Flash away fellow.
Use a kernel cleaning script (check first page of glitch kernel) mount data, flash rom and join in the mintberry joy.

how do i use the kernel cleaning script ?
and what is it anyway ?
A kernel cleaning script removes all tweaks and changes added by prev kernel so as not to cause conflicts.
If you use kernel cleaner in Glitch's thread (download and flash in cwm), data should already be mounted - check mounts and storage in cwm, then flash mintberry. Job done

may be there is a chance .............
you can overclock the cyanogenmod rom version by tj style and above it
it can be oc'd by partitioning you SD card and movind dalvik cache to SD card
to partition your SD card use cwm recovery (partitioning your SD card will format it completely so before doing it just copy your data to a cloud storage service or on a computer)
after partitioning download smart boot kernel by going to this link www*mediafire*com/?ak9z1axkz19dcdp (change * with . )
go to recovery mod and install it there without partitioning it will not work also create a nandroid backup before doing it just for safety reasons
---------- Post added at 12:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:00 PM ----------
after partitioning your sdcard you will need this script to move app and cache to SD card

i'm using squadzone cm7.2 and using his 782 oc kernel..

You can over RC2 as stated here http://yagyagaire.blogspot.com/2011/11/how-to-overclock-latest-cyanogen-mod-7.html

Format your second partition to ext3 and install link2sd. Open link2sd and select the type of partition - etx3 - and automatically it reboot.
Dude, delete 05mountsd in /etc/init.d and remount link2sd
Ace GT-S5830B WITH CM 7.2
Works for me.
Ace GT-S5830B WITH CM 7.2
what worked for me was formatting the partition to ext3 primary, not worked with ext2 neither with ext4, dont know if the problem was the partition type or the tool for partitioning, ext2 and ext4 formatted with CWM, ext3 with minitool partition wizard
i have cm7 slim on galaxy mini s5570
sorry for reviving old posts but i had this problem today and googling i ended here
Yes Same here. Use ext4 but select ext3 on link2sd

You can try PSN mod kernel which gives you more internal memory, but you need to have a 2nd partition in your sdcard in ext4 format..
