[KERNEL][28NOV] SiyahKernel-XT Alpha 0.2 - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

I won't write long and fancy descriptions... I am planning to keep both kernel and the OP as clean as possible.
This kernel is for Xperia-T only and supports only Sony ICS ROMs for now.
FEATURES:
Autoroot
Some optimizations by cherrypicking from others & upstream
Some change-this-and-that kind of optimizations on governors
Some additional I/O Schedulers (sio, v/r)
Undervolting support
Overclocking support (192-1890MHz) with some modifications on thermal throttling to prevent overclocked values to be used during boot.
Custom CWM-based recovery with touch gestures (thanks to sk8erwitskil for the gesture support)
STweaks support (included in the kernel or from Google Play). it is an opensource app which generates dynamic UIs based on /res/uci.sh script interface and lets your set some kernel parameters easily. It will be auto-installed.
Fast-dormancy is disabled as default. You can enable it using STweaks.
KNOWN ISSUES:
Some STweaks settings are not effective
kernel needs some time to apply settings and you may feel some lag for the first 2-3 minutes. this will be fixed soon.
TODO:
cm10 support
Xperia TX support
dual-boot
more features...
THANKS TO: Codeworkx, Kali, all CyanogenMod contributors, sk8erwitskil, krabappel2548, Ninphetamine, Chainfire,... (please remind me if I forgot anyone)Download: http://d-h.st/users/siyah/sony-xtSources: http://github.com/gokhanmoral/siyah-xt
Ramfs: http://github.com/gokhanmoral/ramfs-xt (only updated each time I make a release. for test versions you will have to extract it from the kernel image)

Many thanks
I will test this on my rom and link it to the all in one thread.
Works fine ROM-Assaye
Touch recovery is excellent!
No vibration on prompt to recovery, but has purple LED, I would appreciate the vibraion back please.
Will test other feature in time.
EDIT:
Unexpected error in STweaks

i've just installed this kernel.....works great!! smoother and faster.... now trying !!! thanks!!!

Reserved for a probable, long and boring FAQ post...

Just installed
Thanks GM

I have not tested it on TX and that is why I wrote "Xperia-T only" to the first post.
also, make sure you read TODO..
if you use it on TX, use it at your own risk.

i will give this kernel a test on pacman and latest paranoid roms if you want.

I haven't tested it on cm10 although I put some init files to the ramfs.
it will probably not boot on CM10 or anything based on that.
it is still on my todo, but will send you a message when I need it to be tested on an additional device.

no worries.
i know the cm10/paranoid kernels have no boot animations, which was offputting for the first few boots.
as greg asked before, can we keep the vibration for cm prompt if possible?

oops.. tested STweaks now and it doesn't work. seems like I will upload 0.2 in 20 mins
and I will put the vibration before cwm amber light toggle.
damn.. I think I will never be able to have a first release fully working

thats what first releases are for...just checking backup and restore in .tar mode now
---------- Post added at 02:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:22 PM ----------
Another problem..sorry. its not really a bug, just something that could be made better
The backup option does not have a confirm option, which i found painful on non touch versions becuase i sometimes hit the power button instead of volume up or down and start a backup by mistake.
I have just done the same again because as son as it finished a backup I went to pick the phone up and touched the screen on the enter butoon and another backup started....could you implement an "are you sure" option like on other screens where you have to scroll up and down through a load of no options before you hit yes...

I have uploaded v0.2
-added vibration during boot, just before cwm prompt
-fixed stweaks xml file (the problem was related with a last minute addition of sched_mc parameter)

Hi gok, if you want it moving over to Original Development let me know as your work generally couldn't get much more original
I won't be round till later but will move it then if none of the other mods see it first.
Thanks as always for sharing your work :good:

thank you for your kind comment but for now the kernel is not so original.
it has some cherrypicks and influences from some other repos although some parts are carefully corrected.
I want to make an example of "it is not who you are which makes your posts to be placed in original development but it is what you do"... and kernels can be unoriginal work as well.
I will ask for your evaluation once I feel like the work is more original
thank you again.

no problem. It failed on both the backups i made with this recovery and now just failed on a known good .tar backup i made with a previous recovery.
It fails at different times, once on restoring system once on a md5 ismatch (On the new backups) and on the known good backup it failed on restoting data
"Error while restoring /sdcard/ .android /.androi_secure!"
But its a good looking recovery, I will be using it when these wrinkles are ironed out.
Again, many thanks, and if the confirm option for the backup is implemented as well, I would be over the moon.

did you backup to internal or external card?
and do you have any app moved to .android_secure? (move2sd)
I have just run backup to internal and restored it successfully. EDIT: no .android_secure backup
I will also try to backup to external sd

thanks for the good work. this kernel makes my i9100g realy faster and without any problems by now. still using it and will report any problem, but seem flawless.

[ROM] [AOKP] [4.1.1] [27th Sept] ~~JellyCore v4~~

Introducing JellyCore AOKP ROM for Galaxy Note GT-N7000
Version: v4
Features:
- Compiled from source (see below)
- GAPPS Included
- Flash Player 11 included
- Latest HydraCore STD kernel (v5.3)
- 240 DPI
- No theming / visual modifications
- Build.prop tweaks (CleaNote style!)
- Other system tweaks
- Latest ad-free hosts
- SuperSU and full ROOT
- Project LARD
This is an *almost* stock AOKP build, compiled for my very kindly by Antiochasylum (of Asylum ROMs) with his full support and authorisation. The only changes are the inclusion of GAPPS, Flash player and the removal of all the pink unicorn stuff
Compiled from AOKP source GIT with all commits included, as of: 27th Sept 2012
Installation
Please install from any SAFE kernel (HydraCore, NoteCore, Speedmod, Goku, CM9 , CM10) within CWM. A full wipe of /system, /data and /cache will likely be needed coming from any other ROM type, so backup your data first. Making a nandroid backup is recommended as well. The ROM is distributed in the normal CWM installable .zip format
During installation delete_recursive is used rather than the format command, the included kernel (HydraCore) has MMC_CAP_ERASE removed and is therefore completely safe.
DO NOT WIPE IN STOCK KERNEL RECOVERY.
Please post all kernel related bugs in the HydraCore kernel thread
Please post all Kernel discussion topics in the HydraCore Discussion thread (General section of Note forum)
Please only post ROM related questions in this ROM thread.
Failing to comply will result in your post being ignored, and / or being reported!
Download: > http://hecubus.com/xda/ROM/JellyCore/JellyCore_v4.zip
What is project LARD ?
Project LARD is my first implementation of newer, pure JellyBean samsung drivers for the following
- Mali GPU
- EGL drivers
- GLES drivers
They are simply kanged from the Note2 system dump with no other changes. They have been tested for a couple of days by various people and reports are...GOOD. Its not quite Butter, its LARD :good:
Changelog:
v4
- Updated AOKP
- Updated kernel
- Build.prop changes
v3 - unreleased
v2
- Updated AOKP
- HydraCore 4.3b STD
- LARD
v1_b3
- Updated kernel to HydraCore 4.1 standard
- Added Project LARD stage 1
v1_b2
- First public release

Where is s-memo?
Doesn't work without the touchwiz UI and CM, AOKP ROM don't use TW.
Besides there are better options.
Try these
Lecture Notes (Market)
Papyrus (Market)
GNote (XDA)
wat should i do after flashing missing external sd folder ? cant locate at all .... HELP
Did you possibly look in ExtSDcard folder, or /sdcard/sdcard01, or /mnt/sdcard01? Yep, it's in a different location on CM.
You can try using ICS SD Binder from the market to map back to the old location if needed.
My FM radio doesn't work?
Doesn't work in CM10, but Spirit FM in the market is reported to work. Really though, why not load up the SD card with music and avoid the adds?
I'm stuck in boot loops what do I do?
Did you follow the instructions in the OP..? Usually this happens when you have not wiped or coming from a ICS ROM or have a bad download (always check the MD5 before flashing)
If you can get into recovery and it's a safe version, try wiping and re-installing the ROM (follow the instructions)
If you can't get into CMW or still having problems a fool proof way is a completely clean install via PC Odin. This will wipe everything and put you back to a known good state.
BRICK... any sentence containing the word...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661590
Why does my battery go flat quickly?
Almost always an application is causing "wake locks" so it has nothing to do with the ROM. Use Better Battery Stats from the market to help identify the cause.
Which govenor do I use?
You are going to be just fine with the default settings, but if you feel the need read through the info on the follow link and give the different options a try.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1736168
Which modem do I use?
Depends on your region etc, this thread has lots of information. In short you can use any modem (GB, ICS or JB) so download, test etc
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1645202
My apps are force closing (FC)?
Typically caused by not wiping data... (did you wipe data..?)
You can go into the app manager and wipe for the individual application and see if that resolves the problem. Regardless.. 99% likely it's not a ROM problem.
My screen is to small..?
Increase font size under settings or change the resolution, some ROM's have that in settings.. others you need to manually change the build.pro either via something like root explorer or Rom Toolbox (from the market)
If using Root Explorer, going to /system (make sure you are in R/W mode), and open build.prop? Find the lCD density line and change the number to 320 for phone UI stock or 240
How do I get rid of the mouse cursor when I use the s-pen?

MTP is used by AOKP for data transfer, USB mass storage works fine from CWM. MTP working fine, been throroghly tested. But yes a full wipe recommended for first install

sweet work Gavin ,You're quickly becoming my favorite Dev
Btw ,I've been hearing about memory leaks ,does this ROM suffer from it? or is it a kernel thing related to CM10 kernel?
Great work, Anti and Gavin.
A small request or recommendation if I may: how about posting MD5 with releases?
Those who know their way around will wriggle out of a bad zip flash, but many a n00b won't, and you might find yourself swamped with complaints and requests for help.

At the moment all cm10 Roms will suffer from it to some extent. A reboob helps tho and hopefully cm will find the issue soon

[ROM][WIFI FIXED] HatyonRom V1.1 for Samsung Galaxy Y pro duos: GT-B5512

RATIONALE
I am new to android but not to linux as i have used ubuntu for three years now. the ability to customize ubuntu to my like has been the main reason i have stayed with that OS. so when i purchased my first 'smart' phone in late June, i set out to customize my phone. i discovered the power of custom roms but to my dismay and that of other galaxy y pro duos users, there were no custom roms available (Technoduos and ChobitDigitalis roms are no longer in active development) so i set out to build my own rom. many have asked me to share my work and that is what i am doing today. it may not be as flamboyant and well-adorned as chobitsDigitalis and Technoduos roms but at least it is more functional than the stock samsung rom.
ROM FEATURES:
Pre-rooted using Chainfire supersu method
Fully deodexed
Zipaligned
busybox
init.d scripts support
bash support
14 Lidroid status bar toggles
go Launcher (replaces touchwiz)
MIUI music player (replaces stock music player)
MIUI root file browser
Darktremor app to sd
international CSCs with multilingual support (B55120JVLD1)
sysrw/sysro support via terminal emulator
comes with android terminal emulator
operamini v7 in place of stock v5
build.prob tweaks - video and picture quality, battery tweak, network tweak
init.d scripts including journaling, autozipalign on reboot etc
added icon packs
modded status bar and notification area
[
compatible with Compact kernel by Nitubhaskar
COMPACT KERNEL:
Note the kernel is developed by xda senior member Nitubhaskar who has given me the permission to add his kernel to the rom
the thread for his kernel is here
the kernel is going through continuous development and only links to kernel versions fully tested by me and other GT-5512 users will be added to the downloads section of this thread
if you use this kernel, make sure to thank the Nitubhaskar (hit the thanks botton) on the original kernel thread
FEEDBACK
Lest i forget, i would appreciate it if after downloading this rom or the screenings, you took a little of your time to share your opinions about the rom with us all so that improvements could be made to the rom. in this regard, please post a reply telling me what changes you'd like to see in the rom.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
cooking of this rom was made possible as a result of the prior work of the following xda members:
Dsixda - for his android rom cooking kitchen
MIUI developers - for MIUI music player and root file browser
Chainfire - for supersu
jackpal - for android terminal
go developers team - for golaucher ex
opera browser developers for operamini
Millan.sis - for adding lidroid toggles to the systemUI.apk eventhough he was writing his examinations
Lavadepa and Hell_lock and Nitubhaskar were very helpful through their pm timely feedback and advice
Myafik and zykoBR for permanent and temp wifi fix
the many other galaxy y pro duo susers who asked for a custom rom
TESTERS
Thanks to xbox1900, carlovn, exelzor and jigsawyam1 for testing and reporting on this rom. Thanks to everyone else who tested and replied but has not been mentioned here.
Installation instructions
Disclaimer:
you are installing this rom at your own risk. I am not responsible if you soft or hard brick your phone. i make know warranties - expressed or implied, regarding the use and safety of this rom. you are strongly advised to make a nandroid backup of you current rom before proceeding to install this rom.
Latest Stable Release HatyonRom v1.1
Before proceeding to install either the Rom or Compact kernel, make a nandroid backup using clockworkmod from here . this CWM recovery is developed by Millan.SIS so thank him on that thread.
This particular clockworkmod recovery is recommended as it backs up your current kernel (looking for source of this info) as part of nandroid backup
INSTALLING THE ROM
it is recommended that you use clockworkmod recovery to flash this rom
Copy the Rom to the root of your sdcard
Boot into Recovery by pressing volume up, menu and power bottons, release as soon as galaxy y pro duos logo appears
choose install update and flash clockworkmod recovery
Wipe data/factory reset (a MUST)
wipe cache partition (obligatory)
select advance option and wipe dalvic cache (optional but recommended)
unmount and mount the /data and /system partitions (you may format data and system partitions especially if flashing over ChobitDigitalis Rom)
reboot the phone and enter clockworkmod recovery again - credit to exelzor for this step which fixes system partition problems some people may have. Please thank him
choose install zip from from sdcard
select choose zip file option
Select HatyonRomV1.zip and confirm the selection
flash the rom and reboot
Starting for first time will be slow so wait and don't force stop.
Additional instructions:
once installation is complete and you are on your homescreen, type supersu and select the supersu program
when prompted to update the su binary, select continue (no internet required)
start file explorer (not the samsung app called myfiles!!)
hit the menu botton and browse down then enable the root explorer option
give it permanet root permissions when prompted by supersu
press back key and swipe your screen until you get to the screen having 'BROWSE', 'SDCARD' and 'FTP' at the top
beneath 'FTP' is a straight up-pointing arrow, tap on it to get the 'JUMPT TO' menu
scroll down to 'DATA' partion and select it
then select the app directory (folder)
once in app directory you will find operamini and android terminal app
select an app and press enter to install it
if prompted, open settings >> applications and enable installing software from unknown sources
instead connect to android market and install latest operamini and terminal emulator of your choice
FIXING TWO OPERA MINIS ISSUE
if you noticed you have two opera minis installed, uninstall the older version ie com.samsung.operamini-5.1.24639.apk (or a similar name) using titanium backup or link2sd
also remove this file /system/csc/comm_app/Operamini-5.1.24639.apk using root explorer or on terminal
1. type su + enter
2) type 'rm /system/csc/comm_app/Operamini-5.1.24639.apk' and hit enter
INSTALLING VER 1.1
Dowloadad the hatyon rom v1.1 update from the link on download section
place the zip file on root of your sdcard and reboot into recovery
enter clockworkmod recovery and choose to install zip from sdcard
select hatyon1.1.zip and confirm it
once install is complete, reboot your phone.
note it may take a little longer to boot for the first time
the same procedure applies to the other zip files on the download section of this thread
Please read post number 3 (next post) for info on how to fix wifi issue
INSTALLING THE KERNEL
after flashing rom, i recommend you use the phone for at least a minute before flashing kernel
to install the kernel, i recommend you follow the kernel thread link in my first post on this thread.
i will only give the names of the latest stable kernel versions in the download corner of this thread and maybe provide direct download links to the stable kernel versions (if that is ok with Nitubhaskar)

FAQS
Q: is the rom safe?
A: i'd like to say so, but i can't. i have tested it more than 20 times without problems but there is always the chance your phone will get bricked.
Q: will you continue development of the rom?
A: well, rom cooking is a demanding and tedious hobby. if there are many users, i will gladly dedicate my spare time to improving it based on user feed back. else, any modifications will just be for myself.
Q: i don't like go launcher, can you give me Touchwiz launcher (samsung default)?
A: Yes, if at least three people request it
Q: Are there any other launchers apart from go laucher?
A: yes, touchwiz for instance. we also have hololaucher, MIHome launcher- from popular MIUI rom and adw laucher.
Q: can you change this or that for me?
A: well, every rom chef knows that rom cooking is time consuming and one cannot always respond to individual queries. if many as for the same feature, i'd be glad to work on it. i will look into individual requests on the basis of their potential to benefit many others.
well, it doesn't hurt to hit thanks, does it?.

sorry, i uploaded rom about 15hours ago. since the network is bad in my area, i opted to make sure the upload was successful before i post about my rom. i hadn't inserted the link earlier on but i edited the downloads section and inserted the link few minutes after posting.
Note: i experimented with kernels at the beginning of my cooking. i unpacked my stock kernel and rooted it using rom kitchen and added the boot.img to my rom. it worked alright but when you you restore clockworkmod nandroid backup this time, it will say restore is succesfful but you get boot loop which i believe are due to modified kernel since i could make as many CWM nandroid backup and restores as i wished.
with the modded kernel, only backups made after using the modded kernel worked.
if user response to the rom is positive, i will dedicate one of my reserved posts to your kernel. i will give a solution to how to overcome problem of not being able to restore old nandroid backups after flashing custom kernel. i will also describe how to add kernel to rom before flashing. so go on and develop your kernel. my screenshot will make it clear i am using your kernel!
the captain is friendly with us. it seems that he intentionally let them slipped. another mod mostly will move them directly on general section (lol)
anyway, since it against "the rule" IMO we should ask his opinion about it. personally I think these thread should be here but our captain might have different opinion about it. don't worry, our captain won't delete this thread or close it. you can peacefully discuss this matter with him and got the best resolution for all of us.

Just a word
I want to confirm to any B5512 user, arbayong rom + nitubhaskar kernel is the best available software update they can get.
Am using both now, and starting to love my phone (I think no one was happy with samsung soft!)
@ arbayong!
I prefer not to have flamboyant and well-adorned rom to account of stability and functionality!
Thanks to both members for making B5512 a value!
Hey guys,
We are trying to flash this ROM but isn't going so well.
We haven't tried flashing the kernel is this needed to make it boot?
After flashing it says flashing is succesfull but when booting it doesn 't go beyond the Samsung B5512 screen (not the boot animation)
Here is some info about the phone:
PDA:B5512XXLF1
PHONE:B5512XXLF1
CSC:B5512XXLF1
Kernel version 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#22
Hope you have some advice (we have followed the guide in the first posted thoroughly)
Thanks for making this great project happen (same gos for making the kernel, wich is allso a much appriciated. Especially the OC and governers and 4ext)

so if you have done according to instruction.. it should have worked.. so.. questions..
where did you get your cwm version? whats the file name of it?
you must do this..
Wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
if you did the dalvik cache clean.. try without doing it..
both data and system partition must be mounted.. just make sure of it in advanced mounting option.. it should show unmount /data unmount /system options..
then how much time did you wait after reboot.. its reecommended to wait atleast 10 mins.. to make sure you didnt abort the bootup process in a hurry..
and a tip: if it did got stuck.. you can use 3 combo buttons any time while using your device to get into recovery.. while booting or using phone or whenever stuck.. so no need to remove battery and all that.. just hold it until your device reboots and u see samsung logo then release..
for the kernel part.. it is not necessary to have that with this rom.. or any other rom in future for your device for that matter.. but.. by having that you can have more features that also goes with the rom.. you can test the new kernels i release in other thread.. but please read my posts before doing so.. because i want testers to have some knowledge of how to recover their device if it soft bricks.. usually it wont.. my odin related 3rd post or 4th one in my thread explains that..

[ROM][14-03-2014] AOSP KitKat 4.4.2 Mod for Nexus S - Final Build

Hi folks,
There seem already many AOSP builds for NS, but I'm just pleased to share my personal build with you. I took the Google source and CM kernel/vendor as a base and have done lots of optimization work. My changes for NS after forking CM vendor were listed in the changelog of the initial build. Devs can check out commits on my github. It may worth a note that it's AOSP so never request extra features. No doubt I will keep it as stock as possible.
Credits:
clearly go to CM Team and all worked for our NS

Download:
Final Build | MD5: 47af680bd273732d751de65656f62f7e
I don't hold the Nexus S any more, so if something in the final build does stupid for you, fall back to Build 6. And at last thank you again for your support.
Issues:
panorama preview. Check out CataHd's reply for the fix.
android-4.4.3-r1.1 build can be found in this reply. Panorama issue has been fixed.
You can find out all changes on my Github. Remember that AOSP ROM doesn't include Gapps, you have to install/flash it yourself.
Cheers,
Changelog:

I tried changing settings in Superuser, every option works like charm. I always chased the changes of Superuser by Koush and the hack in that Superuser zip was included in my ROM. Afaik the tweak is just to run '/system/bin/su --daemon' for the root requirement.
OK, anyone else got superuser issue? xD

sorry but is ok to flash the zip ? or I must try again without the zip ?

Very good job. So happy to see the deveopment for our old phone continues.
Now, I can confirm Superuser doesn't work. Flashing SuperSU from recovery fixed the issue pretty fast.
Other than that the ROM is very solid and smooth. I tested SMS, Location services, Wi-Fi, left phone without a charge for a night. No problems so far. Will test bluetooth streaming later today in my car.
I have the same issue with calendar like any other non google build has, I have two of them, one is AOSP build another is Google's from the play store. That doesn't bother me.
Also, I still want to know what kind of "optimization" was done. Also, can anyone test MTP for me? I turned it on using USB Switcher, but my computer didn't recognize the device.
Great job, I hope the project continues.
@leap_ahead, velishka:
Let's rule out some exceptions about Superuser issue. Did you do factory reset before flashing? I hope the old Superuser app didn't make noise. Although you guys have fixed it manually, I still hope someone can paste the output of command 'getprop persist.sys.root_access' and check if the /system/xbin/su is running when you can't get root permissions. Thank you.
Hey,
just had a closer look at your build and found the interesting property 'ro.sys.fw.bg_apps_limit' in your build.prop which is set to 8. Are you sure this works in your build ? (I only ask because this was seen only in CM until now)...

Used this baby for 3 days now and have to say that it has the best memory management for 'low-memory' devices i've seen until now. Whatever you did cn.fyodor, very good work. !
I've noticed that CM has already reverted the commit for property 'ro.sys.fw.bg_apps_limit'. You should take care that this is not reverted in your sources because IMHO this is one of the essential things which gives us this better memory management. The relevant part can be found in line 105 of https://github.com/Juansheng/androi...s/java/com/android/server/am/ProcessList.java in your github.

Thanks for your suggestion. Actually I once changed MAX_HIDDEN_APPS back the default value in Gingerbread for low memory devices nine months ago. Check this commit. ro.sys.fw.bg_apps_limit was just introduced by Codeaurora recently. And yeah CM have already reverted this prop and added a new prop for high memory (> 1.5GB) devices since more CM supported devices hold more memories nowadays. I'll ignore that commit.
Cheers,

This rules that this has been ported, as I use the PhilzTouch on my Galaxy Tab2. I even donated a few $$ to him!
One question, with the shared kernel "feature" of the T, how did you avoid having it revert back to stock CWMrecovery anytime one flashes a new ROM?
Regardless, I'll try this out tonight.
Hey i always wanted this to get ported! Im using the leaked 4.3 rom and it does work but it only boots into the recovery everytime. Is this a bug or is there a way to fix this?

It will be repacked into other kernels later...

So how do I go about installing this?
Is it as simple as boot the "T" into flashboot mode and running
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot philz_touch_6.09.3-mint.img
But I'd rather not blow away my phone if this is wrong.
Can I use this for the xperia V, too ?

Is there a trick to using PhilzTouch on the T to avoid the shared kernel?
I installed it via "flashboot boot philz.img" and at first glance, it seems to work the same as on my Galaxy Tab 2.
But then it turns out that its not really useable.
a) I was unable to boot back into my normal ROM. Rebooting always brought it back to PhilzTouch.
b) Even if I could have found a way to boot my phone, it turns out that PhilzTouch recovery was overwritten by the stock recovery as soon as I installed a newer CM nightly which I tend to do nightly.
hi all
can i use for TX ? do i need UL or not ? thanks
How to install this recovery?
fastboot flash boot boot.img gives me each time a reboot in recovery
fastboot flash recovery boot.img gives me an error.
Anyone got this working?

Would you please share how you did it? A how-to would be great including which ROM you came from and all the steps in clear chronological order.

You need Unlocked Boatloader at first!
1. install the 4.3 rom (any you like). Flashing the FTF with everything included
2. Flash this CWM recovery and install SU zip
3. flash FTF and exclude all except KERNEL.
Done! (limited time to write so made it short)

@steveboss is reporting an extremely sensitive touch interface, is there any way you can confirm it is working out of the ordinary?

Hello, I send you video tomorrow
@steveboss where's the video?
@Phil3759
I'm having trouble to get philz to recognize the internal sdcard partition (its a real partition, not part of userdata)... what ever I try, it just keeps failing...
Do you have a possibility to build philz based on the CM10.1 or the freexperia 'jellybean' repo for this device?
I'm starting to suspect the CM10.2 repo might contain some issues as it was put together with pure CM in mind, which might make it incompatible with the stock sony JB4.3 kernel...
The Xperia T made a jump from JB4.1.2 to JB4.3 in one step up, receiving it only a month or so ago, while the CM10.2 repo has been around for far longer...
The 'original' locked bootloader package has made the same jump up recently and CWM started causing problems for it's users too.

Look at the fireball device repo (fstab file) to use vold with real sdcard partition
Else use compatibility recoveryonly option in fstab with real blk device path
