Have you been seriously hurt in an accident?

I got in a motorcycle accident yesterday and it made me think how easily I could have been killed. All I was thinking about was my inspire 4g and how it cracked in that accident. So I'm wondering have you been in accidents. How were you hurt?

I was saved from any serious injury because.of my hit air vest. The vest inflates when I am ejected off of the bike, kinda like an airbag

It's called hit air. Google that. It's uses a CO2 cartridge that I usually buy from walmart. I'll see if I can find a youtube video

I haven't been in any car accidents or anything, but this is the worst accident I've had: half of a sewing needle broke off in my knee. Pics, so it did happen lol. Anybody want me to post the aftermath pictures (Post surgery)?

I was on a bus that crashed once....
The driver had a heart attack of the motorway and ploughed into one of the roadside overhead signs....
Lots of broken glass, screaming women and children, nobody was seriously hurt except for the driver who had to be cut free as he was pinned I'm his seat by the sign he hit.
After we got out through one of the windows most of us were helping others down because it was quite a drop but some dude started taking photos straight away without doing anything to help so this other guy went over, grabbed his camera and smashed it on the floor
The guy across the aisle from me got cut up really bad because the windows on that side all smashed and showered them with glass and I couldn't help thinking about how lucky I was to have sat on the other side....
I was pissed because id paid nearly £200 for a ticket to see cream and thought I wasn't going to make it. Luckily though after 3 hours in Watford A&E I just made it to london on time....
@mtm... There was a news article about it with a pic but I can't find it so it didnt happen

Few years ago dad was riding into London, behind a MPV in stop go traffic.
A woman coming the other way didn't see him behind the MPV, thought it was a gap in the traffic and floored it to turn down the road beside him.
He was sent flying, bruised lungs, damaged shoulder and broken pelvis.
Thankfully there was a doctor in the car behind so the ambulance was sent out with a better idea of what to expect.
They had to resuscitate him several times on the road.
His pelvis will never mend fully, and for about 6 months when he sat down he said it felt like his organs were falling out through his pelvis.
He now walks bow legged with a slight stoop.
Initially the woman tried to deny liability but eventually pleaded guilty, getting a measly 3 points and £60 fine for nearly killing someone (in the UK the car is the best murder weapon with the lowest penalty).
He did get a reasonable insurance payout thankfully but that did take nearly 4 years.

Haha yeah I actually got hit by a car when I was 7. I also lived on a street that has a brick road. So...? Not too great of an outcome.

Had it for a day and.....it sucked! Well I though I could live with it but I missed going to XDA on my app. Facebook I barely use and Twitter I barely use!
Anyways when I traded my sister the Vibrant with the BlackBerry, my mom took it away!
She asked me if I had a business to be using it soooo much and she took it so she gave me one of those phones you get free when you sign up with ATT and I only have calling now....
Well that's a bout it!

Hey everyone, it's true. I got a hipster white iPhone. And I love it!
Here's how it happened. I some how got water under my battery and it's cover (a decent amount) and I tried turning it on and charging it. It didn't start so I put it in rice, for two days nothing happened.
I needed a phone so I used my upgrade for the fruit phone. I noticed the battery life is amazing, like really amazing. I haven't jailbroken it yet because I'm starting to think its just waste of time. Unless your cracking apps...

Overall I couldn't be happier, I won't say I'm an I sheep because I don't even have iTunes on my linux machine so I only use pandora. But yes, I will buy the iPhone 5 unless the next nexus (jellybean 1) is able to feel as fluid as ios. No more exuces. Duces.
Oh yeah I found out the nexus battery got shorted out by the water so I just order the extended battery. So I'm braking my Optimus s and puting the nexus on. So yes I will still be around these parts of the Internet.
Also why is the iPhone forum here blank?
Feel free to post your android to IOS transition here I suppose.

well well.. my friends all have an iphone 4. now im the only one with a Nexus S. one thing that I have to admit of the iphone: the retina display looks crazy beautiful man.. if there was a android phone with it it would be . BUT the iphone really really sucks in multitasking!!!

Just nicked a nexus 7 from a car

Yeah was at a car dealership and some mug hadn't locked their car and I saw the nexus 7 there so I nicked it, was loads of tools as-well but I didn't want them. Already been home and wiped and rooted it, love this thing
