Hello.I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i with an AceCream Rom.I have some problems while trying to play Jetpack Joyride , or Rail Rush, or Agent Dash.It crashes every time I try to load a game.I installed them via .apk.I have to mention I installed the Armv6 version.Please help,
Firstly check the ongoing cpu processes.. force stop them!!
Try rooting your phone and installing chainfire 3d because basic roms don't support high end games!!

Hello,
my phone freezes many times when I play games like:
- Blood and Glory, Quell, GTA3 and others.
Sound and screen freezes totally and I need to restart my phone.
I'm using GamerzRom v6.3 with Semaphore 2.50bm.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

You can install Chainfire3D and try the different driver available (nvidia driver work fine).
as far as my view..... its may be a ROM related problem....... when i was in STOCK GB i was able to play all the game without any freezes but now in ICSSGS many games freezes....... so my advice is to try another ROM

Flash not-so-overclocked kernel if you have oc-kernel. If you don't It's because crappy CPU and you should overclock more

I believe it's a kernel problem, some problem with cpu or overclocking settings. This rom is called 'gamerzrom' and it was made for gaming, so..
I lowered some voltage settings and changed governor to smartass2 and phone seems more stable. If it fails I will try to overclock to 1,3ghz and install Chainfire3d driver.

( i try wild blood + modern combat 3 ...) and it run OK ..

What is the benefit of increase SD-card reading speed ??
Mine works flawlessly though.
It could be that ur sd card is full of apps and accounts!
Do a full wipe and reflash the rom.
Also try to use v1.0.
More sdcard speed wont help much in games, though ur browsing will be faster!

I.m running GTA 3 on i9001 ...and at the begining the game lag like hell ...at lowest seting done whith XDA GTA 3 apk:
this is what i did : i instal a clean rom ,whipe everythin even the sd card...i stop acount sincronised i change in the build.prop the VM heapsize to 128mb and now i am playng it at hie rezolution whit all efect on it lags a litel sometime but at list is runnig smother at hie grafic setings
the version i am usin is 1.0 you gpu PowerVR is faster then my andreno 205 it shodent lag your games....your cpu is runing to many apps

I have problem when i want to open any 3d games such as Temple run 2, subway surfer and other 3d games. For example, when I open temple run 2, it says (The application Temple Run 2(process com.imangi.templerun2) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again). I also have installed chainfire but the app could not solve my problem. Is there any solution to solve this problem.

I read somwhere (I can't tell where exactly) that Chainfire3D works only with 1GHz or higher devices only.
I'm not sure if that's true but I wasn't able to run it on my SGA either.
You sure if you have S5830? Your signature says your phone is clocked at 832MHz which is the clock speed of S5830i.
On S5830 the games run well but on S5830i the games crash after starting!

I don't know about that. But when I reboot my phone, the model of the device is galaxy ace gt-s5830 not gt-s5830i.
Maybe i wrote the wrong information about my device.
If You're not sure check it.
Go to Menu --> Settings --> About Phone .
Chceck what is in MODEL NUMBER.
Is it S5830 or S5830i maybe ?
You need to get the armv6 version, games like that are armv7

Temple run 2 for armv6. I haven't tried it yet.
I think its about clocking
Under Clock your phone, your phone is over-clocked so thats why the games are crashing....also can be a rom problem....change your rom if the app dosent open at all

Temple run 2 works good in wp7 remix
I'm using Cm 10.1 by OldDroid on my samsung galaxy ace S5830 no major issues 3g,wifi,bluetooth,call,sms all working but have a small issue Whenever i try to link new app to Link2sd...after a few mins it gives me a msg saying “unfortunately ... app has been stopped”, this then starts for all other apps too which where already linked, then i have to restart my Ace then everything works but with internal memory very low..i mean my apps hardly get linked to second partition of my sd after restart. why does it happen i mean why can’t i link my apps to Link2sd in this rom,in other Custom/stock roms it works i tried this in (Cm 7.2 stable) & in Stock (2.3.6 DDKQ8) there it works without any problems, i really like this rom bcoz its really fast and with no major bugs apart from this one, does anybody has soln, so that i can link my apps to sd using Link2sd on this rom ,bcozz i dont want to restart my ace again and again.
