New Site im building, need Moderators..

Im building a new site. need some people to help me make it grow. Looking for some moderators to help me build this up. This will grow, but just need content. anyone interested please PM Me

I'm always up for new things. What is your site going to bring to the growing field of tech sites to make it unique and stand out?

One thing I want to do is in my forum have a developers section. Each dev can have there own section of the forum as a moderator. something like this:
Devlepoers:
____Dev1
________Version 1 app
________Version 2 app
____Dev2
____Dev3
That way, if you like a dev who doesn't have a site, you can just jump on the forum and go to the dev section and see everything they have created. Little better then sifting threw tons of pages looking for the newest ver of something, or maybe just want to see what else they have developed.
it also has a one spot access for devs to see what other dev have made and maybe incorporate into a rom ect.

Im going to see what people have posted and how interested they are. Then go from there.

Desire s has ubuntu phone support but what about us?!!!

guys i was checking the ubuntu phone page fro workin devices and i saw the desire s among them but not our beloved phone so shouldn't we do something about it

One general rule is to never request things (unless its like a mod for a ROM). Its cuz building such takes time and patching bugs takes even more time. And the dev might not have that much time to do such a thing... plus ubuntu is still in its developer stages...

I don't think so that the forum stops anyone from posting requests.. if everyone was a developer, then we would be having a million ROMs.. as users, we can post ideas.. if the dev team thinks it can be picked up, it is fine.. else it remains an idea...

No i didnt mean Forum rule. I just meant general rule of respect. Like how you shouldnt ask for things, u should just be happy with what u have

hey man i was merely saying that we should do something for ubuntu support and by "we" i meant every one of us who can contribute with this and this is only a thread to gather ideas not to request any thing

Useless. Ubuntu hasn't full functionality at the time. You even can't connect WiFi. Wait till its released.

If anyone who doesnt know about FAUX, just know he's a damn genius, and he make amazing Kernel for Nexus 4 and other devices.

i think doomlord is doing fine

I've been a fan of his kernels on all my devices, shame he doesn't have an XZ.

Faux has made some very nice features for Qualcomm devices such as Turbo Boost, Snake Charmer and his own custom hotplug driver. I think Doom is too busy to port these features.
Also it would be nice to have someone working on AOSP kernels.
Hopefully with the release of the T-Mobile US XZ and if course the Google Edition we'll see more devs.

Porting Sony Xperia z rom

Would any dev be interested in porting over the xperia rom from Sony? I got $100 for a fully ported, and stable xperia rom. Any takers?

I don't think the bounty will help. .if someone wants to do.it, they will. If someone doesn't want to do it, its a lot of work involved for $100..very under paid work.

All of this free work being done on XDA, lol. And you think a bounty won't help? You sleep as f.

Well i dont think that 100$ is enough IF you spend lets say- 50+hours on a port. But thats just my opinion.

The work done for free is done by people who enjoy it. They do it because they want to. If someone wants to do it, they will.
If someone doesn't want to do it, a bounty of $100 doesn't come anywhere close to being a big enough incentive for the amount of time and effort it will take.
