You probably should do a flash back to stock.

Folks, please need you help. I had my DS7 (rooted) perfectly working over the month until I powered it off last night and after I turned it on, it threw bunch of "force close" down messages for my services and stuck at "welcome to DS7, touch android to begin" initial set up screen with "change language" in the lower right corner. That's it! Cant move any further, reset button did not help too. Please advise if there is a way to recover from it.
Thank you in advance.

Last update: Called DELL yesterday. Spent 2 hours with technician, trying to recover DS7 (factory defaults and whatnot). No luck. The guy told me I should send my DS7 for repair.... I was not happy about it and after the call ended, just went and installed DJs ROM. Well... I'm back to the business now. Just need to figure out how could I roll back to original WiFi only ROM when Honecomb from Dell is ready.

dose not work
It might be a soft brick if it can boot up. If a hard reset via adb dosnt work then it probably a brick.or If you could get into download mode (or fastboot as i still dont get it after a year or 2) and flash stock firmware then it should work. If not then nothing will work as far as im concerned.

Hello people i got a galaxy s - not rooted running on gingerbread 2.3.3. Sometimes when i try to type a phone number with the dialer the phone "kicks" me bac to the home screen. It doesn't allow me to type the number. Any ideas why is this happening? I did a factory reset but even after that the issue continues. Thank you.
Hmhh it is difficult to say ...any new apps installed???
Maybe a fixed bug with 2.3.6 because you use 2.3.3 ???

Yeah this happened to my device once but a soft reset fixed it. Try clearing your memory.
Thanks!!!
What do you mean with "soft reset" ???

Hey guys, I have an old Optimus 4X HD and when i found it i decided to power it up again. However, it wouldnt power on! I thought that it might be out of battery and hence i plugged it in, only to find the keys flash lightly once and die again. Before this, it was stuck in a bootloop which i had no time to fix. Any suggestions?

Please read your own Post carefully.
Because it says, you want to have suggestions for something, you just didn't have time for (which implies that you know how to deal with it).
So if you would've used your brain, you would've written "it was stuck in a bootloop which i don't know how to fix" instead of "it was stuck in a bootloop which i had no time to fix", otherwise we don't know how to help you. Do you even get what I'm saying?
Assumed you don't know how to fix a bootloop, why don't you use ur brain and search for a tutorial like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069723
There are lots of pictures which will help you to understand it even without reading carefully. :good: But be aware of having time
Hey All,
I was chatting to some people on the android central forums and they said to come here and reflash my rom. Basically my phone is stuck on a bootloop and when I factory reset it on the hardboot menu, it doesn't fix it and when I click Recovery it reboots and loads a black screen with a grey triangle and an exclamation mark. I doesn't come up with any options to clear cache. It gets to the second loading screen with the HTC animation and glitches out. Would any be able to give me a step to step guide on how to reflash the rom. It's never been rooted and it's on Vodaphone UK.
Any help is much appreciated and Thankyou.

The procedure is written by me. And it works. BUT ONLY USE IT IF YOU HAVE THE 64BIT VERSION OF THE PHONE. (EU=64bit / USA=32bit)
If you need more help just ask.
