....that is a themed gingerbread rom not the real icecream.... how can they base a rom on ICS 4.0 before the src is released....
Same way that the Nexus S has got an ICS ROM.

Interesting. Time to see if 'fastboot flash system' will work.
Guess if the OTA doesn't boot, then the .imgs wont either.
Edit: Argh, slow download. Probably wont have time for a while either then. Still, will give it a shot sometime tonight unless I'm beaten to it.
Edit 2: fastboot fail
Code:
sending 'system' (189563 KB)... FAILED (data transfer failure (Too many links))
Meh.

Apparently nothing
Someone compiled it, but it does not seem to be a valid image and can't be flashed.
no-one tried flashing it with NVFlash? download the NVFlash from modaco, replace boot.img and system.img with those ICS ones above and maybe that would work? would try myself but I got my phone running sweet at the min and dont want to fudge it up
It seems not all sources have yet been fully released and Google won't release the rest until december. So, I think we'll have to wait a lot longer, I'd say somewhere around June-July to get something usable.
any idea when ics is gonna be released? i called the customer support in india and he said he has no clue wat so ever because they arent much interested in our cell..,!:-(

If they do what they did with Gingerbread, i guess only in the next year XD .
i have read an article that said they wil release ICS at the end of this year.
but i realy don't care, the dev's here are probably going to release ICS earlier and we have so much great custom roms here so i don't want to go back stock.
We already have ICS dude http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619583

+1 and given that lg didn't do a very good job with gingerbread i think the best hopes we have are here by the members that are really trying to deliver a full working ics port.and i guess it would be even better than official half ported release from our beloved lg.

And when LG releases their official ICS for the OB we probably won't have an OB anymore

Yep, its true, but im pretty sure we will get some ics roms based, i dont mean theme, i mean ICS based, so just wait
Just wait a little more (maybe 2-3 months) before getting a "stable" ICS rom ported by our amazing devs! The development progress of the rom is super quick! Yesterday it was just released and now it's already at alpha 4! At this rate ICS will be for very soon, definitely sooner than LG's ICS lol.

well.. i think it will take a little bit more.. 1 month .. maybe more for the first rom with ics without problem.

So,
ICS is coming, it is confirmed and I have trust in LG, and I know because of the drivers we can then fix CM9 to have a completely stable and working ROM. But will this also mean that we can have a bug&issuefree JellyBean ROM? I hope so anyway.
Thanks tonyp for being awesome.,

Did you think that ever will be released?

Hi, Sure... But when???
Here in Sweden we just got 4.1.2. So i assume we have some monts of waiting..
Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will be revealed for the new Google Phone during Google I/O in May 2013.
So hope to get the 4.2 in May.
Exact but it is not small differences between the 4.1.2 and the 4.2..So i prefer to update direct to 5.0
Hi,

As been mentioned cm10.1 almost up and running on lte ...ive tryed it myself not bad like been said few bugs but nothing that wont be fixed within couple of weeks at most with luck..Not reall any full time let alone part time developers really working on it...maybe now the thing actually runs pretty well they might get there butts in to gear and finish rom off..lol and we shall become bloody enlightened with there wisdom...
Sv: JB 4.2 to i9300/9305
It would be nice to see it came alive so we can try...

Now there is both CM10.1 in alpha and a RC of LiquidSmooth.
None of them is perfect yet, but with the speed of development the last couple of weeks I think its just a matter of days.
As mentioned in the previous posts, yea there are roms for 4.2.1/2 already! like CM10.1 and Liquidsmooth (4.2.2)
Personally I would say go for LiquidSmooth. For now, it has better support and lesser bugs
I've tried Android 4.2.1 with CM mod but it's a little bit disappointing. I can't see any real useful changes so far.

no, Samsung will not release Exynos sources, so it will never be final
I hate to say it but we are either gonna get more support in next months or less support.
With the s4 coming, I predict that most devs will move on and go to that

Hello!
I'll be doing nightlies for the Atrix HD for a while. Thanks to epinter and his team for making this possible.
All builds can be found at https://zifnab.net/~zifnab/mb886/
Please realize these are NIGHTLY builds. I don't have time to test them. I will be keeping this up to date with a new build every few days, but chances are I won't be testing them beforehand. Use at your own risk.
Thanks,
zifnab
What's the difference between yours and epinter's? Gps working?

I will be trying this after few hours, and i'll try to EDIT here.
