Has anybody tried this battery? Seems like it fits with the stock battery door.

I would imagine it would fit like stock, if it was bigger why would the maH bump be so small
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
the bump isn't really that small, its about 860mah more than stock battery...but i dont think it actually is that, I've seen 4000+ same size but it does not state that the battery has a longer discharge time compared to the stock one...so idk
If you do buy it, please post a review of it
It does state in the description that you do not need a special back cover.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
There was a huge debate about batteries and stock covers with the EVO 3D and i remember that there were many 2500 mah batteries that only said that on the sticker and were actually around 1400 mah batteries. you have to pull the sticker off to see what the actual rating is or do some sort of test. If this is a true stock sized 800 mah boost batterie I would buy one right away! if someone can find out that would be awesome and if its a piece of crap let us all know too.
+1; 4k mah with stock door would be wonderful..

lol peeled off the cover like you asked and sure enough it has 3100mah printed on it. I Can't really complain as it was a cheaper than a stock battery and got a free spare charger too
Never buy a gold battery thinking it's what it is. The only problem is that you are risking putting a battery that was labeled wrong in a very expensive unit. Just charge the battery outside of the phone so there isn't a risk of damaging anything.

I received my Acesoft 3960 Extended Battery for my Galaxy Note 2 on this Thursday from Amazon. It shipped pretty fast from Cali and looks and feels pretty solid. I comes with no charge so I charged it for about 8 hours. I also use a battery monitor from Google Play to correctly monitor after market/extended batteries cause the stock reader won't read it correctly. I put the 3960 in and took it off the charger at 7:30 am Friday morning. I had my Note 2 on all day. I played music, fb, tweeter, instagram on, emails, text messages, phone calls, web searches and all. At 7:30 pm, I still had 34% battery power left from the 3960. That's 12 hours plus on the first use of the battery. I will order a second on for back up. I recommend this battery.

It is fake. The only guy with a positive comment/experience about it registered on XDA at the time of making his one and only post to promote the battery he is selling, and never posted in this forum again.
Since the last post has anyone decided to bite the bullet and buy this battery from amazon? It does have three positive reviews on amazon but no one gives actual run times or posts. On a normal day I am an extreme battery hog, running bluetooth media, pandora, fb, and such I get about 10-12 hours out of my stock battery. I would love 16 hours. I'll have to remember to run betterbatterystats tomorrow and get you all accurate run times on stock. And will do again if I finally decide to get this battery. If anyone has this battery can you give accurate times from battery settings?
Thanks all!
Exact battery I'm wondering about with some reviews on it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AV4ZMGM?vs=1

Hello all, I just got a droid incredible and I'm super disappointed with the battery life, I had a moto droid and got this phone as a replacement, the battery drains sooooo quickly its pretty ridiculous, HTC could've easily popped in a 1500 mah battery for us. Well anyways, I was looking for a replacement battery for the inc.
Paying 50 dollars for a battery is unacceptable in my eyes, I just want to use the standard case but have a little extra boost.
I found these on ebay:
cgi.ebay.com/High-Quality-Battery-Sprint-HTC-Evo-4G-1800mAh-x2-/250660990012?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a5c8f2c3c#ht_3148wt_807
wondering if anyone has tried them out? you can buy one for 7 bucks so I think it's a good deal just to try them out for awhile and see if they perform well. I'll be ordering some soon and post my results.
Anyone else thinking about these batteries or already purchased one?
Any cheap battery from china always dies super fast after a couple of weeks .....i know because I bought like 7 batteries from china and they all sucked. The ones for my incredible die in an hour of playing with it and my blackberry storm battery wouldn't even stay on the night I left it off the charger... ..don't but batteries from china......

just remember you get what you paid for. generally cheap batteries from overseas might last you a week maybe less. like the post before mine. id hafta agree 100% with him. those batteries are that cheap for a reason. get a quaility battery that works with the phone. their are many posts on here in reguards to what batteries work and what dont. take a look around.
I second this - not for phones, but we bought some super cheap chinese batteries off amazon for our canon camera. THey lose their charge in less than a week of non-use. Basically useless for backup batteries.
Oh awesome thanks for the replies, maybe ill just get the seidio 1750 then or the HTC 1500. Thanks again

I have one of those, and routinely get 4-5 hours of active use out of it. 18 up/5 awake just yesterday.
Also remember to charge the battery while the phone is OFF for maximum charge, if you plan to use it to full capacity.
Yeah I get about 24 up and 10 awake but I'm using an underclocked setcpu profile. And I normally leave 3g on, play games, tons of texts and always on the web.

I have one of those 3000mah batterys from ebay, like 12 shipped. The rear case turns the incredible from a phone into a phone/hockey puck hybrid. Its awesome. I get amazing battery life. With mild usage, ive gone 52 hours on a single charge (bump charged). Yesterday, i spoke on the phone for ~2 hours, played mp3s on the phone connected to a sound system for ~4 hours, plus lots of text, LOTS of playing Angry Birds, uploading pictures to flickr and more, and when i got home i had 62% still. Love it.
Before 3 hours of good use and battery was toast on stock battery.

Avoid the Seidio 1750 battery. Someone on Android Central did a discharge test of the HTC 1500 and the Seidio battery and the results came back almost identical. Seidio claims their battery gets better after a few charges but if both use the same chemistry then so will the HTC 1500. I'm not saying that the Seidio is a bad battery just saying its over priced. Just look for an OEM Touchpro2 1500mah battery.
FYI: I bought a Seidio battery before I read the thread. I'm not upset just next time I will do more research before being from them again.
I bought the HTC OEM 1500. They're available on eBay and Amazon for $15 or less available in red and black =P so far its a lot better than the 1300. Good info in the forum

I'm still going to get the seidio 3500 just because it comes with a nicer back.

I think it's hit and miss with Chinese-made batteries...
For example, last year I bought four Chinese generic li-ion batteries for my Canon DSLR. When I moved, I misplaced two of the batteries. I found them about two months ago and they still had three out of three bars of charge (could be anywhere from 100%-67% charge, not sure). But that was not bad, I thought, for sitting idle, off the charger, for eight months.
I also picked up a generic 9-cell battery for my Dell XPS last year. $20. It still, a year later, can run the laptop for a good four hours or so. Solid battery.
But, I've seen evidence on this site and others about Chinese manufacturing of counterfeit batteries and memory cards and other devices that will give me reason to think twice in the future... The gent at http://batteryboss.org/ will open your eyes pretty quickly. There are even photos of batteries with their plastic casing, which states 1500mah, only having an 1100mah cell. Ridiculous.
i bought an OEM HTC EVO 1500mah off ebay, there are a bunch now....i paid 16 bucks...
here is one llink

here are 2 for 26
http://cgi.ebay.com/ORIGINAL-OEM-15...Accessories&hash=item3a5f725ba4#ht_726wt_1140
why buy cheap chinese batts when you can get oem for a little more, not 50 bucks either...the 1500 lasts me ALL day, with heavy use...hour and half commute...twice, browsing, forums....games, you name it...i do have 2 cheapie chinese batts just for an extra boost if i find myself away too long, but they are only if i run out of my HTC juice, which is very rare
..delete.. how the hell did I get in this forum?

Come on
Please don't respond with a negative comment when you have no idea what quality Onite offers. I own both the n7000 and n7100 and with the original note I bought 2 Onite batteries with a charger. These batteries run just as good if not better. The weight on them were 1 gram heavier. The charger does take about 8 hours but the slower the better.
I'm now ordering 2 more of these with the charger for the n7100 off of Amazon for around 30. I will keep this thread alive with the results after I receive them Thursday.

Uh... you respond to a negative commend with a negative comment, and that's ok? He's actually correct... Onite advertises a higher mAh rating and then under-performs.
It is YOU who doesn't know the quality that Onite offers. They run worse, if not the worst. And what does battery weight have to do with it?
Take a look, Onite saying it has 200 additional mAh, yet not performing as well as a smaller battery.

My apologies to DarthPiggie for the rude post earlier, but I still stand by my word on this battery. Do you have any previous experience with Onite? I only included weight on the battery, since I know some people are kind of weird about that and I happened to have a scale nearby.
Tonight was my first night I used the Onite from a full charge and this is what I have so far. I used ePSXe for the first 1.5 hours of screen time on the phone earlier tonight to see how fast I could get my battery to drain.
I have experience with Hyperion and it wasn't a good one. Both of their batteries contained less juice than the sick battery even though they advertised the same.
Add for Orion, I have never used them myself but I have read other user's experiences and Amazon customer reviews. In general they seem to also be inconsistent. Anker seems to have a much better reputation than the other manufacturers and they actually seem to know what they're doing.
I'm just imparting my collective advice.

I think a lot batteries are like used cars. Most run okay, some run great, and some are crap from the get go. I know on the original note I bought one of the gold extended batteries and I had a very good experience with it while others did not. I may pick up these 2 with the charger.
I literally bought a 2430 mah gold battery for my Iphone 3gs 32gb to use as an ipod for the gym and it burned my board up after noticing the battery never turning the phone on and thus getting extremely hot. I test my voltages of each battery when I get them fully charged to make sure they are at what they are rated. You should peel the sticker off on that gold battery to reveal the truth.
Also, running a program to kill off every task that isn't needed when your screen is off greatly helps your battery life too.

Yeah when you take the screen and logic board out of the 3gs. It's not swappable but like any other piece of electronics, it's changeable.
Killing apps actually wastes more battery because the operating system has to repopulate memory with apps. You are effectively adding unnecessary overhead to the OS. This phone has 2GB of RAM. It is not going to run out of memory like that. Android manages apps very efficiently now anyways. Take this from a software engineer: you're better off without the app killers.

I think you are misunderstanding my use of it. I am not worried one bit about ram, it's actually 1.75gb usable. I have it killing the tasks that open and keep running in the background. For example, even if you close Facebook, you would have to go into the settings of it and logout to fully keep the app from running in the background.
Do you ever hold the home button down to go into the task manager to clear the ram out?
I am on the 4th charge cycle of this Onite battery that I bought. For me it has worked out quite well.
I have had very pleasing results as well and even more happy always having 2 batteries charged to pop right in. I picked up the 6500mah extended battery by Onite as well and haven't had the time yet to run a few discharges but to a bit of a surprise it included NFC. I can confirm from 2 batteries on the n7000 and n7100 each that Onite is a reputable brand not to look past at.

Yes I do, it's right here I suggest getting the 2 batteries, since it's only $6 more. The charge is pretty flimsy for the note 2. It sits in horizontally and these plastic tabs broke on me to keep it to the charging terminal, rubber band is a simple fix.
Note that the charger is .35A so if the battery really is 3500mah then it will take 10 hours.
Received both the anker and Hyperion 6200mah batteries yesterday. I purchased both from Amazon for about 20.00 a piece including shipping. I decided to test both of these before jumping into the 106.00 mugen 6400. I have an otter box defender case that I moved like in the other thread with the mugen battery. I did the initial twelve hour charge on the anker and took it off of charge and put it in the phone at 9am this morning and used wifi and 4G both throughout the day so far and have not been heavily using the phone too intensively, just as I usually do while I'm at work so it will be rating the battery for how I usually will be using it. It is now 3:30pm and I have done a little Web browsing on 4G and have been updating Facebook and testing all day and am currently at 92%. So far so good I guess I am running beans build 6 with the perseus kernel with the performance profile from the stweaks guide that's in one of the forums on here. My screen brightness is at about 75%. I will continue to update as I break the battery in. Received the Hyperion night before last and charged it in my phone for twelve hours and I gave it a much harder test yesterday. I had the brightness maxed and had the phone on pretty much all day long from about 10am browsing over wifi, playing a ton of games and texting constantly, made 4 or 5 calls and was trying my hardest to drain that battery and with all of that, I finally got it down to 15% by 1:30am. Looks like I might not spend the extra on the mugen and just switch between these two every few days. Will keep updating as I break them in seeing as how these are just the initial charges and they are supposed to hit full capacity after 4-5 full charge/discharge cycles.
Hey where's the guide for the stweaks performance guide?

I'm waiting on my Hyperion to come in. I am going to mod my Otterbox defender so it will fit. Any tips?
I am planning on ordering one of these. Not the Mugen. I do have three questions for you:
1) Both covers are different right? I like the look of the Anker battery better.
2) Does the phone get hot at all?
3) What do you use to charge the battery before placing on it into the phone. Official Samsung charging system or one from Amazon?
TIA
I charged mine in the phone. It came in at 59%. No troubles at all . Once hit full. Reset battery stats. And went to town.

hello
My:laugh::good: battery came in Friday night at 59 percent it lasted 24 hours with everything cut on. I had 2 gmail accounts syncing and Outlook also Facebook which we all know drains battery. I was playing Temple Run 2 with the settings turned up. Flipboard was in frequent use all said I think that this battery is excellent. p.s. it really does take around 12 hours to charge it from 0 that is not a joke.
OK, second charge with the Hyperion with normal use, I have had my phone on for 52hours and am still at 16 percent battery. I'd say 3 days isn't too bad for 20.00. Again this is only the second charge so it may get even better.I can't post screens because I have switched ROMs twice during the three days its been on battery. I'm sticking to this ROM for my next charge cycle so I will actually be able to post accurate screens of usage. I am on the root box ROM now so if you are on beans you would probably get even better battery than I am. Will keep updating.
Here's my 3rd charge on my anker
Now I have a op in general for this battery with tons of pics throughout its use. It's quite detailed. Please look over in general section for more comparisons. I feel the anker is the best I've tested. I've done the 6500 ebay specials have 3 of those. And one of the 7600 ones and there the same as the 6500 ones.

I have it and I must say it does. I've been meaning to do what others here have, which is use some vinyl to change the white to whatever other color I want.
I bought tthis battery off eBay for $14.

You do realize its capacity is anywhere from 2500 mAh to 3100 mAh, not really 4000 mAh? It's physically impossible to fit bigger higher capacity cells into single OEM battery size. Typically these ebay batteries, like Golden 4200 mAh, are closer to 2500 mAh (I have tested a few), but from your screenshots and the fact it costs over $10 - I think its safe to assume it will be closer to OEM 3100 mAh. Just gotta watch out for any bulging which happens with these over time especially when you charge them at full 2A speed, and you probably going to notice performance to go down in about 3-4 months.
Sorry bro, didn't mean to rain on your parade. It's just a fact with these ebay batteries.

Well it doesn' t seem much, if any, better than stock battery.
It is surely better than my stock battery. So it can't be less than 3100mah. Has to be higher.
It is not physically impossible. Not sure where you got that info from.
You didn't rain on my parade. I have results to prove it. My stock battery is now used as back. No use for it day to day now.

Ooh, you just offended a bunch of people on this forum who got Golden batteries hoping they will get 4200 mAh for $6
Unless you have some latest ground breaking info about new development in battery cell density, Samsung used the highest density battery in their OEM footprint. It's a fact. The only way to maximize it was by doubling the size, thus all the reputable companies had double thickness/capacity with 6200 mAh batteries and Zerolemon had it at triple with 9300 mAh. The only company that was able to squeezed a bit more was Mugen who does their own development and was able to squeeze in 6400 mAh in double capacity.
To verify capacity of your battery, looking at performance with screen on time, etc is not accurate. Especially since you are comparing it to an original battery with aged performance. You need to get an external hardware battery tester where you charge the battery to a full capacity and let it discharge down to 2.4V cutoff voltage while monitoring the actual current drain over time to get the exact capacity in mAh.
Btw, just for sh!ts'n'giggles, take the label off your battery to see what is stamped in there as actual capacity
I dont need to get anything. ..
My real world usage proves this last longer than my stock battery. I bought this battery to use as a backup but now my stock battery is the backup.
Are you saying mu screenshots are fake?
Also if you're point was valid, aa batteries come in one size right?
Why are there 800mah, 1200mah and 1600mah aa batteries?
I am happy and surprised with my purchase. Doesn't matter what you might think. My screen shots prove it.

Chill bro, I'm not doubting your screenshots or your experience. As I said, it sounds like you probably got 3100 mAh battery. That's all. As someone who reviews a lot of accessories and gadgets on XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192333) and helps other members on this forum, I just want to be sure other people are not mislead by thinking they can get 4000 mAh battery because Note 2 battery with such capacity doesn't exist. Period. Neither does anything over 3200 mAh since I remember testing my Anker 3100 mAh to be slightly higher then stock capacity. The screenshots are real, I'm not doubting it, but that is call a "relative test" to another reference of someone else using stock capacity battery under different conditions with different setting and running different apps. We had people reporting poor performance with ZL 9300 mAh while the fact is they were comparing it to stock battery performance from 3-4 months ago when they had different setup with different apps, etc.
Just calm down, enjoy your battery, and spend a little bit of time reading this website with a lot of Note 2 battery reviews and explanation how they really being tested: http://www.batteryreview.info/
Ok just making sure you aren't hating lol.
I didnt say I believe it to be 4000mah. I just believe it is higher than 3100mah because it lasts longer.

It's probly a case of new 3100MAH compared to your used original 3100MAH
Only new battery tech could squeeze juice more into the same physical battery.
New battery tech wouldn't be sold for $14. :good:
Anyway at $14 that's not bad. Let us know how it performs over time. Cheaper than buying an original Samsung 3100mah
Just got this
Just got this battery and managed to last over 7hrs of onscreen time doing mostly messaging, web browsing, watching videos off the microsd card and youtube.
Auto-brightness was set to about 30% (was more than sufficient for an overcast day and 8 hours in the office).
Had location services turned on, gmail and Exchange syncing. Also had music playing (Poweramp) for most of the work day.
Hope this helps any others looking to give this a try.
No idea if I will get this sort of screen time on the stock battery as I've only had a half day use of it (bought the phone used off ebay and got the extended battery at the same time).
I get these same stats on my stock battery. Running ADHD 18 with latest Perseus kernel

Im not impressed
As i can see your screen on time is just 4+ hours, i can say im getting somewhat 6-7 hours screen on time with my 7 months old stock sammy battery
As far as I'm aware the Mugen battery is the best available at 3200mah. The Anker one being a better value for money choic3 at slightly higher than stock.
I have no way of actually testing this though, but there's no way the OP's battery is anywhere near 4000mah.
On a similar note, does anyone know of any tools to accurately measure these battery capacities?
–edit sorry wrong link that was for testing cords not batteries

I see the reviews here are pretty old now.... so can anyone of you update the status of your battery performance now?
im sorry but i think zerolemon is better with 9300 if u dont mind the bulk
Hi
See lots of 4000+ batteries and standard 3000, but are there any good 3500 or 3800? (want to keep normal back, no added bulk)
Ones I have seen look cheap and nasty (no brand) and I have a feeling they will add nothing extra.
Anyone got a 3500/3800mAh, did you get noticeable difference, worth it?
Thanks
Its not possible to have a higher capacity (mAh) Li-ion battery without increasing its size.
I personally use the TrendON LG G4 Battery kit and have been really happy with it. While the batteries last about ~75% as long as the OEM battery, it comes with 3 (depending on the bundle you choose) and a wall charger. Really great deal and an 18 month warranty! http://www.amazon.com/TrendON-3000-Spare-Replacement-Battery/dp/B010P2BQ2S
Hope this helps!
I ordered a (supposedly...) 3500 mAh battery online. It's the same size as the stock battery. My expectations are low, most likely won't actually live up to the rating etc. Either way I'll let you know after it's in my hands and I try it out for a day or two. Hoping it doesn't turn my beloved G4 into a pile of melted plastic.

Yeah I know what you mean, the ones I have seen look so cheap and ready to do more harm than good.
If some good company would just make one around that level, but bigger than 3800 and you need new case/adds bulk.
Fingers crossed one you get is all good.

You haven't paid much attention to LIPO packs since the beginning, have you? LIPO batteries are constantly getting smaller while packing more and more current capacity. A denser battery pack is possible just as a LIPO pack with the same size dimensions having less capacity than 3000mAh
Bit shocked Mugen have not done one, I see they tested a 3100mAh, but a extra 100? is it worth it, thought for sure they would have tried a 3200/3500mAh, but all there is out there is cheap no name stuff.

Well, my 3500mAh arrived. It appears to be very well built. In no way does it feel or look cheap. It is ever-so-slightly thicker than the OEM LG battery, and also slightly heavier 49.4 grams, compared to 46.3 grams for the LG.
The extra thickness and weight is to be expected for the slight (claimed) increase in capacity.
I popped it in and it fit perfectly, snug but not too snug. Just enough that I could hold my phone without the cover on, screen up, and the battery would not fall out. My stock black leather back fit right back on without a problem.
Powered on and the charge level was right around 80%. I charged it to full, then ran down to 5% or so. I repeated that a few times before evaluating it's performance.
Sadly I didn't do much to test the stock battery, but I can tell you I was never able to get more than 3 hrs of screen-on time. Same with 4 TrendOn batteries! The TrendOn batteries also occasionally caused problems where my phone would shut off when taking a picture with flash. Wouldn't turn back on until I switched batteries. Maybe it would've had I plugged in a charger, but I never tried. That would happen even if the battery was over 60-70%.
Also using the TrendOn, sometimes I would put a freshly charged one in and my battery level would be stuck at 80%, never going up or down. Usually that would "fix" itself after a few reboots.
After using this battery for a little under 2 wks I can say I'm very pleased. I regularly get over 4 hrs screen-on time now. Using auto-brightness, and doing random things like browsing Reddit, XDA, watching YouTube videos, streaming music with Pandora or Spotify, etc.
I've taken many pictures with and without flash and haven't had a single reboot. Also haven't had the 80% bug. Both of which plagued 3 out of 4 TrendOn batteries.
Charges just as fast as the LG battery. Just over an hour from ~10%-100% using a QuickCharge 2.0 charger, and stock or equivalent cable.
I guess only time will tell if this battery continues to perform as well as its been, or if it decides to incinerate my phone... Since I received it, I haven't taken it out. Haven't needed to as it easily gets me through the workday(sometimes the entire day) , even with moderate to heavy use. Now that I have a QuickCharge 2.0 charger at home, and in my car, I don't even carry a spare battery. 15-30 mins on one of them and I'm good for several more hours.
I'm not sure who makes the battery. I don't think any name is printed, only "Made In China." I bought it using the BangGood app. I'll update if I experience ANY problems.
any link or screenshot please? would like to get one

The 3500mah is the only one that would fit. any higher then a Custom case would be needed. I have one on mine and it's not that thick. I actually bought another case to fit on top of the one that came with my 7700mah battery. just look at my post and see the difference

It just camein today. Doesn't feel as if it is cheap. Slightly heavier than stock battery. I haav to go through some charging cycles to let the battery settle. Will report back with anything new.
Been using the battery since my last post and well i like it. With stock battety i get no more than 2 hours sot and the new one i can get up to 3.5hrs. An im a heavy user. Using an anker quick charger it takes about the same amount of time to charge both batteries. Although the new battery does look really cheap it doesn't behave like a cheap battery. No over heatings and no shorting out when using too much. I provided some pictures of the battery just in case you want to know what it looks like.
P.S. I do go back and fourth between both batteries when they die out. For the first week of having it i soley charged both batteries inside the phone with the quick charger. Now i have an actual little battery charger which saves me a lot of time between charges.

the OP asked for a slightly higher capacity battery that fit flush with the OEM battery door, that gave better performance without adding any extra bulk and limiting case options. Of course a 7700mAh is going to last longer than a 3000-3800mAh. But that wasn't his question. They're EXTREMELY limited on case options, and take up a LOT more space in your pocket. It's something I wouldn't go for, but a 3800mAh battery that allows the use of all the OEM backs and cases while giving over 25% more juice sounds quite appealing to me
