CWM error:status 7?? :(

Hello guys! Yesterday i tried to flash with CWM my custom rom... But appears an error says about status 7!! Anyone can help me?? Thxxx!

Try to flash latest cmw via odin..look for it in galaxy mini development.
Sent via sgm cm7 rc5.6 by squadzone.

Redownload the ROM.. might be a corrupted download.. try to install other ROMs to test if you cwm is working..

error status 7 ...
the cause is the "meta-inf" just change it.

of which type your device is GSM or cdma please check your model no. if it us other than gt-s5570 then you will need to make some changes in the updater script of the zip you are flashing

aprizND : how i change META-INF? kitrax: is a ROM created by me other ROMs work fine

Sign your Rom zip file with SignApk. You will be able to flash it then.

No way it displays the same error... Something about this: raw_image (temp/boot 'boot')

Hey bro.. Copy/paste a META-INF folder by another rom and you can flash without problem

that means the write_raw_image command is written wrong
just make the correction and you would be able to flash the package

How do you suggest to do it? Unpack the zip file? Or how coz I have the same problem and can't solve it. I am not the best in repacking flashable zips. Have never done it before.

Its simple easy change update bin in meta-inf with the update bin in meta inf in the rom

[Q] AROMA Installer

aroma installer is a rom flasher which runs besides cwm
when you start to flash a rom which have aroma installer the in the middle of flashing a GUI will appear and ask you to input options with full touch support
but to put it into rom package a dev with high coding knowledge is needed
it is used to give flasher a choice to flash what to and what to not you can include many kernel in one package and let flasher to choose which one to flash

excuse for this question but i must be sure before process to flash the rom.
can i flash jb:cm10 paranoid rom to my note? actually i have paranoid ics:cm8 with hydracore kernel.

Yes you can.before flashing cm10 please read the original cm10 thread for instructions.

yes u can flash the PA JB but after installing the rom DONOT change the kernel to hydracore. or it will. not work. Keep the kernel that the rom came with

Hey guys. Since note 5 has cm13. A beta build at most, I'm trying to build a personal custom kernel it. (from a already existing kernel from touchwiz) From what I've gathered. I need the zimage and boot.img dtb then flash supersu to patch.. Is there anything else I might be missing? I can get it to boot screen but it will not actually boot. Any info would be greatly appreciated
