Have you installed a custom recovery? Boot into recovery and select "factory reset" then select "whipe dalvik cache". This should get you out of the bootloop.

First of you can boot into recovery by holding the x button (On the physical keyboard) and the power button down at the same time. From here select "factory reset" this should fix your bootloop on reboot. A custom recovery allows you to use adb from recovery, make a complete backup of your device nandroid backup as well as other very useful functions. I would recommend you install Clockworkmod Recovery, to do this download ROM Manager, open ROM Manager and select flash Clockworkmod Recovery, it should say successfully flashed, then hit the reboot recovery button to reboot into recovery, you can also manually entering recovery by holding the x button on the physical keyboard and the power button at the same time. For future reference you should always flash a custom recovery such as TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) or Clockworkmod Recovery. Let me know if you still have questions .

Boot into recovery (CWM)

How i boot into CWM with HTC Wildfire?
I didn't know it, and i found nothing via google or forum search.
Help please
Thanks!
If you have already flashed ClockworkMod then you can go into it by holding down power and volume down when you boot up and selecting recovery from the menu.
If you need to flash it use unrevoked.

[Q] Won't boot to recovery after bootloader unlock

I unlocked the bootloader on my HTC One and successfully flashed CWM recovery; however, when I try to boot into recovery the HTC splash screen comes up with "Entering Recovery" for a few seconds (as it should), then the screen goes black for a second and it boots into the ROM like normal without going into Recovery.
I've seen that the general fix for this is to clear the dalvik-cache, but I can't do that without root permission, and I can't install the superuser to get root without being able to boot into the Recovery.
I have developer options enabled with USB Debugging, Fastboot is turned OFF.
I have flashed to plain CWM, touch CWM, and TWRP, all with the same results.
fastboot erase cache had no effect

are you flashing recovery with adb-fastboot, what computer os are you using
are you usung the correct recovery image, for the sprint m7wls, (fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-m7wls)
use goo manager to flash the recovery and see
or you can use the all in one tool in the dev section

I am using the "fastboot flash recovery" command on Windows 7 64-bit (I have also tried on 32-bit).
You were right about the recovery file, I was using openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-m7.img, not m7wls. So for anyone who finds this thread later make sure it's the right recovery file for your build and carrier (not just phone model).

[Q] No recovery anymore after flashing tilal's 10.2 build

Hi,
as the tilte sys, I don't have a recovery anymore after flashing tilal's 10.2 build. Do I have to flash a new boot.img with fastboot as in stock?
That's odd. You can extract the boot.img from the zip and flash the image with fastboot:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
If this not works you also can flash an older cm10.2 version: http://goo.im/devs/tilal6991/roms/mint/cm-10.2/
After doing this you should flash the last 10.2 again. I never have lost CWM.
Edit: Sorry, youst reading this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44230652&postcount=9
Maybe you have to flash an boot.img from the last 10.1 nightlies.
Another idea was to install this recovery (tilal advised this): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115726
Download GooManager from PlayStore and load/install TWRP. But be sure that there is no backup you want to recover with CWM. I havn't found a way to recover older backups done with CWM.
I flashed a twrp image and the tilal build again from there. After reboot the recovera is away again. Later I will try to flash the boot.img from inside the rom.
So I flashed boot.img from inside the rom with fastboot but I still don't have a recovery. Does the keys to hold at start have changed?
Ok, I read in the roms thread that recovery is broken. Recovery should be installed in a fota partition. Do I have to simply flash the twrp fota image or do I have to do some other steps before flashing this.
Sorry for this noob questions but I rather ask before I will brick my device.
The last link in my answer above gives you all needed informations..

I think that your issue comes from the fact that the ROM comes with advanced recovery options disabled. HW buttons don't work to go into recovery with this build for some reason. Having said that, you can boot into recovery from within the ROM.
Go to Settings > Developer Options and in there you will have an option called "Advanced Reboot". When you check that and you try to reboot your device (hold power button until menu pops up), hit "Reboot" and you will be prompted with a few options, one of which is "Recovery".
I hope this helps.

[Q] HTC One Freeezes after installing Custom ROM

After Installing custom ROM my HTC One is freeze at Welcome Screen. Touch Screen is not working. Only volume key and power button are working. Any Solution?
I am installing this ROMhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023&page=5
This is the process I took:
1. Turn OFF the device
2. Turn ON the device in bootloader mode (hold power + vol down)
3. Enter recovery mode using navigation keys
4. Selected "install zip", then "choose zip from /sdcard"
5. flashed Android Revolution HD ROM
At the end of the AROMA installation there was a message "se_metadata_recursiv: some changes failed" but it allowed me to continue
When finished it said Rom was flashed successfully I rebooted, it went to splash screen and went no further.
I tried re installing the Rom again same result
I completely wiped phone clean, restored to factory default re installed Rom.
sd card wont mount so due to not having removable sd card on this device I cant put any other roms or backup files on phone
I tried reinstalling the ROM without using the touch functionality on AROMA, with no success as well
Phone info is
Recovery Clockwork mod v6.0.4.8
Unlocked
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.56.000

Do you have a Sprint or Verizon phone? If not, try CWM 6.0.4.3 or TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.7.1.2

Try to get into bootloader/FASTBOOT USB and run the following:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot
If you have a nandroid backup of your stock rom, you might want to try it.
Also you needed to wipe cache and dalvik cache and data before you installed the Rom. So your device is so fresh and so clean

Well no arhd wipes cache and dalvik as part of the install script. I would flash twrp 2.6.3.3. It works best with that Rom
Thank you all guys, the phone is back working again.
I changed the TWRP recovery to 2.7.1.1 and did the dalvik/cache wipes and it got back to work. The splash screen took a somewhat long time to finish in the first time, but everything worked.
Whenever you flash a new Rom you should wipe data, cache and dalvik.

You have flashed a recovery image to your boot partition, so it always boots to recovery. You need to flash a boot image to the boot partition.
But why do you want recovery if you won't flash anything to your phone?
By flashing recovery, you are doing exactly that anyway.
You have an unlocked bootloader, so you may as well flash an advanced stock kernel. It is stock kernel with twrp built into the boot.img. Check android development section.
thank you
since i know that i can't boot recovery without flashing, i have no other option as to flash.
can't i flash it to FOTA partition?
i have 10.7.A.0.222 firmware and need root access but like to do it manually
You can't boot directly to FOTA on XZ. Need modified boot.img or flash twrp to boot (like you did before). Then while in TWRP, flash Supersu.zip to get root. Afterwards flash kernel only in flashtool to get stock boot back
