hi everybody.
long story short guys I have been trying to add adobe flash player to system apps for a long time, not expressing literally long time, but apparently this little piece of .... doesn't like me and chooses not to work when I add it to system apps,i have tried tons of different apks and extracted them and copied the lib to system\lib and no result but failure. so I decided to ask you how I can add this thing to system.
so please help before I set adobe on fire then smack my SGA against the wall and jump outta the window.........
Any ways guys I'm trying to make my own Rom so please don't say use root explorer and set permissions and stuff. you know what I mean.
thanks in advance, Sikorsky96

by the way no matter if i get my answer or not ill press the thanks button for all the posts in this thread ;-) I'm just trying to be grateful. thanks for your time guys.
Go here and just install signed_Adobe_Flash_Player_11.1.111.9.apk normally. No need to do anything with libs, there all included.
Whats with you and thread titles? Your previous thread was titled "ATTENTION!ATTENTION!blabla".Now this one is named "<emergency>blabla</emergency>.Titles should be used to identify the thread and in a way that someone can identify your problem. There is no use in making them 'stylish'. Your question has already been answered,so nothing left for me to do here anyway.

Make sure when you move the signed apk to system/app you set the permissions to rw-r-r :
[√][√][ ]
[√][ ][ ]
[√][ ][ ]
Sent from my GALAXY Ace.
Also, after installing apps you can use titanium backup or link2sd to turn them into system apps. Just reboot afterwards.
Also, try to leave your frustation at home instead of flaming people that give you plausible solutions.

yes, but it doesn't work, I'm sure the apk works because when I install it normally it works but as an system app it wouldn't. may be just may be the libs need to be in data instead of system
Well, after installing flash as a system app check where the libs end up. Then just add the libs and lines to the updater script to make sure they end up in the same address.
If the libs install to data im not sure they would survive a factory reset, since you stated that putting just the app in the system/app doesn't help.

Recently there's some request for SNS Integration in Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102 Contacts,
and Samsung Social Hub that some Custom ROM for our phone didn't yet support.
And I've been searching too for Twitter and Facebook Integration, that stock ROM supports.
So I revert to stock ROM, copy my framework files and deodexed it myself
After I deodexed it, I used Millan.SIS gtalk.zip to make my own flashable files
It's been tested by me, and so far it's working on my device with my phone specification below

Nope, it doesn't. If you want just backup samsung apps via titanium backup when you're on stock rom,
then restore it, because it's already deodexed..

@OP
try to see if you can go to CMW and wipe dalvik cache and cache partition.. reboot system and check if that icon's still there.
Check whether this application are installed to SD card
Setting - application - On SD card
if yes, move them to phone.

oFT: hey doc, just a q...
isn't this the Music Player app that the OP is talking about? hmm Music player as far as I know are system apps and so therefore you really can't move them over to the SD card right?
yes right, i didn't remark which application OP have mentioned, but this error is classic with app on SD with new launcher.
Edit :
And look to symbol, it suggest SD card

If you want to know what is diference between odex and deodex, google it...
for me Odex means better battery and faster loading of apps (NOT performance)
this is original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514576
TUtorial in short:
***Odex your brand new rom, without any modification***
after flashing your rom, folow this steps
1. download app
2. instal and run
3. grant permision with superuser
4. confirm and wait till the odexing completes (it will reboot and you need to wait 20 min max)
5. thats it!!!!!
P.S.!!! If you dont like it or you think there is no a positive efects, simple reflash your rom
thank you for your time, see you next time
on a thread somewhere, i read that we couldnt apply themes on odexed rom. is that true?

i install the rom for the first time, i found it bit laggy. then reinstall it for second time (i wipe data-cache part-dalvik cache-battery stats before and after), everything s smooth.
Hmm i have a question .. if you odex the rom it creates an odex file for each app so this means that the rom size is incremented?? or the odex file save espace in the dalvik-cache partition?

whats so hard to think about partial odexing ?
in themes, generally phone, systemUI and contacts are themed..so remove them from rom and odex ur rom..after odexing simply put back ur files..u can do that for any system app..
same goes for the framework folder
thanks for sharing guys.
i've partially odexed my rom. i removed these apps first: contacts, mms, phone, settings and systemui, before odexing. everything went well, and it is able to change the theme.

That exactly what is partial odexing but don't keep too many apps deodexed then the point of odexing in the first place would be lost and actually partially odexing reduces stability .
So if theming is not your cup of tea just odex all and enjoy

You might wanna download root explorer or some other app that has a function for root access.
1. Open up my ROM using WinRAR
2. Go to /system/app, then pull SamsungCamera.apk from it and copy it to your phone.
3. Now open up root explorer (or whatever) navigate to /sdcard and copy SamsungCamera.apk to your /system/app directory
4. Reboot, you're done.

Benz .. I'm currently using your ROM, but there is a little problem on camera. And this problem I found was on the other ROM (stock ROM too) that is a yellowish color, especially when minimal light. Do you have a solution to this problem Benz?
This time to get the camera that really white, I enabled assistive light before turn on camera app but too inefficient Benz .. Tks in advance Benz..

Well that's perfectly normal, you can change "colors" by going to Settings (in the camera app) and selecting Scene Mode.
