[Q] Double Question

1.Give me a app to make my galaxy mini to run java (.jad and .jar) please !!!
2.It is possible to run Theme Chooser on Andro-IDv.3.2 and try a cm7 theme and can work ??? Has someone try this ??? Can i brick my phone ???

1. Flash the Jbed.zip zip file in recovery and reboot phone, then open your jar file with Java app.
2. You can't brick your phone with Theme Chooser. You can try it yourself. Instead of bricking, it wouldn't work or not even start.

Ask questions in General Section. Dont spam in development section.

I've been wondering abt this for a long time but was too lazy to flash to stock or anything while on cm7 just to try this.
Just try installing the t mobile theme chooser from cm7 apps...and let me know if it works...but I don't think it'll work.

I already tried using theme Chooser long time ago it does not works

What was the error exactly?
The ROM has to be modded to accept theme chooser changes I think.

It was showing installation error.
I think You are right the ROM has to be modded before installing it

Was it showing application not installed error?

Try to move Theme Chooser in system/app and install it and no error

Tried a lot to do that but the app is not installed.. Anyways it's not only the app. Also the framework should support changable icons..

Well if u sign it before installing it should not give the not installed error but even then as crazy said it won't work.

u dont need to chng ur rom fr ics look just downlad ics theme if u r using cm7
and change font to roboto and also use phoneix launcher....

Next tome try to search first

it's only my opinion, but i've tried a theme from the themes topic, and i think themes are not good enough. Try Maclaw's ICS roms, Beta 9 is coming for our mini as well

[GUIDE] How to apply HDPI themes on MDPI device

Hi,
This is a little guide of how to apply HDPI themes on your MDPI phone, requires root and its only tested on CM7 and CM9.
Im not responsible of nothing that happens to your device. Backup first.
So lets start:​
1. Install this app
2. Download the HDPI theme and install it DON'T APPLY IT.
3. Open the app and change the density from 160 to 140 and click "Save & Reboot"
It'll ask for root and click allow.
4. After reboot, go to your theme chooser and apply the HDPI theme.
Ignore the message.
5. Go to the app again and change density from 140 to 160.
6. Click "Save & Reboot".
7. Wait for end the reboot.
8. Wait
9. Wait
10. Gotcha! Now the HDPI theme is applied on your MDPI Device!

Nope, im right now using a Sense 4 theme on CM9 and its ok.

One thing though. Make sure the Theme is in the phone memory. Not the SD card

Tested with about 5 different themes, and no problems

O_O Its almost the same as this.
There's no problem with that?

I followed instructions and it applied the theme but everything started force closing especially the launcher. I can't get back to the modder to change the density, any suggestions?

Are u sure u changed the density and rebooted before applying the theme?
If yes, flash ur rom again.

Open the play store and search lcd modder. Because already installed it, there's an option like open. Open the app and reset your dpi. Hope I helped.

It works but the statusbar looks bad after i close it. Some white text remains in the statusbar.

[Q] themes on 10.1 improperly compiled error

hey, i just found out about cyanogenmod last night, got it to run and am very impressed with the system.
what i do not get to work however is themes i looked up with the theme chooser. any theme i try gives me the "theme is improperly compiled and cannot be applied" error, regardless if i use the system theme and reboot as recommended very often.
is it just me?
i tried various cobalt, hue and the1dynasty themes.
running cm-10.1-20130611-UNOFFICIAL-jena with gapps-jb-20130301-signed on a gt-s5600 (without the d).
any help is appreciated!

I am not using the latest CM10.1 release so i don't know about bugs in latest nightly
Try posting it in development forum if it is prob with Rom Thewhisp can fix it in next update

I applied a theme on the latest CM10.1 build and it worked fine. I had a problem with themes in one of the previous builds, but not anymore

i figured it out and it was my fault, sorry about that
the mini2 is using mdpi and not hdpi as i thought.
the mdpi themes work of course

flash this via cwm if you want to use all themes

Hum... Will changing the SGM2's dpi to 240 from 160 be good, as some themes are 240 only

iinstall cm10.1 theme and many dnt work with me

Same, but there is an attachments in one of the previous post I didn't read and that solved the issue.

How Fix Error "this theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied" ?

hi i have p3100 and i install CM 10.1 but when i try to apply a new theme i get this message "this theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied"

use root explore go to system/build.prop and open file build.prop by text editor and change code ro.sf.density=160 --> ro.sf.density=150 and save change.
reboot tablet and set theme an back change ro.sf.density=150 --> ro.sf.density=160.

thank u but not work for me after reboot my tablet gets stuck at boot animation !!

U wipe davil cache and cache.then re flash last cm10.1 and wait tablet few min and try chane destiny from 160 to 159,delete 160 and replace 159 ok.

Does changing the density from the beginning from 160 to 159 instead of 150 and following the same steps work? without going through the wiping and re-flashing?

I just set it to 150 and reboot and apply and change it back to 160 and reboot
