New Body Glove Case....... - Galaxy Note II Accessories

I guess I am the first to find this one
I had previously purchased the black body glove case from my local sprint store and was not very confident that if I dropped the phone with it that it would not suffer the Left Corner of Doom break that several have suffered thus far. To me the case does not seem to offer enough protection to those sensitive corners. I have been calling around to every phone store and driving to them on a semi regular basis looking to see if they had gotten any cases in yet and the answer is always NO. Well today my replacement NOTE II arrived and I did not want it to suffer the fate of its previous brother so I headed back out to Sprint to re-purchase the the black body glove case that I had just returned the day prior because I was hoping that by the time Asurion got their shipments in and sent them out maybe Otterbox or Ballistic or even Kracken would have released something for it.
As I was looking around as I usually do, a sales associate asked if she could help me find something . I told her I was looking for a case for my Galaxy Note 2 and she pointed me to the wallet thing and the black body glove cases. She then said we also have a pink one. Yeah I said PINK one. Now just in case it is not clear, I am in fact a man and had very little interest in a pink case. Nothing wrong if you like pink. She showed me the case and I began to compare the two. Well low and behold, the pink case is actually made different than the black one. The pink case is a two piece case consisting of a polycarbonate outer shell with a soft inner silica rubber shell molded together in one piece producing a slightly thicker more rigid and better corner protecting case for the corner.
So against everything in me I bougth it. I tried to find it on their website or any website for that matter and could not. They only had two on the shelf. So if you and your wife both purchased note 2's and you got her the pink case and you bougth the black for yourself, your wifes case is better protected than yours......lol

{Q]Where to get Samsung d30 Case

Looking for the d30 Case that Samsung advertised with the Tab launch. I tried ordering it from fommy.com but what they shipped is the Easel Case. Unfortunately after confirming the sku, the Easel Case is all they have, thus sending this back. Anyone have one of these or know where to get one? Here's a link to some photos of it.
http://www.fommy.com/view-full-page...model=Samsung+GALAXY+Tab+GT-P1000&skuno=89875
Again, photos on this site are incorrect. They do not actually have this.
Most uscellular stores carry these.
Thanks, but looks like none in my vicinity. Also not listed on their website. Anywhere else? I'm on the East Coast, USA.
I dont like the case as it partially covers up the 4 main buttons on the bottom. Maybe i got a bad one but to use it properly i am going to have to do a bit of modding to it.
The cases we received in Norway (official Samsung case) are slightly different. There is no leather covering the front of the Tab at all. It is held in with plastic corners that grab the edge of the Tab itself. Very nice and very thin. The back is plastic and the front is leather.

I have the Samsung d30 case, and I'd personally not bother if I was to do it again.
Whilst mine fits ok in the case, when I try to use it as a stand it is pretty useless.
Regards,
Dave

Thanks, that's the leather snap on case. We have that here as well. Originally wanted a full book style case, but am now rethinking it. I picked up a cheap but nice padded pouch that fits the Tab great. Now am thinking to just get a snap on to protect the back like the one you posted. In any case, this new case will carry me over for now. Here are some snaps. Paid $14 at Wally World (Walmart)

The case comes with these extended bumper corners which make holding the phone easier and provides extra protection from the Left Corner Drop of Doom. The weakest point of the case is the kickstand. The kickstand is flimsy and does not have a positive lock in place or a strong hinge when opened. the volume keys as well as the power key are covered. The charging port as well as the earphone jack are left exposed. The black rubber is harder than the standard TPU but not as hard as the white plastic that it is attached to.
All in all its a nice case

Nice case..found it too, with so many color variations..but they wont ship here..huhu..thanx for the review..
not a big fan at all, looks horrible!
Makes it look like the size of the Ziggy device on Quantum Leap show.
Well......
Im not sure how it makes the phone look bigger because the case isnt pictured with the phone in it.
Anyways I was in Sprint looking to see if they had gotten in either of my two favorites which are otterbox or ballistic and they hadnt. There was an older than me gentle man who was looking for a case for his phone and they had none and he said he was affraid he was going to break it. I explained that I understood seeing how my first one lasted 20hrs. I reached in my back pocket and gave him the case. He wanted to pay me for it but I told him it wasnt necessary and wished him a happy holiday season. He seemed a bit confused as well as the Sprint employees wonder why I was asking about a case when I am just pulling them out of my pocket giving them away like toys from Santa's bag. I think giving away an $8 freely shipped case to someone who will appreciate the act and may recipicate an act of kindnes to someone else this season is worth the small investment.
I have this exact case as well. It makes the phone too big for breast pockets, but still fine for pants pockets and carrying. I plan on only using it for when I need protection, but not as a daily driver. For the price, you can't beat it.
Ordered the same case. Do you have pics of the phone in it?
I have this case i think it feel really good in the Hand and looks good too. CLICK on the Link to see the Pictures

Agreed, but the TPU is a lot more stiff. Not certain but I would venture to guess these cases wouldn't do as well in drop tests.

Do you have that case? Wonder if it fits the att note 2 I have
The polycarbonate clear shells look good new but they get scuffed real easily
Cool! Nice thing about plastic is that if it gets scratched you can buff it out and repolish, right? I'd miss my kickstand, though.
Sadly no brand name just a plastic cover. Even the store said its just a chineese case not a brand. I like it so much as its totally clear not frosted and even the lip is tpu clear raised to protected the screen and all of all its only 5 dollars.
And yes plastic scuffes easy but not visible.

All note 2s have the same form factor.
swyped all these spelling errors from my galaxy note 2
Had this type of case on my note 1. It was a good case but made the phone a bit heavier.
It looks great!
Nice

Looks like a scratch magnet to me.
There is an all clear one on Amazon but it's not $5
That's a nice case that shows off the beautiful design and color. However, you should know that hard plastic may etch into your $250 phone.
I like the look of these cases but I've seen them yellow and that's my concern.

Yes tpu does yellow. Does anyone know how to clean it?
Soap and water
looks damn good. been looking for one that is like this online
I ended up grabbing this clear case off of amazon to go with some skins I purchased. It's just a hard plastic case and for ~$8 it makes me feel a bit safer. The fit is great (although I do have a skin that adds some, albeit very little, width) and when it's snapped on it is ON. It's mainly to tide me over until I find a great place to buy some custom cases but I have no complaints for the moment.

Sinjimoru Sinji Wallet Pouch Review + Pics

Hello, this is my first review of any thing. It is on the sinjimoru sinji adhesive wallet type pouch available on amazon here :
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005ZVVJ1I/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8 . It is about $10 USD.
I originally bought this item because I didn't really have the need for a wallet (I only carry a credit card and ID). Being able to combine my phone and money seemed very convenient to me. It arrives in pretty plain packaging and is very easy to install, peel the plastic attatched to the adhesive part and apply.
At first, it worked great. It looked smooth, and had a very nice deep black color. It felt sturdy and was very stuck onto the back of my phone. It could carry a whole spare anker battery a little snug and a few cards plus some earbuds with ease.
2 months later, here I am. It has discolored and turned almost a navy color. It has gathered a lot of fuzzy little material now and looks very unattractive. It is even ripping at a seam. It still does it's job of holding things and is still very sticky to the back of my otterbox commuter.
Overall, I would rate this item a 2/5. It looks great at first, and does it's job, but becomes very ugly after a month or two. I hope my review helped. I would not recommend buying this product.

I don't have a long term use experience with Cosmos 3x of adhesive pouches I got from Amazon ($5.99 for a pack of 3), but I decided to apply it in a different way inside of the holster. Here is my setup: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39174277&postcount=45
Will start using it once it gets warmer outside and my winter jacket is off I figured pouch itself will not be in contact with my pocket, so less wear'n'tear!
Any thoughts on putting the Sinji pouch (or similar type of stick on wallets) with a bumper frame case? I'm thinking the bumper frame lip will help recess the Sinji pouch nicely.
Put this directly on the back of the phone.

Use a bumper case like this that has no back

[Case] Targus Safeport Rugged Max Pro - Galaxy Tab 3 10.1

I have a number of Galaxy Tab 3 10.1's in an enterprise environment that isn't kind to electronics. The GT3 10.1's work great and are cheap compared to other devices or even the more defacto enterprise hero, the iPad.
The problem I've had since getting a hold of the device is getting ruggedized cases for it. I've tried the Gumdrop rugged case (and probably should post a review thread of it) but I wanted something more serious looking and less like the tread of a tire. That's where the Targus Safeport case came in.
I'm pretty sure these things aren't technically sold by Targus in the US. I've found them on their official EU site but they don't sell direct. I bought 11 from Buy.com recently for about $65 a piece. They float around the internet on a few sites, although I probably hope none of you buy them since I may need them all.
The case is pretty beefy and has a built in screen protector. It's rated for a 4ft to concrete drop rating (which I'm positive we'll test in my environment). It lists wind, rain, and dust ratings although I'm skeptical on those just based on the hole for the home button in the screen protector.
It's a 3 piece case with a rubber inner shell, the snap on screen protector, then the hard exterior shell. It has covers over the headphone and power ports. The IR port is opened but sealed with a material similar to the screen protector. All the buttons are appropriately raised and seem to function just as well as when they were uncovered. The speaker grills are on the front and covered with a black fine grill mesh to probably keep that dust rating. The giant hole in the back is covered with the same material as the screen cover. I'm guessing Targus must have a connector that snaps in the circular hole. I think I've seen the same hole on the iPad case they sell.
Overall I'm happy to find the case. I'm worried it's going to be hard getting as many as I really want. So I'll probably be begging Targus for a bulk order or buying every last one on the Internet.
If you have any questions about it please ask.
