't pull 7he updates cause I don't know where the "update" data is saved. Try doing what Phandroid recommended. Go to Settings - Applications - Market - and clear your data. Now when you open the market again it should force the download/update. And you will have to accept the new terms and conditions

You guys will need to uninstall the existing version with something like Root Explorer or Titanium Backup, then manually move the apk to the /system/app folder, then reboot.

not wrking on my end here... tried the procedure it turns out an error , that it has a conflict on signiture so the apk was not installed. so i had to un install the original using Ti Backup, then tried installing manually in system/app. when that was ok reboot and check. there was no dialoge box for permissions , when i open its just the same app..

Thanks for this info. Yes I am a "noob" to Android. Actually I write programs and am trying to find my way around this device (Galaxy Note) to understand it more and customise it, partly by writing programs for it. But there are loads of terms I don't understand on Xda and I will have a lot of questions. Thanks for your help.

you need a root file explorer. once you have that, go to /system/apps, where it says Mount R/W, tap it so that you can write to system, push the Samsung apps into the folder, long press the file, change permissions to how it looks for all other apps, then tap Mount R/O

Not really necessary since you can just remove it manually without flashing a rom to do it for you

Precisely what I was going to say and you can get rid of pretty much 99% of them as that is what I did.
You can't disable all system apps through application manager.. Unless 4.1.2 is different on the One than it is on the S3.
Freeze with Titanium sounds a viable option.

True but if you don't want to root then it's the best alternative.
I've grown attached to these proprietary LG apps, so I de-odexed, resigned with CM platform keys, etc. so I can continue using them on CyanogenMod.
Hope it's useful for someone else.
Do this first
Copy this to /system/etc/permissions/com.lge.app.floating.xml
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<permissions>
<library name="com.lge.app.floating"
file="/system/framework/com.lge.app.floating.res.apk"/>
</permissions>
Put com.lge.app.floating.res.apk in /system/framework/
Reboot.
For Memo
You can just install Memobin.apk like a normal apk.
For QuickMemo
You need to copy QMemobin.apk to /system/app/
You need to overwrite /system/framework/android.policy.jar with the one attached.
Old Information Below. DISREGARD
In order for QuickMemo to work properly, you need another app to launch QuickMemo like this:
Code:
sendBroadcast(new Intent("com.lge.QuickClip.action.START_QUICKCLIP"));
If you just add the QuickMemo activity to Apex or Nova launcher, it will look like it works, but it will only show your scribbling with a black background instead of the screenshot.
Same if you use startActivity() instead of sendBroadcast().
I spent a whole afternoon figuring this out.
I am going to look at hooking that up to the usual Vol+ + Vol- hotkeys somehow. Hopefully will only take a couple of days.

If you are on CM and if you get parse error, move apk to data/media and install from there. It works for me, I think is the problem in permissions.

Device offline is because of new adb security features in 4.2.
You need the new version of adb from the Android SDK Tools: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
You only need to select and install the platform tools from the SDK Manager to get the latest adb.
