Many people are there who want to do something in this great site but can't...... i believe many doesn't have a device listed in these forums..... why don't you people allow users to create devices ..... i mean if you people could let some people suggest devices which may not be popular but can be developed..... people may participate ..... i believe there are millions of members on this site...... so maybe if you could allow to add new devices many people would be benefited and aubviously more would want to join XDA.... please let users add devices.....
My idea is that they would message or post or suggest new devices in this thread and you would see if it is approvable and add it to the forum..... if it has some problem you may tell the user why you have not created the device and he would surely listen.....
I myself am a victim of this problem and i'm just asking........:crying:
so please take this seriously and please go through once......
:fingers-crossed:
if you did not like my post then please give some reply ...... i would be eagerly waiting for it.............
:fingers-crossed:
This is simply not an option as we'd then be overcrowded with low end devices that don't have enough development behind them to justify their own forum.
If you'd like to request a new forum then there's a specific thread for that purpose in the About XDA section.

[Mod Edit: The Previous Thread by Dutty was removed by request, because of it's sensitive WM 6.5 content, unfortunatly this sometimes has to happen and is not in particular because the developer or XDA wants to keep information away from the Public. I hope, that without going into to much detail that we can count on the understanding of you al. If there are questions regarding Removed threads please don't hesitate to ask a Mod directly At The Moment this is being investigated.
Please take into account a few days before a Response will be available. Thanks for all your understanding and patience]

There are some strange things.
The first: why that thread was closed?? On that thread there were interesting infos usefull for many people here. So, WHY??
Second: why this morning that thread disappeared completely??
Third: why no one seems to have those rom dumps from Rhodium and Topaz??
Only one person seems to have got those dumps, it's clear reading the thread.
SO, WHY NO ONE HAS SHARED THE DUMPs???
THOSE ARE PERHAPS USELESS FOR THIS COMMUNITY????
In my opinion this is REALLY STRANGE, and I can't understand the points above.
Is this a community to develop something together or not??
SO, WHY NOT SHARE THOSE SOURCES(I REPEAT, SOURCES!!)??? Those are usefull for all the community!!! OR I'M WRONG??!?!?!?!?
Please, someone tell me that I'm wrong or let me know what's the spirit of xda-developers!
make a complaint to admin of this site
Uh! Oh!!!
I can't believe it. I hope that some one could explane me (us) what is it? I couldn't believe such a behaviour on this forum. Never seen before and I am there since so many time!!!
About the sharing: where did the spirit of this forum go???
It is obvious you did not even bother to ask any moderator or the admin before starting this thread. Please follow those procedures before you start a new thread accusing a mod of being sneaky and underhanded. This thread is closed as it will not lead to anything productive. We will look into it.
In the future please afford everyone the respect of actually looking into a matter before publicly accusing people of anything.
Banned Luana P because it's an SOCK-puppet account (reg. IP matches the IP of another user).
This account has been opend by another member to accuse other people and keep the "master" safe.
I notice a lot of new members joining this fantastic website, great the more members the better the knowledge pool.
Sadly I note that a lot of these new members are all asking the same questions, such as:
Which ROM is best
How do I install cab files
Whats the best software
Tweaks that work for
I like many other members spend a considerable amount of time just gleaning the info we need for our particular device and am grateful for the time spent by the developers who do the hard work.
Thanks to you all
However, the noobs want it all served on a plate!!
I have a suggestion, when a newly registered member of the group joins they are limited only to post in stickies for a the first 20 or so posts. Then, hopefully they would have gleaned the info wanted from those areas before being let loose in the wild.
Just a suggestion

Hello!
First off, allow me to welcome both new and existing members to the Forums. These look to be exciting products, and I am really hoping to see a great community spring up here. As we like to do with a new forum, we like to introduce ourselves. Of course, as noted, the moderating team assigned to the forum include:
Team Leader/Senior Moderator @Moscow Desire
Forum Moderators @Siberian Tiger,@chrisd1a1, @Divine_Madcat @zacthespack
Personally, i am an avid tablet user, and am currently using both an HP Touchpad and Nexus 7 (2013), as well as a Samsung S4. Please make no mistake, while we all may not be owners of this specific device, it is our goal to be a strong part of the community, and i hope you will allow us this opportunity. I, like the other moderators, have an open door policy, and i welcome anyone to contact myself (or other staff members) to contact us if you have any concerns or questions about the forums (but please direct device specific questions to the Q&A forum).
With that said, i would like to take a moment to reiterate the overall guidelines of the forum, in the hope to prevent issues down the line...
1. Posting in the Development Forum. Creating new threads in the Dev Forum is restricted to development work; this may include Kernels, Root tools, ROMS, and other device developments. If you have a question about a ROM or the device, please post in the Q&A forum, so that the question may be answered correctly.
2. Arguments and Flaming. This really speaks for itself, but bears saying again. Be respectful, and be a community; work together and make this a place that is welcoming to everyone, new and old. If an argument starts, DO NOT participate in it. You have a "Report Post" button. Use it. Let the Mod's take care of it. You are not moderators, so please don't act like it. You don't make anything better by participating, and you may find yourself in trouble as well.
3. Please take a moment to search before posting; forums for popular devices can get hectic, and it is only made worse by having 5 different threads on the same topic. While mistakes happen, we need everyone's help to make sure that the boards are readable and usable for everyone. Odds are, if you have a problem, you are not the first person to have had the issue; you may very well find the solution already discussed. If a thread covering your topic is already there, please keep the discussion in that thread.
4. We are all here to help the users, and to mainly help continue the development of the devices. This is a Development site, not Facebook or other social networking sites. While some off topic banter is to be expected, please keep off topic conversations in the appropriate area; this is especially true for development threads. Too much OT makes threads hard to use for people with real issues/suggestions/questions
