v28J on server, but impossible to download - LG Optimus 2x

It looks like that v28J is already on server. However, they keep blocking us to download it, so that's why you as me gets the "forbidden" message. Bad LG.

This doesn't mean much... We already saw this with previous V28 versions.

useragent of lg mobiletools
Do anyone know what's the useragent of LG mobiletool? I'm thinking that they are not blocking IP but useragent, since the message says that "Your CLIENT is not allowed to access the requested object."

Good point!
It is LGUserCSTool. I tried it, but it didn't work

Nothing is impossible. I might know a way to dl this. Will try when I get home from work

The V28I link is also "forbidden", so maybe LG didn't upload it yet.

Can someone try with Incognito Mode from a Cyanogen ROM?

Nope, even elite Korean proxies can't do the work. I suppose it might be htaacess blcokes and we need login system to acces this part of server.

I waited patiently and they changed files in 08:46:41 Seoul time and I catch response five minutes later.
I was convinced that files stay some time than they delete them, but noooo, I cannot download any file even it was only 5 minutes later than they supposedly upload it. Here is response from testsw query:

I don't know how you'd get this link, but you're not downloading it because it's fake. The real address to v28J is that on the first post, witch have a file with 730380475 bytes (~730mb), but unfortunately LG blocked usof downloading the file.
You can check the file size and info with "curl -I address" (note that's an big i, not a small L)

Can't download because there's a Jaguar Webcache system in front of the Oracle Webserver... reverse caching proxy locks out by ip and serves a fake 404 and/or blocks us from downloading.
Plus, the content-type is text/plain while it should be at least application/octet-stream to represent a binary. 100% proxy response here.
So basically we're locked out thanks to the reverse proxy. Not much we can do i guess...

HTC "Recovery" (signed-dream_devphone_userdebug-ota- ***.zip) LINKS GONE?

Hey, folks. Has anyone been over to the http://developer.htc.com/adp.html site recently? The text is still there but the download links seem to be gone. I was going to walk someone through installing CM (he's still on JF 1.44!!) -- but the download links are gone. (Replaced with "flat" text)
Is it just me?
you are right it is gone
Yep they know about cyanogen method of installing then so they removed it
Does anyone have this file? Like a dumbass I did not save it and flashed over to a hero rom last week. Would like to back to CM but am kind of stuck without that file.
Thanks.

OMFG, I just saw this on the front page for the RAZR, if this is real I will be so very happy. Can someone tell us if it is real and works? I want CM7 on my Bionic so bad, and not a querky dual boot thing but for real. God I hate BLUR.
What does the quick boot files have to do with getting CM7 without the dual boot?
I can't get it to download. I click on the file put it doesn't do anything.
Got it to download had to turn off tracking protection my bad.
The file has apparently been removed from filesonic. Can somebody please reupload it to another file hosting site? Thanks.

Could have been a fluke for me and I will try again but I have seen them do this sort of thing with files we have released in the past. Always good to get files like these up on as many servers as quickly as possible in any case.

I can upload them if you want.
In the meantime I had been downloading the stuff from Minus, finally finished.
I am uploading the files to my server, I will post links shortly once the upload is finished.
I've had this server for years, it's not going anywhere, it's in a major datacenter, it's fast as hell (on an average day I get around 50mbps [~6 Mbytes/sec] when downloading files), and I won't run out of bandwidth (unmetered).
Also, I'm willing to host or mirror any ROMs, fixes, or any other revo-related stuff you guys release, permanently and for free. It's the least I can do in return for all of your hard work.
Alrighty. Mirror is up here:
http://tazr.net/lgrevo/
Bon appétit.
If there are any other files anyone thinks should be there too, let me know and I'll put em up.

I'm starting to think the website is down again.
Sigh, I haven't been on the server in a month and Steve hasn't responded to me in a long time. His last Twitter post was July 15th, and I can't remember the last time we chatted on GTalk.
I'm going to try remoting in and grabbing all the files I can.
I cant access it anymore, I havnt checked if it's my dns entry expiring or not though.
If you need any file that's not there anymore, I prob have it.
I have the majority of his dell stuff locally.
If you could put up all the HoneyStreak stuff if you have it.
I dug around in the mirror2.streakdroid.com folder on the server but can't find where the files are at.
I just used the workaround, and yes the server is still up, my DNS entry did expire.
I'll go and download and reupload it in a moment
If you have any specific files that'd be great, as I havnt used HS at all so I'm not fully aware of what goes where
Done:
<Devhost>\Misc\HoneyStreak
Thank you.

I think the domain itself has expired and probably been renewed in the last few days. Maybe that's made it flaky.
Code:
$ nslookup mirror2.streakdroid.com 8.8.8.8
Server: 8.8.8.8
Address: 8.8.8.8#53
** server can't find mirror2.streakdroid.com: NXDOMAIN
$ nslookup mirror2.streakdroid.com 8.8.4.4
Server: 8.8.4.4
Address: 8.8.4.4#53
** server can't find mirror2.streakdroid.com: NXDOMAIN

Registrar of Record: OVH.

Just wondering if anyone can post any mirrors for honey streak please. Everything else like cm9 and cm10 are to unstable and not ready for daily use. Please can anyone do it please.

Extracted stock H3223 ROM images through XperiFirm - flash with NewFlasher

My plan is to upload all of the H3223 extracted stock ROM image files here as a repository. Extract with the free 7-Zip from http://www.7-zip.org.

Thanks for letting me know - they must be having problems. I get the same result when trying to download one of these files. If there's a particular (or more recent, which I have but haven't uploaded) one you want, let me know here and I can upload it to https://mega.nz at least temporarily. I have "H3223_Customized US_1312-1380_50.1.A.13.123_R11A-12-1-2018 security patch, Android 8.0" available, which is the latest.

Absolutely! I'll upload it to here - it'll be here ready for you to download when it's done. I'll also double-check it in the morning to make sure it uploaded okay. I've got it 7-Zip archiving to the sync folder now - hopefully it'll at the most take an hour or so to sync up.

I found the problem. It's my fault. I was looking in my email for Android File Host's support email which I know I had used before, and I came across the same problem I had reported about other files of mine. The problem was caused by the comma I had in the filename. I tested the July 2018 file before removing the comma, still had the problem, removed the comma and tested again and it now downloads. I don't know why people were able to download the files previously and not now.
I'll upload the latest updates to AFH.
Thanks again.

I will download it and upload and reply back here when it's available. I probably won't get to it until either very late tonight or sometime tomorrow at the earliest, though. We'll see!
Just curious: Have you tried Xperifirm or does it present problems trying to download firmware for you?

No rush at all ! Anytime. Really appreciated, thank you.
I have it and tried re-downloading it and reflashing to no effect, because I'm getting constant bootloops plus completely dead wifi in the device, so I'd like to get it from a difference source because all points to my firmware files being wonky for some reason. It may be also that I received a physically defective device... We'll see, I guess.

This is really, really weird. On the one hand, I get the same results with your upload as with the firmware I downloaded myself, which makes sense, no reason why it should be any different. Thank you so much, now I can discard there was a problem there.
Flashing goes well, both slots. But WiFi is still completely dead. Didn't really do anything beyond that to see if the constant bootloops stop or not.
Now, on doing a fastboot getvar all, I see a 'Product : H3213' ( !? ) which this is clearly not. It is the dual-sim H4213. I mean, the dual sim slot is very real, physically speaking. So is the labelling in the package box.
No idea what's going on here... Again, thanks.
