Post pictures taken from your Nexus 4! - Nexus 4 General

I'm surprised that this wasn't created yet.
Post photospheres, panoramas, and normal pictures. Be appropriate.

I'm loving the phone so far. Camera seems like a nice improvement, not the best but definitely high quality. Battery is meh

Just a few I took this afternoon..

Here's a photosphere I took a couple days ago and a tiny world version of it. It has a few mess ups.
If you want to view the photosphere, you have to download it: http://db.tt/fG8SEqPp

When Google said they worked on low light settings they weren't kidding, the camera is a huge improvement from the galaxy nexus.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium

Google is smart... they make pictures taken by camera like that so you can edit it in the gallery app

Not very artistic but here are some ribs I am smoking for Thanksgiving

Here's a near-perfectly stitched panorama! Franklin High School JROTC Warrior Battalion

Took these last night I'm happy with how the camera performs.

I took this on the weekend in Bangkok using the Pro HDR Camera app on my Note. I don't know how to resize this in the post, so just open the photo in a separate tab to the whole thing.
It's a great app if you don't have any moving objects in your frame.
And it actually does 3 separate pics at -2, 0 and +2 exposures and then combines them.
A lot of other apps have a "HDR effect" but they just use a single photo and try to add in the detail by adjusting parameters.

As a professional photographer, this camera is laughable... But I still use it for scanning QR codes, or for using apps like this... But for those times when I don't have my proper gear with me, I'll use my phone for snapshots and Instagram  Like they say, the best camera is the one you have with you.

Fake or not, that's one smart looking handset.

Even though this is a massive photoshop I just want to remind people about the Galaxy S3 rumours. There was a leaked pic which had uneven lines, and the phone wasn't even symmetrical - yet when it was actually announced it actually WAS the galaxy s3, despite the shady photos.
So keep an eye out for 'real' pictures, THEN post it here.
Look at dat specs!!!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
This same exact thing was posted yesterday - and locked. Not a credible site
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Even if it were a real phone it would be too expensive to be a nexus phone IMO.
Those specs are too good if it's coming out any time soon lol
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
do u even specs
Galaxy s4 would have ben awsome if it was that design, love it
I read an article about this picture yesterday somewhere that claimed it was a possible prototype for the bid to be the next nexus this fall but I think it is to premature to know what will be in the next nexus phone.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
16mp camera??? Really? nexus devices always get lower mp cameras. Google has also released a statement that the camera in the next nexus will be a huge leap forward in quality....but its quality should not be measured in megapixels. (ie: it'll probably be 8 or 12mp, but with a huge improvement in lens and image processing technology.) I'm personally hoping this means a possible a macros setting in the stock app!!
Dem specs (datass look)
That is a sexy phone, long live the nexus
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Looks good but 5.2 inch isn't what Google aim for. Probably 5 inch max

The ones of the dogs are in Sports mode. One from a sunnier day (with our 2 German Shepherd's) and the other from a cloudy day. Those are a little flat, but it stopped the action very well, and still made a good picture of it. The Dogwood tree and fish were in Auto mode. Hated to take a picture of such a small fish, but a cold front just rolled in today and put them off the bite. I take a LOT of fish pictures, so wanted to get my first one in on the S4 to compare to my Evo 4GLTE. Blows the doors off that phone.

Anyone got the new update yet (13300)?

Just wondered if anyone had the new update yet, and if there were any user facing changes / improvements that we could see?
I got it on one of my chromecast.

I've just actually got it too, the only thing I have noticed is that there is nothing under "Locale" in the app anymore?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
I'm noticing the 'home' screen has faster changing backgrounds and more regular moving of on screen elements to prevent screen burn, which I like as am using on a plasma tv. Background changes every ~13 secs and the chromecast name 'section' moves a bit every 4 seconds. More than before. Now back to rewatching 24 season 1...

Just rented movie played fine on 13300. Thought I read somewhere chromecast did 5.1 is this only on Netflix. All I could get was stereo on the movie I rented from Google play. It was HD movie. Picture was good though.

I got it. Now newly updated with brand new uselessness.
Got the feeling casting from chrome has been improved.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah it much smoother and audio quality is much better. But still same limitations :banghead:
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Ever since the update, I've lost the ability to cast from my phone and do anything else. When I go back to Netflix to control what's already being casted, it says it can't cast to the device.
After trying everything, I've found that power cycling the Chromecast is the reliable fix.
Maybe the next update will be better for me.
