it is design for hd2 specially. the keyboard cannot be taken out n use mini usb to charge
i think this will be super for my leo!!
however i still get a hold on it because
1. its a bit heavy when i put my leo inside
2. the leather case is very old fashion
3. it is a bit expensive @hkd400
i hope more manufacturer will use this idea to make more similar product

Closest I found so far:

'Ultra-slim Credit Card-Sized Bluetooth Keyboard
"Similar to the Freedom Mini Bluetooth keyboard, this Freedom Slim keyboard lets you add qwerty input to non-qwerty phones—the iPhone, perhaps?
The keyboard itself has Moto RAZR-ish design, including blue or orange backlight and magnetic pads to go with its included case. It's good for 4 hours of use and 100 hours standby and can be recharged via mini USB. May not be useful for most people, but great for those who do a lot of texting." Via Gizmodo.

I love the idea of the keyboard intergrated into the case. Well done to KDenilson for finding the link. I've e-mailed the company for cost/ordering info. I'll post the info once I hear back if someone hasn't already done so.

this case/keyboard combo would be great. I'm very interested in this. Let us know if you get a reply back about ordering information. I'm already missing my touch pro qwerty, but love the screen size on this hd2. this case, keyboard combo would be the perfect solution. I just hope it won't hurt battery life too much.
Cool idea. Reminds me of my old Athena with the magnetic keyboard.
So I've decided to make one thread for All HD2 Accessories.
The idea is for users to list or suggest some of the best accessories you've owned and used during your time with your HTC and give a brief recommendation.
Car chargers, cases, screen protectors etc.
If an existing thread of this nature already exists - I apologize, my intention was not to create another needless one.
Please just simply re-direct me to it by the link of the preexisting one and close off this one - No hard feelings...
I think it's a better idea for a thread than the stickied film protector that sucks.
Anyway, my recommendation is the Otterbox Defender Case

Same. I'm pretty tall so the size doesn't bother me at all. If I were tiny then I could imagine the extra weight might be annoying, but I enjoy having the ability to clip it quickly to the holster. I'm also now really fast at removing it from the case in order to get to the microSD card to load up android builds directly to the card.
PS3 Controller, better and cheaper then most bluetooth pads.
In car holder, I use a cheap chinese one works fine.
THB bury bluetooth connection / HUD, good in car, read your messages/call lists/make calls/contacts ect.
here is my suggestion...
I got the first Hard Gel-case that was available and did not quite like it because it was not really perfect fit. Than at one occasion I've read I think here at XDA a post that was pointing towards this case (pics attached along with ebay item number) that was really good good fit for tmobile US HD2s ... and - ordered, and have it since... the best fit so far and serves me well.
ebay item number is: 330485183615
Hi,
Would you kind forumers give me some good suggestions on possible physical keyboard accessories that fits the HTC HD2 on an Android ROM?
I have been looking at a few and am still looking. I bought an old Freedom Pro Keyboard and found it a bit unstable to use (keys not registering certain presses). So please recommend what you are using if possible. Thank you!
My phone never leaves it's £3.99 Wallet home!
I'm already on my second one (I decided to replace it after six months as it was getting tatty, and at this price I can't complain). What's great is that it serves my need as a wallet, keeps all my valuables together, adds little bulk to the device (in the sense that it's also your wallet ), and my phone looks as good as new despite my occasional clumsy droppage. Definitely a must-have for me.
While on eBay I just saw a smarter one for £9,99 which I'm a little tempted by...
My DREAM accessory would be a genuine, larger-capacity, same physical-size battery, ah but we can only dream...
So after watching a couple reviews, I'm liking the otterbox defender case and I'm giving it some consideration... Just thought I drop a line, see if any feedback is given on this (positive or negative)
1. mugen 2600 mAh extended battery (must have...GET ONE !!!)
2. skull candy ear buds nice and loud for 13 bucks on sale!
3. 2 16gb's + 1 8gb for music
4. zagg screen protector
5. when not using the extended battery i use a thin rubberized 1 piece hard case mine is actually navy blue not black
Otterbox Defender..a must have for my work. very tough but makes the screen a little less sensitive, a small price to pay for good protection, i wish it was a little more dust and waterproof though.
HTC Oem flip case simple, cheap and works well
Desk Genie Non-Slip Charging Desk Stand..brilliant love this stand, again cheap but works well, bought this for my TP2 and still using it
Vikuiti (TM) DQC-160 best screen protector ive ever used, easy to install, would buy another if ever i needed to but 6 months and so far i dont!
Andida "1600" battery, so cheap i dont care if its 1200, good enough for a spare.
Motorola HT820 Bluetooth headphones...Old school but work flawlessly
IO Play bluetooth music streaming car kit...got mine for £60, pairs first time evertime, good voice quality and full A2DP, which is more than ive heard said for more expensive alternatives of the feathery kind!
HTC Car holder i got free with my TP2..tight but just fits
If i didnt really need to use the Defender everyday, I would have bought and extended battery, probably the offical one, but hey...
I'm looking for a soft rubber case like the case I have for my i900 Omnia.
I've just ordered an HD2 and I find this sort of case is ideal for satnav because I change cars a lot and I can plug the charger in and the phone lies flat on top of the dash without sliding off.
I haven't got the time or space to carry a proper cradle, but this works just fine.
It's made of soft, stretchy rubber a bit like the inner tube out of a tyre, with some texturing on the back which helps it grip - does anyone know what I am trying to describe?
my pocket.
^ What he said + Vikuiti (TM) screen protector.
I know I'm going to regret asking this but who or what is "my pocket" apart from the bleeding obvious?
Music Bluetooth headset
My recommendation is Bluetooth music headset ''MW600'' from Sony ericsson.
Its also been called or well it is a officially accesiore for the Sony ericsson Aino.
Cant remember and find the exact typenumber that the MW600 have for the Aino, so its has 2 type numbers.

You can use the PS3 controller with HD2? Is it possible to use another bluetooth/wireless controllers on this device?
I'd be glad if anyone could tell me.

1. OtterBox Defender (built in screen protector removed as below far better) £30
2. Vikuiti™ screen protector ADQC27 (Same as DQC160, but now anti-reflective too) £10
3. A couple of cheap spare batteries (never had problems with them myself) £3ea
4. Mains USB/Battery charger (replaces the HTC one and adds spare battery charging functionality) £3
5. Retractable Mini-USB cable (great for travelling when combined with above) £2
6. Komputerbay MicroSDHC 16GB Class 6 £30
7. PS3 Controller to work with FPSECE (PS1 Emulator) via CobaltContoller £30
£115 of accessories... blimey... it adds up!
I got tired of standing my tablet between my monitor and a stapler so I went looking for a stand. I just got the Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand from amazon and it works great. It can be used in either portrait or landscape and it wasn't too expensive. It looks great on my work desk!

Thats a great idea! I have the very same issue while trying to play my emulators. Love this! Thanks for sharing!
Stand for A7
Hi All,
I've looked at a number of stands for my A7, but ended up using an old camera tripod I had, and it turned out be be great idea!
the Joby GorillaPod is a flexible mini tripod for cameras, but I just molded mine to look like a stand (bent the front 2 legs upward to hold in place), and I couldn't be happier. The best thing is you can adjust the back leg to fit whatever viewing angle suits your needs.
This is a link to Amazon for around $13.99, basically same price as a regular stand (that isn't flexible), but you can probably find one for a little cheaper even and they come in all sorts of colors.
http://www.amazon.com/Joby-GP1-D1EN-Gorillapod-Flexible-Tripod/dp/B000EVSLRO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1298492773&sr=8-2
Hope you find this helpful!
I also ordered this on your advice and must say this was a excellent find.
Thanks for the info. I love mine it works perfect and for a great price.
You are welcomed!

Does the keyboard work with the A7 as I understand some of them don't work properly?
How is the quality of these cases and keyboard? Thanks.
Looks nice would get one
Hello all,
I've been looking for a very specific case, with no success, i thought that maybe here I'll get some help.
the case i want is something similar to the TranSleeve Dual.
The main idea that I want to be be able to connect the dock with no issue, and work with the same case with and without the dock.
since i couldn't find anything like this - if someone found something similar or maybe a product that he thinks will be a good alternative, i'm open to suggestions.
Thank you!
I'd like a nice leather case that works well WITHOUT the dock. I don't have the dock and don't want the dock. I have a great Caseen leather case that was for my TF700 but I smashed the screen on that tablet and can't get the part to fix it. The case goes on the new TF701 just fine but the buttons and speaker are in different places which makes it far from ideal. The new version of the Caseen case seems to be designed for use with the dock.

Thanks for the kind words . Actually our PERFECTO PRO case works with or without the dock. Its been stitched in a way where it stays slim in only-tablet mode. The buttons and speakers have been updated so it should be great for you. New leather as well!

That kind I find is not too bad. Looks cool. I don't know about this specific one though. Cheap. Hipstreet I think is the brand. Something to look at anyway.

Based on this (and the awesome 50% off Web launch offer) I ordered the Caseen leather case. It's great! It fits perfectly, looks good, is real leather, and the power and volume buttons are now easy to access. It also has a cutout that makes my "home" button easily accessible. The case from my TF700 just wasn't right for this new tablet. The new case is pretty much perfect.

Yeah it was a long time in the making for this TF701T case, but definitely worth it!
Enjoy!
If only Caseen does another promo, I'd buy from them. Currently searching for alternatives.

Bummer. They just did a 50% off storewide for Father's Day sale. Guess you missed that one.
I did. Found a caseen on ebay though which is cheaper than on the caseen website though so I guess that's a consolation.

Hello! There are some exclusives on Amazon found searching "Perfecto Pro": http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias=electronics&field-keywords=perfecto pro
Unfortunately we do not have any left in our warehouse only Amazon's.
I think I'm going to go for this one:
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/prod...spx?path=1960cc62d3410b2fc845d756779cb99den02
I'm only guessing it will fit a tf701t (Not too sure maybe someone knows). I have a hipstreet brand and it has decayed. Looks too be a fair price at under $20.
But it was second hand and different then this one. Does not have those things on the side. Actually it is so decayed it flew out of the case onto the floor and landed flat face down on the wooden floor. It made a loud noise when it landed. I thought for sure it was smoked.
I picked it up and and was partially outside its shell. I just snapped it back in. Not a scratch. I hope it is fine. Seems to be.
As it has just barely passed the sniff test I will have to get a decent case. After this happened I was looking at BobJ Gear but it doesn't look like they have anything suitable.
Edit: Actually I just checked the sticker inside the case. This will likely fit it. Made for the same model. ME301CAS2-BK.
But I'm still looking as well.
Edit: Here's an identical thing with PREMIUM LEATHER instead.
http://www.amazon.ca/Premium-Leathe...8&qid=1417872766&sr=1-10&keywords=me301t+case
Note the different in price and design of the similar tf701 version. One less set of holes for the speaker. I think ill go for extra holes and premium leather.
http://www.amazon.ca/Premium-Leathe...F8&qid=1417872630&sr=8-27&keywords=tf701+case
Edit: I bought the premium leather case me301. Not recommended compared to the hipstreet brand because the design is inferior although it fits tightly and snug to the tf701. The only problem is you have to pop it out to stand it up.
I’ve been looking for the official Sony keyboard dock but one version of it is apparently discontinued, while the new version is very hard to find. I found some Japanese eBay sellers and a French version. Both were quite expensive too..more than twice the cost of this Logitech. So i decided to give it a try and so far I’m pretty satisfied.
The keyboard layout itself is very good. I’m used to typing on a Lenovo laptop, but haven’t had any issues yet. The keys are large enough (i have fairly large hands) with good tacticle feedback (although a bit noisy). The buttons are all in the familiar areas, and no surprises which may make you press the wrong one by mistake. Hotkeys on the top which go back to home screen, multitasking, going back, music controls, volume and shutting off the screen. Alt + tab also works for multitasking.
Build quality is okay without being great. It’s all plastic but seems durable enough. It has a great weight to it, which makes it seem more well made and solid. The battery cover seems a little flimsy, but you shouldn’t have to open it very often anyway.
Batteries are 2 AAA ones, would have preferred USB charging. But apparantly they’re supposed to last 2 years, so shouldn’t have to worry about that
Bluetooth pairing is very fast and easy, and haven’t had any issues with latency or losing the connection. It connects fast after you enable/disable BT and after a restart too.
The Z2 sits in the small groove at the front, where it’s rubberized inside for grip and avoiding scratches. Without any cover it sits perfectly and very stable. I’m using the SCR12 cover however, and it can still fit if you expand the cover, as shown on the picture. An added benefit of using it with the cover is that you can adjust the angle a bit, which is not possible using the tablet alone. I tried pushing the tablet quite hard and it fits in there solidly. No chance of falling out at all!
Cons: It’s on the heavy side (probably to keep the tablet stable). Also the keys make more noise than I’d prefer. I have the black version, which has a funky looking green line, where the tablet sits (might not be for everyone ) The on/off switch is on the back, which seems kinda stupid, since you may hit some keys while turning it around.
Pros: Built-in dock to sit the tablet, great keyboard layout and keys. BT works perfectly. Much lower price than the official Sony keyboard (if you can even get your hands on it). Long battery life.

Hey thanks for the feedback !
I once ordered K480 thinking it would be the perfect keyboard but ended up sending it back to amazon because in the meantime I got a sweat deal on an excellent Belkin keyboard.
Il always wondered if the Z2 Tablet fitted the K480 as it seemed to be too large following the keyboard's specs sheet but it seems that it fit just fine !
I would definitely recommend this keyboard based on its reviews.

Cheers, hopefully someone else will also find it useful I realize I'm a bit late to the Z2 party, but I got a good deal on it a few months ago and I've been quite satisfied so far. Even though the new Z4 looks cool too
Which Belkin model did you get?
Z4 looks cool but really not worth the upgrade...especially since the keyboard isn't that great from the reviews I've read.
That's the Belkin : http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00939NTAW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
It was kind of the expensive (60 to 80€) but I got a great deal (30€). It's really good as it is Android-oriented, with specific shortcuts and it's pretty much compatible with any kind of tablet in terms of form factor.
