Here you find the "spirit fm radio free" with various limitations (only mono): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059296
Otherwise on Play store there are "spirit fm light" and "spirit fm radio unlocked" with full functionality (paid apps).
There aren't others fm radio working on cm9/cm10.
But before use this fm radio read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13380066&postcount=3
You should try an tune in radio which available on play store

I don't think tune in is FM radio. that is streaming radio.

Thanks for the free spirit FM link, but after reading the post I think I will not take risk of installing it.
Why do you want FM? Use Mobile radio live, works on data but has all the FM broadcast stations, and hundreds more.
Or do you have little data on your call plan or something?

But on my SGS with CM10 it breaks Apollo. I've to restore a Nandroid backup to fix it.
On the contrary, Spirit FM Free works well without damaging the loudspeaker (up to now...).

First post from the CM6 page from ATT1:
Q. Does the FM Radio work?
A. No, and there are no plans for FM radio support at this time.
Q. I miss HTC Sense. Can it be added to CM6?
A. No. HTC Sense is proprietary. Further, it is more than just a launcher and add on programs.
Q. But I really really really miss Sense. Can it be added to CM6?
A. No. And still - no. Yet - no.
This was an easy find.
What would cause my FM radio to stop working and I am stock aria build??

try the program droidacir.
it isn't an actual fm receiver, but it works fantastically well.
it uses internet streams to play radio stations, and the amount of stations available is ridiculous. i use that program every night to listen to a local talk radio station here in town (wichita, ks).
Hi,
Somebody knows a good fm radio app for the HD2?

Just tried TuneIn but it's not a FM radio app but internet streaming radio app.
I was also searching for some good FM radio but couldn't find nothing on market except for many streaming only apps.

Spirit Free than UL worked very well. Dont need headset plugin. You can close up any metal material than raido can work properly
"Radio FM - Radio For Mobile" is the best I know.
I see a test "FM Radio Test" when I access HiddenMenu with a shortcut I created with "Any Cut" from the app store.
I cant get it to work there.
I also downloaded Spirit FM Radio its claims there is no fm chip...
Sure seems like it has been removed.
I can find some sites listing the LG Thrill as having one.
Yea I have seen a bunch of Sites listing this phone as having FM Radio too but I have yet to find anywhere in the device where it says that or even where the actual app exists.
no radio is really disappointing me╰_╯, so anyone knows at&t will support in the comming 2.3 update?
I dont see the APP.
I don't see the APP you referring to. Can you tell me what it is called? thanks..
Not seeing this app either. Really missing it as I used one on my eXpo.

I find that there are hacks for FM Radio and Camera to eliminate the low battery. Is it possible to do that for sotck music player (JVU, deodexed)?

In that case may i also suggest the use of any music app found on market (there are plenty free).
If you specifically want the stock music player you can ask a developer (i recommend Pantrif13 who always provides mods that users request) to make one (actually i'm going to ask Pantrif13 too)!!! CU in his thread!!!
Im about to post the same thread

Wow! Amazing... Why has no one (or Motorola) publicised this?
What is the reception like? My HTC Desire has the worst reception known to any phone, to the point where it is pretty much unusable.

On mine Razr I (I'm in Brazil) doesn't work. The FM apk starts but doesn't make any sound. When I turn my cellphone it does, but restart the FM and stop the sound again.

I could not get FMRadio8.apk to work. It keeps FC on startup. The UI looks really nice in that version though.

I'm a Brazilian user too. My Razr I works fine with the app FM Radio. But when the sounds stop, try to change the source of the sound (LoudSpeaker).

There are free versions linked here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059296
I'd be interested to get a debug log, preferably from a rooted device if possible.
In Spirit, use Menu-> Test-> Email-> Logs and after 10-20 seconds press Send. I'll post any interesting info I find.
Thanks...
I've tried the free version of Spirit and FM Radio from Google Play and both work however as soon as you turn off the screen the audio stops. Basically makes the radio useless
The only way to get it back is to quit the app and relaunch it.
Installed the play store app for moto only and works OK here in uk

I'm in the UK too. I take it you're talking about this one yes?
So when you start listening and then switch the screen off, does it continue to play through the headphones?
Thanks
