Restarting issue - Nexus 7 General

Yesterday I updated to 4.2. When the battery was drained the tablet powered off and when I connected the charger it charged normally. Today it powered off and when I connected the charger the tablet wouldn't start. When finally did start it showed 15% - charging and after 5 seconds the tablet powered off, then after a while without touching it it started again and entered in this cycle of powering on and off. When it is powering off on the screen I see some green lines and dots flickering and hear a noise. I tried to hard reset with the power and volume buttons but it dosen't work.
Any ideas?

The tablet just works now, after one hour of restarting. Strange:|

Odd frozen issue

So I took my charger with me to class today because my phone was almost dead. As it was charging I began to fiddle with it ex: go on reddit . Suddenly The phone began to lag and the screen shut off. I unplugged it and began to hold down the power button.... Had it held down for about a minute and still no results. The charging light is stuck green even when off the charger and the navigation buttons are stuck on. When holding down the power button the navigation buttons would also flash as it normally does but im not getting any feedback from the device. Anyone have any solutions? I need my phone to be working asap. If there isnt any hope i may as well upgrade.
Little update: I let the battery die out and plugged it into the charger. After half hour it still wouldn't turn on. Several hours after that I found it on and running. Very strange....

Endless boot cycle, don't know if it's power or OS issue

I looked in the previous threads about non-booting but no one I could find had my issue. Bought the Nook HD+ about 4 months ago and rooted it and installed Android (not sure which version but cm11). Out of the blue, last week I pulled it out of my bag and the battery % was flipping between 1% and 31%, so I put some stuff on it via USB and then shut it down to charge. I plugged it in overnight and tried turning it on in the morning. All I was getting was the low battery picture, so I kept trying to charge it, but it wasn't charging, the power light would go to orange when I plugged it in, thena fter 3-5 seconds it would flip green and then turn off and retry. My assumption is the battery is dead, but it could be a corrupted OS now as I got it to charge long enough to get to the CM11 boot menu. But I even went out and bought a new charger and converter to rule that out and it still is stuck in the same boot sequence. I obviously can NOT charge this thing while it is off because of it's reboot loop, it can't charge. I'm not quite sure what is going on or whether it is a battery or boot issue but after I leave it for a big it freezes on the cyan picture (which is frozen on some scrambled version of it) until I turn it off.
I can't power it on enough to charge it to rule out the battery, I tried holding the power and n button for 3 seconds, letting go of the power, and then pressing it again to get into the recovery menu, but that isn't working either. And I prepared another SD card for a second flash for a corrupted OS and that didn't seem to work either.
I'm stuck here and I'm not sure what to do now to get it running again. I don't care about the data on my tablet at the moment.
Try plugging it into a PC USB port over night.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA Free mobile app
That's what I did that got it charged enough to get to try to boot, where it now shuts down. But now as it tries to boot it reboots, maybe from too much power consumption? I only had it plugged in for half hour or hour before that got it charged to the point where it boots to the logo screen. I have a feeling it is not charging because every reboot the light turns off (orange light stays on for like 5 seconds)
I will plug it in to my PC and charge it overnight and let you know what happens. It's interesting, I plug it in now and the orange charge light comes on, shows the Nook screen, then shows the low battery screen and shuts off, then the orange light turns off, but it remains plugged in... not sure if it is still charging but as I said, I will leave it overnight and see what that gets me.
No success. I can turn it on and the charging lights turns on for 5 seconds and shows the nook screen, then goes black and shows the low battery screen, then immediately shuts off and the charging light turns off and it no longer charges.
Any other suggestions? I can't seem to do anything with the Nook now.

Battery acting up

The other day my Z3 Compact drained completely, and ever since then it has been acting weird. After I drained it completely I was able to charge it fine and use it for the day, and I plugged it in at night. When I woke up, it wouldn't turn on or respond to anything I did. I tried holding the power button down for 30 seconds, holding the power button and volume up button, pressing the yellow reset button, plugging it into the computer and running the repair software, nothing would get it to work. Finally today it turned on when I plugged it into my computer, but it's still acting weird. I was unable to update it using the Sony Bridge software, and it is charging extremely slowly. The LED indicator is red, even though the phone is on now and says it's at 50% battery.
Any thoughts?

Mi5 dead,only RED LED.

So one morning I woke up and saw phone keeps rebooting(bootloop).I had breakfast then came back to pick it up,and i connected it to charger and phone was totaly dead.I tryed other cables but still same result.Only way to power it on is when I use original cable and connect it to charger/pc.Then red led turns on and display showing low battery, and led keeps blinking.Sometimes it can boot into system and works for few minutes and shuts off cuz 0%.I changed battery but everything is same,I also can go into TWRP.
**I TRIED EDL MODE/two pins or whatever and my PC is not showing Qualcom driver or anything else in relation with phone
i had same issue before, i simply just buy new cable and it working again!!
PS. Before i buy new cable i already had 3 type-c cable bot non of them working
I had the same issue an hour ago. My MI5 had ~25% charge left when I saw it shutting off, maybe I unknowingly did it. Then I decided to leave the phone in TWRP at night but in the morning it appeared to be dead. The red LED blinked only when I pressed the buttons, no turning on, fastboot or booting into TWRP was possible. When I plugged it into the charger an empty battery icon appeared with the red LED blinking continuously. After some time a new animated battery icon appeared, in the still turned off state, but this time showing the exact charge percentage (2%). It went to 3% and I turned it on with the power button.
Should be a faulty battery which needs to be replaced!

My Rog Phone 2 won't turn on

I was playing with the phone and out of nowhere it freezes, I tried to lock the screen but it did not react so I had to turn off the phone then I tried to turn it on but it did not turn on.
Thinking that the battery had run out, I left 1h charging through both ports (side and bottom) but it did not turn on the screen to charge. I left charging the phone for a whole night for several days but it won't turn on.
I tried with the help of internet guides, the volume keys + power button but did not get any response on the phone.
I also tried to connect the mobile to my pc and see if it recognizes the phone but does not emit any signal on the pc (sound or file explorer).
Hope you help me, thank you.
Im facing this right now... it was charging, 77% and puff...went off and no signal of life...
I tried all button combination, tried to charge with different cables and both usb-c ports.
when I plug the phone on the PC by the side port, it shows as qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008, on the usbview...and thats all...cant start recovery mode.
I opened it to check the motherboard, seems ok but Im not an expert nor a professional.
any suggestion? my country havent any support to the ROG series, unfortunaly.
Any update on this with your phones?
Mine is now facing the same issue.
5 days ago, Was at 92% unplugged, browsing news on chrome and suddenly freezes, restarts itself, and when the ROG logo comes up it was all pixely and looks bugged, then it shut itself down and cant turn back on since then. No response from button presses or charging. Let the battery drain for 2 days, plugged the charger in and the LED light blinks red really fast for a minute and still nothing. Let it sit on charging for a couple hours, still wont boot. When I hold Vol Down with power button for 30 secs while charging the red LED blinks once. Nothing else.
