HI,
This problem starts about one day after the installation of the rom.
It changes it's settings without any reboot.
It the sound, keyboard, vibrant settings be the only settings changed it would not be a problem but that's not all.
The icon space for the status bar on the left from WiFi, Signal, bater etc is not showing any staff.
The middle button is not working at all.
The sound for the incoming messages and notifications is not working.
There is no notification for the incoming calls
After a hard reset the phone works fine for a noter 30 hours and "crashes" again.
Can this problem by in any way repaired ?
I've been using C-RoM Mix v6 since the 1st day of its release and I'm not experiencing any of the problems you mentioned. I suggest you re-flash the Rom with full wipe plus format /system. If you came from GB, it is recommended to flash a CM9 ICS first before C-RoM to avoid any post-installation problems.

Hi, I was using C-ROM Bean before(starting from 2.0)and I newer had this problem. Each time I'm installing a new version, I do it from GB>CM10>C-Rom. Each step is followed by a factory format and data and cache wipe.
I've change the Bean(in 2.4 ver.) version to Mix(6.0), because of the a gps problem.
Could this be because of the CM10(nightly version) I'm installing before the C-Rom ?
Yes that might be the cause of your trouble. The recommended way is to flash CM9 before C-RoM. I suggest you re-flash as recommended.

this problem is found since i flashed ics rom
i used to be rocket rom user, everything works great with r rom v22
then i started to use ics, also started to face the problem
the first ics rom i flashed is midtone2.0, everything is fine but the tethering
when data is in use, the tethering will turn off automatically and immediatly each time i turn it on.
however, when i turn off data...tethering runs normally, but it s useless as no network function...
then i reinstall the rom, but nothing changes
few days after i flashed the team rokcket rom, thought i could solve this issue
however it is still the same
then i restored the rocket rom, then the tethering works fine again with data in use
i repeated flashing ics and restoring and wiping and blah blah blah...nothing takes effect
team rocket rom: same problem
midtone2.0 :same problem
chain fire ics repack: same problem
i've go through a lot of threads but didnt find a solution...anyone got an idea?
sorry for my poor eng

All the ROMs u have tried with is based on Chinese leak i9220. So still the ROM is in Beta Stage and need to fix lot of bugs in it. you should wait for proper N7000 leak which is going to be out in next few days.
yes...but just feel so strange as it seems like i'm the only one facing this issue...
i 'll will try other ics leak from other countries then, hope it helps

Also, does anyone have a problem with tethering via usb?
I have some serious issues with my (technically not mine, my brothers but whatever) samsung galaxy s i9000. I am looking for an ICS rom that is so stable that it never crashes or suffer the stupid datafix problem (where it says the memory is full) I have tried CM9 stable (useless) with the datafix provided here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1665742 and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1777444
I can't sit everyday and reflash new roms for him. I need an stable for without any issues (read datafix issue making the phone crash, slow and FC) I have also tried CM9 with semaphore kernel, still the same problem.
So who has got the solution? Is there any solution to this?
Been on SlimIcs for 2 months(?) Now without any problems since. Try it out, just do an as clean install possible
Try ICS333 +data fix included in the instructions, 3months with no problem at all

some times it auto shutdown ,it happens 2 times today, plz help me ,what the reason, my base band version is 2.3.4
Please check the development thread, this is a known issue.
Strangely, reverting to RC2 doesn't fix it any more for me, but a clean install of RC2 would probably do the trick. Personally I don't want to do that because of the hassle of reinstalling everything, but if you've only just installed RC4, you should consider it.
Have you tried changing your previous Stock ROM to Arco's current baseband.
Anyway by now I think there is a RC5 version available with a minor bug fixes.

First of all - I made it, I just completed overcome guide and got Overcome 7 Series v4.1.0 and CWM Recovery - It's ok, but my goal is to get ICS/JB or stable but pimped GB rom.
Device: Samsung Galaxy P-1000 EU, from polish orange carrier with 3G modem.
Recovery: Overcome CWM 5.1.2.6
I tried to install [ROM][CM10][JB][4.1.2][SGT7][P1000/N/L][PDroid][20121127] but just messed up with CWM and had to re-stock tab again.
What I need - because it is for my uncle:
- stable, smooth good for daily using
- working 3G, Wifi, Wifi/USB Tether, Camera & Camcorder, Bluetooth
- no major issues like battery drain or too many soft reboots.
- PL Language
I prefer JB/ICS roms but pimped GB also will be cool.
Thanks
CM10 isn't messing up your tab.
You just have to flash it 3 times coming from GB ROM.
The final round should be the one that is flashing "system" and should take the longest.

What do You mean by saying "flash it 3 times"? Which ROM should I use?
The one you quoted, by alroger.
Flash 3 times, means you choose to install zip from sdcard or external SD card, OK it, and when finish repeat again, and again.
While doubt it please read the output, don't just assume it says finish. And don't assume it is boot looping.
First round is quick, it replace your cwm with cwm 6.
Second time it converts partition from bml to mtd.
Third round the ROM.

Thanks, so far I got first round done
Just for myself, I've been on everything from Overcome, through cm9, and cm10 and cm10.1 variants. I've just gone back to cm9 stable by humberos and so far it's been the best for me. I'm finding streaming videos better, haven't had any reboots. Having been on cm10 of some sort since they first appeared, I'm shocked how smooth and stable I'm finding cm9 and will be sticking with it.
I'm sure others will recommend something else. But for me, who is no techie and not that adept at tweeking, this has been the easiest, out of the box, no tweaking stable rom for me.
I got a CM10, everything is working. Just one issue, status bar. Sometimes the top area of app drawer, homescreen or in any app is going hmm.. under the status bar. Only reboot helps. Should I change DPI? 160 at the moment, or how in tablet mode get shortcuts to wifi/3g/tether/plane mode etc. buttons?
Ok, one more
How to change distance between rows in appdrawer? I like mixed tablet UI (160 DPI) and even a full tablet UI @120 DPI but font is too small, when I make it bigger in system preferences icons description are being cutted.
Hi,
today my phone P990 starts always going on and off after a while (in rom, in recovery always, not able to start the rom anylonger). Battery is fully charge, phone is rooted, worked since half a year without problems. Using TonyP Para Rom V12 and Pengus Kernel V120. I formatted system, have done a full wipe etc.
But after some minutes, the effect always comes up again? Battery defect? Or any other ideas?
thanks a lot
tomtom
I would suggest putting some logs on PA thread, if you are using paranoid android. It is useful to help you.

maybe the problem you have is that you have a high OC, and try using a stable KK, not an experimental
