[Q] Using Amazon Prime (books) on a rooted device

I've rooted and put a new launcher on my Kindle Fire HD 7' and have gotten the Kindle App to work by placing it in the system/apps folder just fine. I can read my books and my library is in tact, however I can't seem to use my Prime Lending properly. There are books I've looked up on Amazon.com and it says it's available for the free Kindle lending program w/Prime, but am not sure how to utilize that with a rooted KFTT using the Apex Launcher, stock OS, and the Kindle App (from Google Play). Any suggestions?

Just rooting and adding Google Play will not effect things. When you put the custom launcher on your tablet, you hid the availability to use the Prime lending library. The reason is because you have to access this through your tablet to be able to borrow. You will have to remove the current launcher or switch to the stock launcher and enter the lending library from there.

Is there a way to make the Kindle HD 7 start faster?

I was wondering if there a way to make the Kindle HD 7 start faster? I love using the Yatse remote to control Kodi on my Fire TV, but would like to access it faster.

Not really because it has to boot up.
If I remember correctly, persano's tweaks had an option where you could disable the boot animation. It may be worth checking out.

[Q] Installing Windows 10 Technical Preview on Kindle Fire HD 7" (1st gen - Tate?)

[Q] Installing Windows 10 Technical Preview on Kindle Fire HD 7" (1st gen - Tate?)
Er, I've been searching on the internet, but have not found anything about involving this topic. I'm particularly having this demand because I only have a Windows 7 laptop (from Jan. 2012) that I use Windows 10 on. Since it's a normal laptop with no touch screen, and since my Kindle Fire tablet is so useless due to regional issues (Middle East here), I've been wondering if I could install a Windows 10 TP (build 9926) on this tablet to get more experience from the touch screen side of Windows 10.
Notable details that I think is important to know;
It has 25.3 GB free space out of the 27 GB storage.
Its system version is 7.5.1_user_5170020.
TL;DR Question: is it possible to install a Windows 10 TP OS on my Kindle Fire HD 7" (2012) tablet?
Bump?
(I don't seem to find this thread in the list of recent threads in the subcategory...)

netflix casting with amazon fire 7 tablet (5th generation)

How do I cast the netflix app on the amazon fire 7 tablet (5th generation) to the tv.
I have rooted and sideloaded all the apps for chromecast to work but netflix just isn't supported???
I saw something about editing the Build.prop but everytime I try that and reboot it goes back to the same thing it was before?
Does anyone have any information cause I mainly bought this table to be able to cast.... bad idea I guess.
