Installation for Unlocked Bootloader
Make a backup- Always backup just in case you ****up
Flash a stock based kernel with recovery. I recommend DooMKernaL
Enter recovery
Factory reset
Flash rom.
Reboot the ROM, the second time you get the spanner and wrench triange. Do not worry, leave it to do its business.
For TX users wishing to flash the JB version of this rom, then use this patch, credit to @shad0wbane
For TX phones flash this by asterix005. Please give him a thanks. *Only for version V0.0.5 and before
Installation for Locked Bootloader
For V1.0.0 and above, make sure you are on a stock JB kernel with recovery installed. Then flash the .zip in recovery, and follow the instructions above.
If you have any root issues flash this RootPackage-gregbradley.zip - 1.75 MB
For V0.0.5 and before do the following:-
Use flashtool to flash any generic 7.0.A.1.303 ftf.
Root using Bin4ry's method.
Install CMW for locked bootloaders
Enter recovery, factory reset and flash the ROM. Then flash the flashable version of CMW recovery for locked bootloaders before you reboot.
FIX FOR BOOTLOOP WITH EXTENDED BATTERY MODE. Flash this in flashtool to update your kernel to stock 7.0.A.3.195 Stock kernel.
For TX users wishing to flash the JB version of this rom, then use this patch, credit to @shad0wbane
For TX phones flash this by asterix005. Please give him a thanks.
[All the tools and links can be found from the all in one thread here]
Optional Installation Step
If you are coming from a ROM with the same base you can advance restore you data partition in CMW to get all your apps back.
These have not yet been confirmed working on the JB versions yet. You can also flash the build.prop and init.d tweaks from vinss68 found in post 4. These tweaks are maintained by vinss68 so any questions regarding these should be directed to him. Thanks vinss68

Check kernels since not all kernels work for this ROM.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kernels
Stock Kernel with additions - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1838916&highlight=stock+kernel
ArcKnight - 3.5 only (3.6+ do NOT work)
The above kernels are the ones I have used and tested this ROM with. I do not guarantee that other kernels will work.
About
A lot of people claim that their ROM is fast and effecient. Few actually prove it.

Cant download, please fix ur link
can't download, link broken same as the V 1.0
Installed the rom with minimal options, and choosing Xperia S.
Installing Xperia S stuff gives a contacts FC at start, and it's missing the notification bar.
Installing without Xperia S stuff, you don't have th Contacts FC, but you have no notif bar.

Testing the Xperia S stuff again as we speak. So far didn't manage to get a missing notification bar. Edit: Nope didn't manage to get that error. All works fine for me.
By any chance, did you do a factory reset?

Yes, I wiped data, dalvik, format system and data.
Maybe it happens when you select to install toggles on notif bar.

How to make this ROM Better/Faster
Remove setup guide once the ROM is installed (it uses 2.1MB of RAM and a super small amount of CPU power)

Change contacts apk for older version. Takes up 25mb RAM. Only added to keep you happy

There is invalid information in title. It says your ROM is 2.3.7, however there is no such firmware released for our phones. And your first post says also "Based on android 2.3.4".

Let me be the first to say thank you, and I will test this as soon as its downloaded.
Takes me 30mins tho since the speeds at work arent that great.
I'll wash the floors here at the store while I wait
Edit:
Works perfectly.
Would be awesome to get a custom reboot-menu implemented tho. with the options to reboot and reboot into CWM.

ok, super stupid question.. but would i have to wipe the phone? reset system, cache etc?
if so i will stay stock for now i guess..
Its always recommended to do a full wipe. But you should be ok as its a stock based ROM.
Choice is yours. Keep a CWM backup first before installing.
Cheers

Would lidroid's toggles be a sensible request? I'm sure it's not the easiest thing to port, but man I miss them!
Anyway, thanks so much for the rom!
EDIT: Sorry for this stupid question... The last step in the installation instructions is to apply the CWM fix to keep functionality. Do I flash this zip in recovery after flashing the rom but before reboooting the device?

Reporting back on this one.
It doesnt hang at night. I woke up to a call this morning, everything works perfectly.
Only negative thing is that I woke up to a call from my boss higher up my chain and he was wondering why the store werent open. Yep, I overslept and got a ticket for not opening the store on time. A grand lost right there.
Not the ROMs fault tho. Mine since I didnt port over my alarmclock from the old phone

Correct
After you flash the ROM, also flash the CWM Fix. This is so you keep CWM on the device.
For those who have already flashed the ROM. You should be able to just use the windows method to re-install CWM, as you already have root with the ROM.
I will try to incorporate the fix into the ROM, but for now, please ensure you flash the CWM fix to keep CWM on the device once the ROM has been flashed.
[EDIT II]
I will look into toggles and reboot menu's.
Cheers

The mod is good if you are changing the layout of the app drawer. The ROM's purpose is to keep a pure stock look and feel. I don't think ill change the layout, to be fair, a 5x4 app drawer is enough to look at anymore would make it 'too much' for me personally.
So far looking to add the following
Aroma (will take some time)
Reboot / Recovery option in shut down menu
Google Search from Jelly Bean
There is also a a kernel available with touch recovery which now does not require you to apply the CWM fix following the ROM flash.
Just fast boot This Kernel and you will always have recovery available after any ROM flash. No need for CWM fix!
Regards
For some reason I cannot get Spotify to work now with this ROM.
I have an 16GB SD-Card installed newly formatted (twice since I got the spotify error.)
Have tried to reinstall the ROM a few times, with and without complete formats\wipes.
I get an white screen when I start spotify. The only clickable thing on spotify is the menu-button.
I have done all of the solutions provided by the google-results,
even went as far as completely reformatting the phone, kernel and ROM.
Still the same. Tried with an older version of spotify aswell. Same result.
Edit:
Nevermind. Suddenly it worked. I have no idea what part fixed it.
I swapped through different kernels, different ROMs (stock, this one, KANG 4.1, CM10.1) then back to this one again with the TWRP kernel.
Then it worked. Now I can install an old version of spotify, sync in high quality to my SD-Card then install and update to a new version to get extreme quality with my music on the SD-Card
Been running this rom for a few days now. I had a couple random reboots yesterday and today, one happened when I opened a link in the official Facebook app which opened up Chrome, I can't remember what I was doing the other time. Hopefully it's just one of those things, but I'll keep an eye on it. Otherwise everything seems great!
Also, and this has nothing to do with the actual rom, but I installed the version of CWM that's linked in the OP and while it works fine for flashing and so far as I can tell for doing wipes, it sent me into vicious bootloops when I restored from the backups I made. One was from internal storage, the other from external. I'm a noob when it comes to Xperia stuff, but nothing I tried doing got me out of the loops, and both times I ended up flashing an ftf and going through the whole process of rooting and flashing and of course setting up my phone again. On the plus side, at least now I know my way around Flashtool pretty well, lol. Has anybody else managed to successfully restore using that version of CWM, or have any advice on dealing with bootloops that doesn't involve spending an hour getting back to having a usable phone?

Tips:
SuperleggeraV7 includes all previous released fix and some mods (so no need to install them)
Before asking about problems & customizations i suggest to search in the thread, probably you'll find the solution
This rom will not wipe your data(if yo came from a previous version you'll keep personal settings and apps)
But i always suggest a clean installation to avoid problems!
If you think this version have more app then my "standard" you can use SystemCleanUp to uninstall what you don't need
If you are on ODEXED version,i suggest to use SystemCleanUp to re-odex apks after updating them through market or other ways(you'll gain in speed and partition free space)
More free ram?: under system apps or with Systemcleanup disable/freeze "Google Play Services" : is useless and eat many resources...(unfreeze it only if you wanna update it,but not needed)
Except for the mentioned features it's Stock,so it is not supercharged,or init.d tweak etc.(in this way everyone can add his own tweak and further increase performance)
Prerequisites:
Locked or unlocked Bootloader
ICS KERNEL,CWM.
Installation:
FULL WIPE IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED!!
This time i returned to the classic flashable zip so no more needed to make 2 or three step during installation...
To install it simply flash the zip in recovery(Ray users),it will not delete your data partitions,so if you are coming from a previous version you should not loose your data&settings, but i Always suggest a clean install(wipe data, cache etc...).
During installation the zip will create 2 folders on your sdcard:
"LightningLauncher":
needed at first boot(open apps drawer-menu-customize lightning-restore-select SuperleggeraV7) to restore my ideal configuration for it (swipe to Right for photo, swipe to left for video, swipe up open apps, swipe down expand notifications, keep press on home for music, two click on home for quickpic, menu button for task manager, home button for dialer, two finger swipe up to add item).
"SuperleggeraV7_PATCHES":
here you can find the various devices specific Patches for Arc,Arc-S,Neo,NeoV,Pro,cwm and init.d for locked bootloader.
REMEMBER TO FLASH IT BEFORE YOU EXIT FROM CWM!!!!!!!!!!
Rom is fully deodexed so you don't have to worry about installing mods(lately i'll upload new ones)...BUT...i've included a flashable zip to reodex the rom when you want inside sdcard/SuperleggeraV7_PATCHES/odexer.......
Rom "SHOULD" be good for locked bootloader too(feedback are welcome)....
WARNING:FOR NOW DON'T USE ADDONS ETC.. FROM V6 (THEY AREN'T FULLY COMPATIBLE)SOONER I'LL UPLOAD NEW ONES!
VERY IMPORTANT(ODEX-DEODEX):
This is not meant to be an explanation of the difference between a rom odexed and deodexed, rather only a few tips on how to behave when dealing with applications and mods in my Superleggera Rom.
There are many threads on XDA that explain the difference in a "scientific" way.
However, we can conclude that a rom (or application) ODEXED is faster, takes up less storage space and ram .....
BUT it is very difficult (sometimes impossible) to modify.
For this reason I advise you to install everything that you need (especially mods containing framework files) BEFORE you apply my odexer zip.
....Or even better if you kept a deodexed CWM backup from which to start if something goes wrong....
You're ready to run&hit thanks!
Thanks,Arcatarc.

Hdmi is working ok,OTG&NTFS are kernel related,so if you need them use a kernel(and his modules)who support it..
Sony stock firmware don't support themes from Play.
Tanks for this nice rom.
Unfortunately AutoBrightness dont work, my device is an arc s with unlocked bootloader and Vengeance kernel.
Can someone please help me?

Just one thing but I think nothing to do with your rom, just funny: on the mobile web version of facebook, I do not have any writings anymore

Hello everybody.
Some of us come from 4pda.ru. This is russian forum where we have talks on phones, fws, ROMs etc.
As a happy SXV user, I have tried most of the existing ROMs for my phone. And happily ended my searchings on this one, which my friend @lubik1 and I have done. Why?
But look! We took best of Jelly Bean. We fixed almost all the problems 4.3 had! Now 4.3 is FAST enough and nice at multitasking. Now 4.3 is HARD to make music app get thrown out of memory when you multitask. Now 4.3 is not just up-to-date... it provides you all you need! And... Now your launcher doesn't get SO MANY redraws.
So, we introduce you the...
Xperia V Poison!
The Absolutely best you can get
from 4.3 Jelly Bean!
Main features:
First of all, it is Fast!!!
Deodexed
Latest Sony Applications (email, conversations, etc)
Phil'z Touch CWM recovery mod
Full Z3 Sony Style
Music tweaks & sound by Lovins/Ibanez7 (sound quality is really HIGH!)
Full Cyber-Shot Lollipop UI (thanx Toxizen and everyone else)
build.prop and init.d tweaks to improve multitasking (we did it ourselves)
Bluetooth REALLY works normally (in Lovins it doesn't)
REALLY working XLOUD, X-reality, X-brightness ON LOCKED/RELOCKED BOOTLOADERS (even 'relocked' with lost TA section!).
Battery life - GOOD! it's stock... (still better than lollipop though i must admit that latest Neo 12.1 does a great job!!!)
Changing Music Tracks by volume rocker (if you don't want it, just flash THIS: View attachment std-framework.zip)
lollipop-like-UI
that square spot in the right upper corner, which simulates the power button
GAPPS included (sorry guys, if you don't want it, please consider removing it yourself)
Performance Control (gain developer settings to access it)
and other stuff
This link leads to original page of this ROM on 4pda.ru. And much more we just haven't mentioned!
Disclaimer:
By downloading and installing this ROM, you agree that I cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to your device while installing or using this ROM. Always remember that it's YOU who chose to do these modifications to your device!
Download:
Xperia Poison 3.0 STANDARD
Xperia Poison build 2.6 FULL (4pda.ru version)
Xperia Poison build 2.6 LIGHT
All of Poison is deodexed! You can odex your ROM yourself in Titanium Backup, for example.
Visit our forum for more info
Sooo...
Instructions!
I suppose that everyone of you have been flashing ZIPs so i won't be long:
Just download one of these ZIPs above
Wipe everything if you're not gonna do a "dirty" flash from another 4.3
Root: towelroot; SuperSu.apk; reboot
We suggest you flashing it in older versions of Philz Touch Recovery CWM mod or you'll have to reflash it again (here is the most suitable recovery installer View attachment XT-lockeddualrecovery2.7.94-BETA.installer.zip)
reboot
flash the ROM
??????
[*]PROFIT!!!!
If you experience NO SIGNAL after first boot in this ROM, then just do all the wipes and reflash ROM again.Other case, if you don't have Internet connection, either download settings or check APN yourself.

Is Xloud not working at all on UB? And "13.that square spot in the right upper corner, which simulates the power button" - can that be removed? Final is rom deodexed? Would like to try this.
gonna try dis tonight......
---------- Post added at 09:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:30 AM ----------
oh yeah it'ld be nice if u can attach some screenshot of this ROM
I'm here to say something about that poll.
One of main reasons that I don't use JB is that I can't have system wide color emoji.
For me, KK was best version of Android in almost all aspects.
And for KK, I would go for MIUI + Neo Kernel.
But we don't have active MIUI support.
And also WhiteNeo is not going to release his CM 12 kernel for KK, So I'll stay on Resurrection Remix

Just decompile systemui remove line, and then recompile. If You don't know how, I help you later.
Little updates: added screenshots, added some info. Come on and try
In our (russian users of this phone) opinion, this is the most rich experience of 4.3 you can ever get on SXV!
Good work man . Wish I could try but my Xperia v is dead
go get one on ebay! i got mine for less than $130. can't think of something better... perhaps, if waterproofness isn't an requirement, xiaomi mi2s would give sxv a challenge... but mi2s's camera is worse than sxv, though both have sony exmors. and xiaomi mi2s got 2gb of ram, which is better than 1gb...
i'm not even mentioning nice and sleek miui... you should [email protected]! or, lemme repeat - go get yaself an xperia v on ebay!
Installing on my wife's phone, hope this brings it back to life

1G, 2G, 3G, 4G - everything works! If there was 5G or anything better, it would also work!
It only touches those who don't have any signal after first boot! You need just to reflash the Poison from its recovery.
Do wipe "for a new rom" and flash the zip again.

Thanks for the quick reply. I originally did the "new rom" wipe, but 3g doesn't connect. Should I try again with it, or the other wipe ? Or the two combined ?
And a question: do you happen to have the SystemUI without the power off button ?
Other than that, the rom is A W E S O M E ! Really brought the device back to life

Hello again. I see you already downloaded settings for internet. So here you go with your 2/3/4G.
What about systemUI without poweroff button... You may try whatever 4.3 systemUI you want, you may even try stock one. But don't forget to put it together with .odex file if there is one. I can't tell if I have "clean" systemUI.apk without that power button spot
other than that, thank you for liking the ROM
The navigation bar quite small . How can i resize back to normal ?
P/S : Compare the Lovin's Rom , your seems to run smoother . Can u add the transparent notification bar

And we have working bluetooth and no lags in playing music and music driver does output of better quality, also. Whole list of benefits. I only reboot my phone once a week! I heavily use it and anyway spend over 120 hrs of uptime before the phone starts to really slow down.
I recommend you installing Xperia Xposed (by serajr) and tweak navigation bar and all of the UI the way you wish.

Hi again! It turns out my wife got used to the power button
Just wanted to consult with you, there seems to some small freezes with her phone. She can't describe it to me really, but It seems it's always with combination of facebook messenger + keyboard, like the keyboard refuses to open or lags with the animation and/or lags while typing after that.
Any setting I should check ? I don't think I've changed anything in the performance menu, but there might be something.
Other than that the ROM is simply amazing! I couldn't believe the battery life after the first setup - I thought the battery percentage was stuck!
