Hi it already does 3 days that my phone doesn't receive/send SMS , it say's the error message that my SMS couldn't be sent. I unlocked my phone, rooted it ,got gingerbread 2.3.6 then tried to go on Cyaogenmod, it bootlooped my phone. I finally fixed it and now I'm only with gingerbread 2.3.4,no root but.. I'm not receiving SMS or i can't send them still. When I'm opening my phone I can receive and send for the first minute after that it doesn't want to.. So please help me I'm a little frustrated.. 3 days........... -_-
New: Just activated the airplane ON and OFF , and when it was off I was able to receive SMS and now .. nothing.

Ok i am a noob at this but i had a similar problem though it didnt even work for that 1 min.
my problem was the imei number got corrupted..when i checked the imei(using *#06#) it said "?"
so u may want to check ur imei number.
I took my phone to service centre as I had no choice -.-

I was wondering if people more experienced could help me with a strange problem.
I can't seem to send or receive sms'es. When I send an sms, nothing happens, and the message just sits there in the "Outbox".
When I send an sms to myself (from another phone), the phone WAKES UP, but no message shows up. So obviously the phone is receiving the message but it's not showing up? Maybe it's being blocked somewhere?
It was working fine before 2 days ago, and the only thing I can think of which I've done during the past 2 days was set up push mail with Exchange 2007. Would this affect things?
I've checked my settings, sms is set to send via GSM and the service center number is correct.
Also to confirm - I've tried hard-reset and the phone received sms'es fine.
But as soon as I reload my backup, it no longer receives/shows the sms'es being received. So something is block the sms from showing up. What program/setting would it be?

Lately i have been trying all kind of roms on my mobile, but they all seem to have the same problem. sometimes when i try to send an sms it does not send it or it sends it many hours after i pressed send. wich is really anoying. (last time i also recieved an sms many hours after )
when i reset my device and go to sms folder i can force it to send it. ( so after reboot it somehow resends the sms automaticly ) or i get the error can not send sms.
So is this a known problem?
i thought it was the provider first. but since it has been doing it for weeks i am not sure about that.

I have the lg optimus x2 and I am facing an a issue.
Receiving multiple times the messages witch send to my number and I have check that the phone is the problem because when I chance the sim card with other network it’s still do the same. Can someone facing the same prob and what can I do. I have made a contact with the WIND and they say that the phone didn’t send back that it has received the message and the WIND sends again and again the message.
PS I run the stock rom and now the fr19 and the same happen.

My problem is the same with stock rom V20q. My provider wrote that my device sends back error message so they send the SMS again. Any solution? May Handcent cause this problem?
So the title say it all. After putting the deblurred rom on my phone I haven't been able to receive texts. I can at the start for a day or two but then suddenly it stops. Any help? Its SMSs btw

Thanks ill try that now! Ive had problems with this before when i reflashed the rom with a full wipe and it seems grand for a day or 2 then just reverts back to not receiving messages!
Now i cant send or receive any text messages after installing that... Even after a full restore it wont work. Whats going on
Right now i can receive texts and calls and make calls. But not send texts. Can anyone help me? Its not the carrier its something to do with my phone
Hey guys, for the last two days my phone will receive texts fine but as soon as I go to send a text it says message failed. Everything else on the phone works just fine. Any ideas? It randomly happened, no new downloads, no tweaks. I'm not rooted. It was working at 6:45pm on Saturday and when I went to go send a text at 7pm it wouldn't go through. It was in my pocket the whole time.
I got it. The "message center" number somehow got deleted.

How did you get the message center # to manually input it?
