Could anyone tell me which N7000 official firmware has the lightest (ICS) rom...I mean virtually no bloatware? I'm in Bangladesh...the modem for Bangladesh firmware has poor audio quality and so does the Indian one. The German LRT was good but had too much bloatware. anyone?

Guys I'm going to update my note with ICS 4.0.4
As at now there are two version issued by Samsung. which are XXLRG and DXLR2.
I'm bit confused which one shout be the best.. (I'm not sure is there any differs..
Please give some ideas..
Updating with stock 4.0.4 the difference will usually be the stuff like modems, kernels etc with the rest almost same. Just change the csc based on your location to use kies for further updates(just in case).
Does the new 4.0.4 updated still having the EMMC brick bug ?

Your answer is in this post by programmatix:
"If you are from South East Asia, choose DXLR2, else choose XXLRG. DXLR2 contains keyboards (Swype and Samsung Keyboard) that support languages like Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia and etc.
The cons of choosing DXLR2 are as follow:Contains a lot of junk apps in System\App. However, they won't be installed if the CSC you've choosen doesn't include them.Themes found in XDA might not work and cause boot loop because most themes are made for the "XX" region.
The pros of choosing DXLR2 are:Contains the South East Asia languages. Can be used for warranty claim purposes (for South East Asia users)."

My phone was on LRK but I'm from the UK
Mine was From Italia, i changed to LRK because Germany always gets the updates first (at least for note, or at least the last 3 major updates) and I'm from Venezuela..
I see no point on changing roms to brasil or any south American carrier.. They get the updates months after the official its released...

Hi all, this may be a stupid question to ask, but i'm just a newbie here. I've been wondering what is the differences between these three firmware upgrade for SGSA GT-I9070? Hope that you guys can help me to clear all the differences. What i know is these firmware is upgrade version of SGSA from GB to JB. With all relevant answers, i appreciate it very much  Thank you in advance
I went to the Jelly Bean since December 2012 and now LPY version of any month I JB version, ie LQ4.
What I can say this last version is more stable with kernel Adi Pat, SIRI rc-4, I dont have any lag or FC, battery keeps me around for two days with a few hours of browsing, games, voice calls, without 3G, only WiFi.
Overall I am very satisfied with the current configuration.
Y was the first JB upgrade and then Z was released and now latest most stable build is LQ4. But still you require custom kernels to be lag free. An international official release is awaited this april

So, this mean the first version is a test and they upgrade to XXLPZ. later to LQ4 which mean almost bug free? i would consider to flash this LQ4 firmware but right now still enjoying JetMOD
now i download xxlqb wich is new than other? xxlqb or xxlq4
lqb is newer.
But is it better. I have lots of lag in it even with custom kernel as opposed to lq4

There has been so much said that these and that regions JB are just the same as LSZ of Germany . Would anybody show PROOF that this is true? Why then would Samsung NOT release an ALL REGION MULTI CSC firmware if the firmware is basically the same? This would stop the never ending clamour for each user for his/ her regions update.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
I think if the base is same, everything else should be same, irrespective of region.
Only experts could confirm.

There's usually some horrible region specific apps on the stock roms that nobody seems to want.

given some download links, I could perform simple binary comparison of all ROM files
As the title states, I'm currently running stock:
JZ054K.N7000XXLT4 with a baseband of N7000XXLT3
Is there a better firmware out there that I should be running? I want to keep it as stock as possible, but I'm feel like I'm missing out on a newer firmware even though my Germany unit says I'm up to date.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

My personal advice would be, if you are insisting on purchasing a note it is a lovely device, I wouldn't replace mine with a newer galaxy S3 or even an S4. But I might consider a note 2 if I were you. The large screen is awesome.
Another word of advice is to keep the note as stock as possible, unless you love fiddling with modded ROMs, and that could be challenging.

You have xxlt9 firmware available which you can flash. Just make sure sure flash the carrier free version (not from vodafone or orange as it wouod be bloated like hell).
And the modem version is same that's xxlt3 so I dont think that would be an issue.
I'm from Indiabut using the UK latest furmware myself. No troubles at all.
