So I was wondering if between the different variations 16GB/32GB and 32+mobile if the same issues were showing up or if the new ones have quietly addressed the issues.
So far these are the main issues
Screen flicker
Difficulty when waking from sleep
Unresponsive power button to power on after powered off
Any others please add and respond to above question thanks all

Nexus 7 32Gb WiFi only CAO. Three points of minor light bleed at top. Bad flicker on auto no matter WiFi signal strength. Have to be at least 28% brightness to go away. No screen lift. I may exchange this one but expect chances are I will get a replacement with similar issues. I just have to find in myself if it is worth it.
I have a 16Gb C9O that doesn't have these issues at all and tint isn't quite as yellow either though I fix that with Filter My Screen app. I prefer that app over Screen Adjuster because it doesnt cause a performance hit.

Well sort of. My phone has a really really blue tint to it. I'm not sure what it is but no reds nor yellow colors can't be seen. The yellow looks really green. As for the red it looks really dark red somewhat blackish. Tried replacing the amoled 3 times. Still same.

Are you running CM?
Yes I'm running stable cm7 latest 2.3.3

Try settings-> cyanogenmod-> interface-> render effect, and play about with the settings there.
I did that already. Lol its on no effect and its blue! I put it on night mode which is red. The screen turns super dark. Almost a black color.

I don't know anything else to do then, sorry
I know I ordered my 4th amoled display hopefully it works!
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
You ordered a 4th screen? It's obviously not the screen. But the controller or something else wrong with the hardware or just the connection to the screen itself.
The chances of the first replacement having the exact same problem is pretty low, but 3 screens all acting the exact same means the screen is working perfectly. Replacing it again will not fix it.
My original amoled display ribbon ripped so I ordered another from China. That's when it was blue. maybe its not original although it states it is

I ordered from different people. Of course I gotta refund when it didn't work. $50+ for display. No effing way!!

Sorry if this topic has been posted already, but is anyone else experiencing back light bleed. It's most noticeable with high brightness and black background. I wouldn't complain about something like this normally but it's quite noticeable on mine.

Lets see some picture examples?
It's IPS, they all have it, if you don't want bleed then buy an OLED screen. Why do you think they never turn the screen to full brightness at shows?
Bought nexus 4 last month it was 301k then found its volume down button doesnt work so called Google managed to get replacement so Today I received my replacement phone which surprisingly 301k but after playing with it whole day I've found many difference between my new one and the faulty one.
The screen is much brighter in the faulty one, white looks very bright which looks very good but screen is kinda yellowish on the new one. I've installed pa ROM on both phone because its colour calibration is much better than stock, however blue colour looks natural on my new phone that's probably because of yellowish screen but on the other it hurts my eyes as its screen is bright.
Vibration is little bit strong on the new phone.
Sound through earpiece was louder on the faulty one but not that loud on my new phone but I still think its loud.
Phone gets warm quickly on the new one. Therefore faulty one has best benchmark score.
Camera is good on the both but on the new one camera lens placed very accurately.
Battery life is same but new phone charges quicker than the faulty one. Left them on charge today new phone was full charged after approx. 2.15 hr and faulty one was full charged after 2.35 hr.
Pressing buttons experience good on new phone but on the faulty one buttons are hard to press.
That's all I have found sending my phone back to Google tomorrow but I liked the faulty one screen looks very vibrant and bright if I could fix the volume button I would have kept it. By the way has anyone else noticed any difference on their replacement phone. I could make a video but don't have any camera but managed to take a photo of both phone.

I don't believe the revision changed anything of this nature. Spreading these types of rumors are what makes all the dummies go and rma when they're is nothing wrong with the current phone..
To the op... You are saying that both phones are turned all the way low with brightness? Your old one hurts your eyes when turned down?
I think every phone will look a little different but it could be due to using different versions of the rom and Kernal you are using. To compare you should bring them both to stock and make sure they are using the same versions.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Not all phones are exactly the same. I would suggest find a ROM/kernel / and color preset found in XDA That makes your phone to your liking. Unless you feel like u have a serious issue then get another replacement.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Well neither I'm saying something wrong with my new phone nor saying I'm gonna RMA my device. Just feeling but wired that new one has different things than old one. yes I've installed same ROM on both and same brightness level but the display is just a bit yellowish believe me or not on stock you can see the difference.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I noticed similar differences. I have had my rev10 for 2.5 months now and just bought a rev11 this week and definitely noticed a little more of a yellowish coloring on the new one. I also did notice the 11 did have a stronger vibrate than my 10 did. I did not however notice any differences in the earpiece quality.

Screen being a bit yellowish is a good thing cause less chance to get yellow spot which I had on my first nexus from first batch. This is my third nexus by the way and I have to say I have had different experience with three of these phone

Give the screen some time to cure. The yellow will go away. The glue needs to dry

I was doing fine on ParanoidAndroid 4.2, then I flashed over to 4.3. Soon after, I found that the center row of my screen isn't registering touch. Also, I noticed that sometimes I get occasional phantom touches and times where the touchscreen isn't working at all until I turn the phone off and back on.
I read that this was a pretty big issue with nexus 7 users(something to do with 4.3 changes with touch response), so I was wondering who all has been affected.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
nope....im alright.
Have you tried flashing 4.2 again ? If nothing helps, you might want to replace your digitizer...
I've been reading up on digitizer issues and I haven't ruled it out. I haven't flashed back due to time constraints, and also the sheer fact I'd hate to.
I do think it's funny that I'm having the same kind of issues that N7 users are having though. Thanks for the reply anyway ^_^

Few days ago I reported this issue, with my very bottom screen not responding, and in my case it was a hardware issue, some of the squarish like things that you can see under the light are broken on the bottom of my screen, and hence I lost touch sensitivity at that area. Hope yours is just a software thing
I have noticed the Note 7 always on is WAYYY brighter than the S7 Edge always on.
Anyway to change that?
What about screen burn in, do we think there will be a problem?
I had the same question. I don't want to turn it off but it's really bright.
Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
Same here way too bright. I turned it off until there is a fix. Wish we could adjust it to personal preferences.
there's a 70mb international patch that samsung has released with a few bug fixes and improvements. the screen brightness might be part of the improvements. wont know til tmobile decides to push the patch to us. but as far as burn in goes i wouldnt worry about that. if you notice the always on screen moves position up and down your screen. this prevents burn in.

Unless you're using a S View cover, mine doesn't move (not that I've noticed anyway) ... Was a little concerned myself. I have an LG OLED display, the 65" EF9500, I know it's not as prone to burn in as compared to plasma, but the TV will run a screen clean cycle when powered down after every 10 hours of use, or there about... Not sure if the Note does anything behind the scenes to prevent or deal with possible IR ..

Mine DOES NOT move either.
Also there was an update today in the Galaxy Apps for the always on display. From what I can tell not much of a change
I believe the movement is 1 pixel every 10 minutes, random jump every 60 minutes. Is that not the case anymore?

it does move. and you're probably right about the time of the movement. the ppl that dont see it move are probably expecting it to move within 30s of them looking at it. it takes some time for it to move. over the past 2 hours mine was at the bottom of my screen it is now in the middle of my screen.

No you won't face an issue with screen burn in! That's an lcd screen issue with the pixels! You won't see that issue on your QHD display!

Lol wut? You got that backward. AMOLED *DOES* get burn in. LCD only occasionally suffers from image retention but that's temporary.
