Have you looked under settings > display ?
Did you do full wipe before coming to RRv3 ? along with formatting /system ? If not I suggest to do that, If you did, try reflashing the ROM without wiping

Nah, fail.....

Staxx is dangerous. it crashes like crazy. Flash it but keep abyss kernel and other ROM in sd card handy just in case. Try both and share your experience. All the best.and do not restore back up in either.go ahead.

Absolutely nothing wrong. I just went looking for my movie folder on my sd card. Nothing other then this. staxx crashed suddenly. What ever brief movement I spent on staxx I enjoyed it but I couldn't dare try it again at least not until I find out what I did wrong. Have you tried to access files on sd card through ol file manger that comes with this wrong. In the recovery I tried 'report error' option and the error was some thing like PATH TO SD CARD. Any ways I am happy you are enjoying it. Hopefully I will try once my confidence in the ROM is back.

Crash in this case means my note suddenly slipped into boot animation screen of paranoid and hung there for a very long long time. I had to shut down the phone by removing battery after rebooting. .. again I was struck. ..then I rebooted to recovery installed staxx again but I never got passed the boot screen. This is what I meant when I said staxx crashed.

No problems here... on 4.1.2 LSC. it's called Allshare Play and you must have wifi switched on for it to work.
If that still doesn't work there might be something corrupted in your ROM, you may need to restore factory settings or reflash the ROM.

[Q] Installing jelly bean on S Advance

hey guys,
i just had a couple of questions regarding the upgrade of S advance to jellybean via odin..I'll appreciate any help that i can get..
1. is there any chance that i might brick the phone during the process?
2. if i do manage to flash jb successfully on my device, do i void my warranty?
3. i have read somewhere that once jb is installed,i might face some network problems and problems in video playback. are these common?
thanks in advance guys..
Rushil
1. Very small... but yes (if you install wrong firmware, have the wrong device (i9070p), disconnect during installation)
2. No, it does not increase the binary counter.
3. No
Thanks.. Just one more thing... Do i have to reset my phone to factory settings before or after the update, if at all?
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda app-developers app
It's recomended but you can skip and do that if something goes wrong.
Running jellybean now flashing process went smoothly. . Hopefully no problems occur later ...fingers crossed
Thanks a lot guys, for all the help..

Rom manager

I heard from a thread that using rom manager bricks this phone if you have a partitition and I'd bought the premium version before partitioning my sd card, just want to ask, is this true?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Why would u use that - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942957 !!!
Go on CWM, its healthier for our Ace!
It has nothing to do with having a partition or not.
It bricks the phone anyways. Better remove that app, its dangerous if you don't know what functions of it can be used safely.
Oh, so the whole thing bricks it? Why is that, also I am using cwm anyways

Mostly the motherboard i think, people reported that they had to get new a motherboard installed in order to unbrick it.
Hmm, that's confused me, I thought it would have broke it system wise. I know how to flash, root, etc, but I'm not exactly sure how they all work, but I thought that flashing just overwrit the system+os. So two questions, when you root/flash does that interact with the hardware in anyway and how?

Rom manager ... flashes new recovery ... with wrong mounting points ... making your phone useless it will be like having the light switch of your kitchen in your bed room and your bed room light switch on your attic ... know what i mean? Nothing will work !! Since the phone will change the mp to points that dont exist on your phone.
Just flash cwm from stock recovery or from odin and you'll be ok
