Its based off Of HTC Kingdom. Sense 3 ported to the DHD / Inspire 4g / and now the INC S

Hmm no major luck or schwartz for me...stuck on splash screen after a clean install. I did a full wipe and format system too..any ideas?

[DEV/Closed] Beats audio (Beats Dolby SRS Equalizer) for SENSE 3.5 complete

I made improvments in beats quality, there is better sound quality and louder!
this mode includes all sound options in htc music app (dolby,srs,equilazer)
test and report pls, and pressing thanks button would be much appreciated...

Yep, its in the title guys. This is for sense 3.5 plus its based on Telstra's 2.3.7 so it makes sense
By the way I've flashed via cwm, but the music app keeps fc...
Edit: oh well, just restored system backup and its all good now.

Edit: did not work on rumraider...unless I'm doing something wrong...can someone confirm?

I'm using this with rumraider works good but sound improvement isn't that much noticeable just improved bass. A good equalizer would have a similar effect. Try flashing again.

Made a Beats boot animation for WildChild's WCX Rom, flash via recovery

CRT Animations on ICS anyone?

Is there a mod to get CRT animations on ICS? I really miss that graphic feature from my GB setup

I've tried to do it..problem is I can't seem to get apktool to work with sense 3.6...can't even install the HTC dependencies...in other words I can't decompile or recompile the framework-res.apk...if someone knows how to do that please help me...then I can see about maybe getting CRT animation (its an easy mod to do...as long as you can decompile and recompile apks...)

I've tried doing the apk decompile of the framework-res and the bool value the guides out there tell you to change is already set to false, as the guide states, therefore, it won't do anything if you recompile it and stick it back in.
I haven't been able to fix this yet... The user Bananacakes has this feature as a TODO for Holics ROM, so perhaps he will come up with a method that will work on other ROMS as well.
I too would really like to see this feature.

Has anyone asked bananacakes if he has had any luck on his progress, maybe he forgot about it and he can add it to his next holics update if he knows people are still intrested in it?

De-Sensed v1.5 rom be wajee finally got crt off animation

Thanks to some pointers from Wajee, I'm going to try to add the CRT effect to Holics. If that works, I will likely be able to produce a flashable for any att based Rom.
I'll be taking a crack at it tomorrow.

Good luck...alltjough I think HTC removed it from sense completely.....wahjee is using aosp frameworks which still has it
Could be 100% wrong, I have no idea what wajee said or what frameworks wajee is actually using...good luck tho

Already been there man. I don't mean to be a downer, but having gone down that road already, I can say that you're nit going to get anywhere with the HTC libs.

That's what I figured...the reason it doesn't work with sense based ROMs is because HTC completely removed it...de sensed ROMs use an aosp based framework I believe...which does support crt animations

[BATTERY] Samsung-like Procentage Battery Mod/Theme

This is a mod/theme with battery percentage featuring a big fat battery, blue, you see the screenshot, flashable zip provided, tested on Incredebily Cool Sense v3.6 but should work on any ICS out there (with sense v3.6), even the stock one so check it out
Further tests on other rom's are needed, so try it at your own risk!

It should work on any ICS that has Sense v3.6, backup, try, feedback, but it should work on original 2.31.402.1 and on Insanly Cool Sense with no problem

I worked on my SXl stock ICS firmware. Download Zip file, go to recovery and flash this Zip file and reboot and there you have it

I've been running holics 1.3 as my dd for a long time but I'm looking for something new. I heard the Pac Rom is nice. Anyone recommend anything better then go holics?

i'm running holics as well on my vivid and was also looking for a new one. I think i am going with the touchwiz rom made by xXSHaDoWsomethingXx based off of Pacman, you might want to take a look at that.

PacMan is good & stable. The battery life is good as well. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a change.

Noob questions
Hi,
I'm new here and I need to ask a couple of things. I really want to root the phone and work with it because the battery is killing me with its phenomenally short live.
So, the 2 questions. What rom would you recommend as worth to try? For what I have been reading Paranoid or PAC appears to be the one with almost no problems related to phone operability.
And the second question is where I can find a proper guide on how to root this phone? I am not new to rooting a phone have done that before with an HTC desire and a Galaxy S2 but I am having a hard time finding a proper guide to root the HTC vivid.

i just rooted my vivid.. using twrp as my recovery ,,,,as for the rom CyanogenMod ,it works the best,, i have tried pacman,,glitchy ,,MlUl didn't work.

biggest glitch.. just about every app i use they would eventually get,, your app has stopped working,,,as for muii,, even after factory reset every thing would fail to load,,,open home screen and fail messages galore,,, biggest complaint on cyanogenmod,,, phone speaker volume is to low,, and it hates google,, play , talk , maps,, does not work right on my phone

Been using borked 2.5 and really have not had any complaints. I use my build.prop speed mods which is in the developement section and have been enjoying sense 4.1

Been using Borked, awesome rom.

Borked 2.5 beta is a good choice. For being a beta it doesn't have very many bugs from what i've seen.

PAC, Paranoid Android, and cyanogen mod are all good. I'll give a link to a ton of ROMs that you can try.

I've tried almost every ROM. JB ROMs isn't to att friendly as the in call volume is super low. first on ma list is virtouis inquisition on battery life an performance and sound quality second is darkraider has aroma installer and like 7 kernels to choose from an a whole bunch of install options and if u wanna change any of the kernels are settings offered to u in the install just reflash zip an gives u option to change setting super clean an super easy to use also very good on battery life performance and sound in audio and in call. jb ROMs I like cm10 with sultan kernel developed by a super smart 15 year old xda developer he's the only one working on the volume fix as we speak as and yes fixed a whole bunch of jelly bean ROM problems and the thing that flips my head the most is he don't even own or have a vivid

i'm also running cm10 with sultan kernal. runs great, no issues. if you use it you cant get the most up to date version of gapp's, there's a slightly older version that works with the vivid/cm10 much better

Seriously gotta try borked 3.2, its amazing.
