Exactly, I still cannot get the theory behind reserving post, usually they are done to fill in info which needs a separate post or a separation from others.
Btw, Shantanu, rights of locking own thread are not there for simple member, its only for RDs

Its good you are doing this, but create only one thread for your ROM and not separate ones for v3, v4, v5, v6 . Or I would say try to use this thread only.

To kick off this new year, I'd like to present an EGL binary from a test build along with a patch to frameworks base.

gralloc.default.so
libGLES_hgl.so
[-LINK-]
Some info on the patch:
Switch Looper to use poll() instead of epoll().
The TLS changes are necessary to work with the open sourced kernel.
See following for more info: [-LINK-]
EGL_ANDROID_swap_rectangle has been commented out as it's not supported.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the test binary.

But the drivers are actually on "test" . . . so close to get CM7 and so far to have CM9
I tried the driver on my CM7 .. Rom is faster .. but i have a problem with a chisel HW .. and 3d

Yes driver is working, extract it from my rom if u want to, but u can not use it, cause u need tompatch sources in framework, and u can not do it

There is no stable MIUI 4.1 for I9001.
We allready have a miui JB... the person who ported it is he same who ported miui ics and miui gb for our device (i forgot his name). Only it didnt work that well and the porter said he wanted to stop porting miui jb (i forgot why but he had a good reason. Maybe this is the same rom... some russian dude downloaded it and posted it on a russian forum...
Oh and maybe this is huge.. but you asked a question, so this isnt a development thread.

You could try with 3.0.61 kernel by ivendor. Is really really stable and smooth.

Change Kernel on MIUI JB brings lot of bugs ... Then, it's not recommended.
I modded the kernel from CM, to work with MIUI, then if you replace this kernel with an other, my mods won't work properly, and MIUI will have bugs.
