Hi ALL!
I have great experience with all Samsung Phones, like S, S2, S3 but today I get first time locked Sony LT30p. Want to remove bootloader and simlock.
Can someone can give me instructions how to remove it?
I can pay reliable price for it if needed.
There's already a guide on unlocking the bootloader in the Q & A section

unlock bootloader is free. Follow my guide from the all in one thread
simlock is paid for service, google it
Thread moved. Can you please ensure you post in the appropriate forum.
Simlock is down to your provider so you will have to contact them and ask for an unlock code which they may charge for. Also rule one of the forum states that you must search before posting, as already said this information is readily available in gregbradley's thread.

Hi!
I am completly new here and I am a little bit overwhelmed due to amount of the informations here.
First of all I am going to have Diamond from vodafone. Of course I want to unlock it and debrand. I would like to have sim-free device with original soft from HTC. Is it possible? Is it possible free of charge?
And one more question. If I unlock Diamond, will it be unlocked forever?
I mean if I upgrade to newer software, will it be still unlocked?
Could you give me link to some simple guide to upgrade software to official htc unmodified software? Is cracking required if I want to use htc software?

Please search.
All your questions have been answered many times and you can find detailed steps on what you can do and how you can do it.
There are people like tupsidin offering an unlocking at a price, and there should be a free unlocker in the future. It will permenantly unlock your device.
For ROM upgrades, I'd recommend the wiki, and this thread.
Closed the thread as it seems unnecessary.
hello everyone
i'm going to buy the galaxy note from a phone provider in my country, the galaxy note has a chance of 90% to be locked, and i want to use other sims on it, so, is there any way i can unlock my note for free? i've also read that i can unlock it with the "galaxy s unlocker" app but i need the kj4 kernel(the method is the sam as SGS2 method), so, can i flash this kernel to my phone then root and after that unlock it with the app mentioned before? and can i flash custom roms even my phone is locked? i need a fast reply as im buying it either today or tomorrow :l

You can get it unlocked remotely, I made a video and got the unlock code for free, my Galaxy Note was locked to At&t and I'm using T-Mobile Service with it now.

Hi
I have an IMEI unlock codes server, and I can provide unlock codes for all Samsung phones locked on European networks.
All models are compatible, even the most recent.
The unlock by imei don't make you loose your warranty, and it's permanent.
It's the easiest way to unlock your phone.
All you have to do is power on your phone with an unaccented sim card, type the provided unlock code, and the phone will be unlocked for ever.
The only info that I need is the IMEI of the phone. (type *#06# to see the IMEI)
And the model of the phone.
Delivery time: half hour normally.
SPECIAL OFFER 12€

Say that you see this post in XDA to benefit this offer.
Payments by PayPal 100% secure for you.
I have codes for all brands of phones too.
Thanks
Hello to All
I have a chance to buy two lightly used Samsung Captivates. Locked to AT&T network. Need T-Mobil network.
They are on 2.3.5 Gingerbread and untouched by mods.
I have tried one of the unlock services, they have not provided an unlock code after 3 days, does not seem likely they will.
I have read many of the post on this site, but most of it is dated, and a bit more than I need.
My questions are:
Is there a simple method to unlock these phones with out rooting ?
If it has to be rooted, which guide on this site would be the best to use.
Thank you for your help !!

There are quite a few guides around here but as I was searching I stumbled on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/17-02-2013-samsung-network-sim-unlock-t1731931
Worth a try imo!
OK I know this should be in the question section, but this section gets more traffic.
Has anyone checked the S4 Bootloader unlock methods with the new update from ATT

There are no S4 bootloader unlock methods, so there's nothing to try.
Then why can you install Cyanogen Mod on the AT&T S4? At least I thought you could. I'll do more research. I am just really wanting CM11 on my phone.

You cannot install CM on the AT&T S4 (i337), the bootloader is locked. There was a point over a year ago where there was an exploit for the bootloader that would allow you to install any ROM known as Loki. But that was patched with the very first update AT&T pushed out. There are very few people who still have that version.
The S4 Active was released after that vulnerability had been patched, so there was never a version of the Active where you could install custom ROMs.
If you want an unlocked bootloader, buy an international version of the phone you want, never buy a phone branded by either AT&T or Verizon. You're only other option with the i537 is to install SafeStrap, you will be able to install TouchWiz-based custom ROMs, but no CM and no AOSP.
Hell0 guys & gals,
With all the information floating around everywhere about the snapdragon on S10e, i need advice from good samaritans and talented modders from the XDA community, to avoid screwing up my toy! .. or Lucille will get through it ...
So, here it goes: what is the safest method to root the S10e G970U snapdragon?
Thanks!

An unlocked bootloader is required for root, and Samsung Snapdragon devices are typically not bootloader unlockable.
Enable Developer Options; do you see OEM Unlocking?
hi and thanks for the reply,
Unfortunatly nope... no OEM unlocking..
Since it's already unlocked, i guess it's only carrier unlocked and not factory unlocked, is that right?
I think theres no other way to flash a custom rom, other then by rooting it first, right? or is there other methods without rooting it?
on that thread, lots of discussion about it, and they claim its now possible to unlock snaps https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/snapdragon-root-legit.3966208/#post-84715421
As replied on that thread, there was a root process for older BL versions. Current/updated phones cannot be rooted at this time. If you do root an older BL, you were also stuck at that level - you could not patch or upgrade to newer versions (OS or security patch levels).
Check out the first reply on the second page of the thread you linked..
