[Q] Porting Galaxy S2 lockscreen to SGM

I have a Galaxy mini and i have tried many roms n lockscreen mods but didn't got my favourite!!!!!
I LOVE GALAXY S2 LOCKSCREEN
I copied the 2 files from S2 - "android.policy.jar" and .odex.. but my phone hangs in the boot loop!!
So do anyone know how to port its lockscreen to SGM?????

Porting is not the same as simply copying apps from one ROM to another.
In your case, Galaxy S II is using TouchWiz 4 while Galaxy Mini is still using TouchWiz 3.
And not forget : Screen resolution is a huge difference.
CMIIW, there's no lockscreen in android.policy.jar
What you need to learn is how to decompile .apk and .xml and then modify scripts and images to fit Galaxy Mini and then recompile them.
My suggestion : Try using other apps mate.

It cant b ported bcz of our device is armv6 need 7 soo use milocker or lockbot

Do u have SGS2 Lockscreen for milocker...? i m looking for it

MI locker has a bigger screen resolution.. doesn't support our mini..

for milocker we have to resize it to ldpi i tried but havnt succeed...

I found a link for that, but it is a launcher (as an APK file)
Type TouchWiz 3.0 Port From Samsung Galaxy Europa and Galaxy Fit MadTeam on Google (It means there's a launcher like that).

if you use any cm7 rom you can use touchwizz theme and touchwizz launcher.

sorry mate it can be done only on samsung based stock and custom roms,CM7 has this feature by default..i remember using this feature in cm7 on my Galaxy Ace

I found out that stock rom and kernel is the fastest and smooth kernel and rom build so far that's why I'm using stock
Btw do you think we can add CRT animation? I've tried few methods but always stuck at compiling back

I would like to say that it's not stock rom
It's deodexed stock rom but yes it's rock stable

though my status bar crashes when i tap flashlight. but still this is a great mod. :thumbup:

Yes
This should work on all 2.3+ devices but if you are 4.0+ you could take the original secLauncher2 of s4 and also the accuweather widget.

You're right, since Galaxy Mini is an old phone with low-end specs & all that,
many devs of Mini these days not active anymore so it's up to you if
you want to port them, learn it by yourself dude.

I extracted the rom and found that Its just CM rom with touchwiz theme applied. So I don't think there is a need of porting it..
I will upload the necessary apks , just install them and apply theme using CM theme manager..

Original Rom is CM11 [I themed status bar] with NLauncer 2 Material Design and Themed is CM11 with S5 Theme Applied and galaxy launcher..:good:
This may slow down your phone, I suggest to theme the framework and apps of the rom[Long process] ..

I ported this rom[ [CM10.1][S4 UI]Touchwiz Revolutionised 5.0 v3.0 ] from Ace to Mini , but developer of that rom didn't reply for my request..
I have the rom but i can't upload..
Camera was colorful and super fine.. Rom was smooth.. :good:
Its framework is completely themed to look like S4.. no need of additional theming apps... Anyone try to port , resize and publish by requesting the original developer..
