Just got the same message. Google, seriously? I ordered at the exact same time as everyone else and now I have to wait 3 WEEKS?!
I'm tempted to cancel my order because this is unacceptable. Don't validate orders you cannot fulfill, it's as simple as that. Sheesh.

Okay just called Google and here is the deal. If you ordered more than one then your should receive this email about back order regardless of the time that you ordered your phones. And among the people who ordered more than one, if you ordered them separately then you should be fine. So not sure what is the deal but looks like if there are multiple orders at the same time, then they are back ordered. I ordered them separately, so she said I should be fine.

Because the device turns out to be so popular, would otherwise supply problems. Unfortunately, Belgium and the Netherlands is not in the selected countries.*
Android World thinks that there's more to it. LG is according to them not to wait for a Nexus 4 with a low price. This unit would be downright compete with the LG Optimus G, a device with similar specifications. If this LG smartphone will offer a price of 500 euro or more, and then you put a Nexus 4 of say 350 euros in addition, you are quickly finished choosing. The Optimus G does have an advantage with respect to the Nexus 4, namely a 4G connection.*
It is clear that this decision of LG another blow to the mark when it comes to smartphones. The brand stood there, mainly because of the faulty software, though not good for the Android Users, and will this decision be totally lose faith in the brand. LG will all need to put the trust of the Dutch and Belgian consumers to recover.*
Now we can only hope that Google will intervene, because countries like the Netherlands and Belgium are thus very disadvantaged. Firstly, we still lack a full Google Play Store, and then Dutch and Belgians by LG also deprived of the opportunity to set the unit in a different way to buy.

Madly pissed I am, unbelievable how "arrogant LG can be", as said by someone. For all our Dutch readers my reaction on AndroidWorld:
Wat vies zeg. Eerst Nederlanders en andere inwoners van de Benelux goede hoop geven dat dit toestel, hoewel wat duurder, toch naar ons komt en net op het laatste moment voor de eerste release dit afbreken, uitermate teleurstellend. En dit alleen maar omdat LG, hoogstwaarschijnlijk, compleet handelt vanuit eigenbelang. Nu vind ik dat ze de ontwikkeling nog beter naar een merk als Panasonic hadden kunnen doorschuiven! Ik was in de eerste plaatst al niet erg onder de indruk van LG, maar nu moeten ze zoals gezegd wel iets heel moois voor elkaar krijgen om het vertrouwen in de consument te herstellen.
Dat wordt waarschijnlijk een retourtje Duitsland voor mij.

I feel you guys pain!! I live in Belgium, got through to the US order via VPN and then they cancelled my order 10 minutes later saying they won't deliver to my parents address in the US. I live 15 minutes from the border near France and should have just gone over there and tethered my Galaxy Nexus to my Nexus 7 via data network and tried to order one that way. I'm so pissed right now at Google!!!!!!
The amount of suck is.. Unbearable. I was hoping they would hit Media Markt or Fnac or whatever here in Belgium later this month. Nope

How hard is it to find someone in Germany and ask to buy via Play Store in bulk. I don't know how many maximum we can order.
Then sell it here in Benelux for, let say 389.
The only problem is warranty... I don't know how to deal with that.

This news = LG, though, if you want, you can blame google for not allowing purchases through the playstore, but seeing as how not many countries can do it, and because you'll continue having an android and use services from google, I think it'd be healthier/better to focus your hate on LG
Well, I think the post title says everything but... Here we can discuss availabity of the new Google Nexus phone at the Spanish Play Store and everything you want.
Ordered my N5 on Thursday about quarter of an hour after it went on sale. Got the shipping notification at one on Saturday morning, but nothing is showing on the UPS page yet. Other people in Spain have movement and their phones seem to be gradually moving down Europe from Holland.
Anybody else here waiting for a phone in Spain?
I suspect this might be a lonely thread!

No shops are selling it so far, but I suspect it'll be a fair bit more than getting it direct from Google.
Can you not get it sent to where you're going to be staying?

Do you think one shop would sell if before the end of the month? I don't think I will be able of sending it to the hotel because I'll be only 5 days (time is not enough I think) and as my Google Account is not based in Spain I don't have the option to buy it online.

You could try buying it through a VPN and getting it sent to the hotel before you leave Venezuela.
I ordered the 32Gb Black version on Thursday around 23.00 PM - It supposed to leave their storage the 8th, but I got today (Sunday) a mail saying that the order has been shipped :good: No tracking from UPS so far, but i hope to have it home on Tuesday a least. I live in Marbella btw.
Anyway, big improvement from Google comparing with the mess surrounding the N4 launch..

Same here! I ordered on thursday and I did not receive the shipping confirmation until yesterday (Saturday). For the moment the UPS tracking number doesnt show usable info.

Yes, still available it seems..just that the estimated shipping is between 2 to 3 weeks
I've now had the same thing on my UPS page for three days. A label has been created and there will be an update when the package is with UPS.
I emailed UPS yesterday and they said that they don't have my phone yet, but Google say it was shipped on Friday.
Seems like a few people in Spain are having the same problem.

Nope, Midnight black was limited on the 3T. It's a standard color on the OP5, and, the most popular by far
Sweden still have all editions, "Ships immediately" on everyone!
Wasn't midnight black the 64/6 edition, maybe it just isn't a seller compared to the 128/8

OnePlus store from the UK a few minutes ago. UK phones are shipped from the same warehouse in Poland as for the rest of Europe so this is not a UK thing I don't think.
I think all speculation of a 5T is unfounded..... indeed speculation is all it is.
If I understood correctly the 3T was launched last year because of the need to switch to the 821 from 820 hence a new phone but it has been confirmed here (XDA) that there will be no 836 to succeed the 835 thus no reason for a 5T.

Really strange, I didn't know UK phones are shipped from the same warehouse, that makes it even harder to explain why it is unavailable through the rest of europe.
If we consider they are really discontinuing the Midnight black, it could be possible it'll be replaced with a special limited edition version that'll be announced on the 19th of september.
I really hope they won't bring out a 5t, they should stick with yearly upgrades.

I know there won't be a 836. But who knows, maybe they see waterproofing and an upgraded screen as a good reason for a 5t.

no need to worry, there's no Snapdragon 836 so if tey do release a 5T it will prob have a QHD screen and minor performance gap. And thats a BIG IF as OnePlus were universally slated last year with the 3T
they probably won't make a 5T: no SD836, no reason to upgrade selfie cam like on 3T and no battery technology improvements to fit a bigger battery in the same body so I highly doubt they will make it. Also, if they won't sell midnight black 128gb op5 will mine raise in value ?
my midnight black 5 just delivered now, and in the USA all 4 models are available to ship. Nothing to worry for now. But it's OnePlus, anything can happen.
