Get 10 posts. Gives you access to being able to post in the development/phone specific sub forums. It also gives you access to have signatures, post in the marketplace (where you sell phone and phone related things), post outside links, etc. Also, you may want to avoid this specific sub forum or just mainly DanWilson. He's dangerous and may get you banned/hack you. Also, people like it when you use the search feature at the top of the page instead of just posting in a sub forum. I'm not really against or for this. But many people get (VERY) angry. Sheesh. Have fun, and enjoy.

How many post u need to allow new users to add links because i want to post a thread about fixing my phone and to explain carefully i need to add links? Im just asking.

10 posts should get you the ability for external links if i am correct.

Well, you'd wanna use some lube if it is your first time, because going bareback might hurt a little for both parties.
You'd also wanna ease it in a little before going full force.
I'd give you more advice but I see PDL here and he's probably more experienced, what with his marriage to Dan and all that.

Don't use this site. You're gonna brick your nice new phone, and by the time you get it to work again, a newer, better phone will have come out. Forget this site, go look at porn insread.

...most dumb post I've ever seen in the last months.
I really trying to raise the user experience of users by spending a lot of time and effort in those mods....and I'm doing a lot of mods as you can see in my signature.
Well you can believe it or not, I dont just spent hours on those mods, more like days and weeks. On my leedroid tweaks project even months.
..and I'm doing this for fun and SHARE it with YOU for FREE!
So what the problem when I just put one rule up for DEVS and THEMERS to wait a t least on week before including it?
On that way I can ensure some activity in my threads and not to lose all users by day one, because all are kanging me on day two?

Dumb? Asking people to wait a week to get permission to use your work and you call me dumb? Yea request they ask your permission and give you credit for your hard work but wait a week! Man people like you is what's wrong with xda and no dumb leechers in here. The guy posted and stated it wasn't his work and direct linked to your thread. No problem with that at all. All he did wrong was provid file on download. He was tryna to help not leech. There is a major difference

And before you guys start moaning about this being abandoned please remember that you can always grab it from the OP thread and flash yourself. I have flashed both manually and they work great. Just grab them from the Sensation thread. Not natively made for XL but it works.

What **** did you develop for me to play with dude? How many chefs are there on xda providing Roms for how many devices! Chefs are not gods mate as without us mere users there would be no need for chefs. One can't go without the other. This is your worst post on here as well! Know your place dude for real! I don't have an attitude, and develop my rom for my pleassure....
I don't need users, this is made to make MY phone look nice, and if other people like it, they are free to use it.

lol if you didnt need users why be a dev on here and make your rom public? you would just keep it for your own private consumption period. the mere fact it is here on xda means you crave that following that comes from users liking your work and thanking you for it! i like your work but wont kiss ass because i do! if you posted something i didnt like id tell you same way! you must have had people who didnt like your work but you didnt stop all dev cause of it did you? we are adults in here and this childish attitude is not acceptable.

But we are NOT all adults here, and English is for a lot NOT there native language...
So the way you write down your opinion is very delicate.
I respect you for what you do for the community, even if your not called a dev.
You are a very helpfull person... Thats why I did not expect you to write your opinion like the way you do.

how can i edit 4.2 apks like systemui and others i use apk-multi-tool. i have no problem with decompile only with compile part keeps saying no resources but have installed framework-res.apk and systemui.apk ??

i dont use apk-multi tool.
i run ubuntu so i use mdroid app

I will give that a look because I use windows and Ubuntu

There should be another framework apk that is used as a resource, is there any other apks in your framework folder?

Nope that is the only one in frameworks folder I'm on cm10.1 asylum at the moment

One, learn to type correctly in English.
Two, quit flaming people who try to contribute. Even if the contribution is small or you feel it's not a huge contribution, it's still something. I don't see you doing anything to help the community.
I don't even know what this thread originally was, but I hate to see people who try to help get disrespect for it. So maybe a mod should clean up your ignorant, unnecessary posts and the OP should continue to help. The end.

think about getting a new functionality - multi-user on our note 4.2.1

Test on your dad's phone.. First you don't have, then you have 2.. And this its a terrible idea.. It's just stupid even for tablets because I wouldn't share my tab or phone with anyone.. Not even my wife.. She has her own devices.. Guess your dad doesn't want to let you try on his.. Why should we?
Or try on your note 2 and go to that forum and post it there.. You are not a Note 1 owner anyways... Happy holidays

hI, no matter what I do, if I install every roms my phone is so slow. Can´t play games or quick list in. Have You some idea how accelerate processor and little bit save battery in wifi and 3g mode? Thanks

You know that It isn't the correct section, don't you?
so why ask for it here??
Galaxy Ace has an ARMV6 processor, it is too old for current heavy games, roms are modifyed to get the best balance between this 2 topic, you can barebone it, doing OC your performance might be reduced...

You should try a bareboned CM7 or stock with some lighter 3er party apps plus using smartassv2 governor, is the best way to increase performance

If you want Battery Life search for Stock Based Roms. I would suggest to use "StockLite v8".
If battery is not a concern and gaming performance is what u looking for then u can try "The Ultimatum" Rom
Further i have reviewed a few Roms, you can read and then choose whats best for u. Link below

...You are wrong you know something like READ BEFORE POST?? well, Paul isn't new here xD that's the problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313363 plus he is asking for the same questions he asked :s have a look at the final pages, no offense at all but if we want that our thread works properly, we need to colaborate, read and search and OBEY RULES! It's the best way to help whoever

There are a lot of threads and posts, and moderators can't control every post, you should think about it, It easier that a member look for his question in Q&A thread berofe search for it in a really awful mashup thread, ORDER IS ORDER, we can do it easier and better, so we need to colaborate together

it seems very odd with in 10 hours of the rom being up it's getting reported :crying: why not the V3.0 / beta ?

I hate when XDA moderators think they are the police. They should not just shut down an amazing ROM thread. They should talk with the op first and try to resolve issues. Open the thread for crying out loud!

Any idea on why it was reported? I've been in his thread since day one on the Note 4 and it has been one of the best threads I have ever been apart of!

No one knows the full story yet.. We may never know.. I know mod kennyg is fair. He does not step in without reason or for kicks. Let it play out.

I know Brian is not guilty of the infraction/s. He has the type of thread that we used to have back in 2005 when we were on XDA's. He is responsive friendly and willingly answers the same questions over and over. He would and has actually discouraged bad behavior of all kinds.
Obviously the mods didn't spend any time in the thread.
I am on any list too vouch for his forum behavior.

Sounds like someone made a big deal about people who donated getting to test the betas of the DK ROM first.
@bri315317 isn't selling access to his betas. He figured the fair way to let people test was to offer the beta to people who ALREADY DONATED. It wasn't a ploy to get people to donate. Brian doesn't need the money. Its his hobby. He does it for himself and for us. I have donated several times to the Note 3 and now Note 4 DK ROM work. Nobody made me do it. I did it because I appreciate his work.
If this investigation goes on more than a day then there is some serious injustice going on here.

He is also a family man who has helped me and a million people in that thread

Couldnt agree with you more! He has one of the best threads! Rom talk, off topic talk, pretty much anything goes and its very easy going. I just cant possibly see anything he could have done wrong..

Did you get your device fixed?
I found I had to flash the rom first set it up and then the theme or it would boot loop.

no not yet >>> my steps
1. full wipe
2. install rom
endless bootloop i tried full everything wipe no luck im just gonna install the beta then update to v4 hpe that will work

Full wipe do you open advanced and check data and system and both caches, or just pull the handle?

WE ARE DYNAMIC :good: sorry maybe i just care about this more then others

You think this will help the cause? Wrong, i pretty much can promise this only will annoy the mods, and therefore cause more issue to whatever they are trying to address. If there is no harm, no foul, then you all have nothing to worry about. Just let them do their jobs, and move on.

As stated above, I will suggest in letting this thread die as much as I want to chime in myself. We all know this thread will not serve its purpose given the past several post. Speculations are not good for the cause, personal opinions are not good for it.
Kenny is fair and does not act out for no reason. Let the investigation continue as it is and the end result will speak for itself. After all, that is what investigations are right?
