go for slim ics or stock gb rom...

I've been using the CM10 Nightly builds. All the recent builds seem to be pretty solid and it is also quite fast.

yes but jelly bean drains lots of battery when using 3g

im on slimbean 3.0 jb with sempahore and cant say i notice any significant battery drain... no issues, unless i overclock, then i get some reboots in the odd application

I've tried them both and even though Slim has some nice features I'd go with cm9 nightlies because it's an easier to use software straight out of the box in my opinion. And right now they're updating them every couple days that I found stability to be fantastic already, not to mention the great battery life.
Yeah i thing slim 3.3 is goox too but there to many ICS roms.

On my personal experience, where in i have used Teamhacksung, CM9, Onecosmics and now iam on Elite ICS 10.1.
The best is Elite "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575683"
with Midnight Hugemem kernel (BM Kernel MNICS-143LR),
which is provided with the rom in the "Actualizador" app the ROM provides,
plus flash this script "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24723427&postcount=513" for getting the 720p recording to work.
Trust me, really good combination of ROM and Kernel, Very smooth and stable.
And About Slim, it lacks many things, which if u used any other ICS rom yu would know, and CM( is very unstable as for now, but sometime later is gonna be the best one for sure.
Try AOKP official. It's nice.

Yes aokp official best one.

ICS 4.0.4
After 5-6 trys of ICS Roms I found the best one for me.
It is "ICS EXTRAordinary 9/4/2012"

Which one do you guys like better? CM9 or ICS333? It's hard to tell the differences....
I think that many things still don't work with CM9, at least that's how much i understood from its thread

Hi. I try a lot of different i9000 ICS roms. Now I'm using Elite RC 1.2. The rom is simply amazing. It's stable, smooth and rich of feature. Has some little bug, but it's a great work. I used OneCosmic, TeamHacksung, AOKP, Dark Night,... and the Elite version has something more. I haven't already try CM9.

Thank you so much, but it turned out that it's a GT-I9003, I was researching before getting the device and the shop told me it's Galaxy S, so i assumed it's I9000, but with I9003 I'm facing a much bigger problem now, it turned out that Samsung removed the Download/Recovery modes' 3 button combos, and I think that i have no other way around this but to get a USB Jig which we don't have in my country, so no idea what to do
Thanks for the help though.
I definitely prefer ICS333 of the two. Minimalistic, and amazingly fast.

Yes ICS333 is very smooth stable with good battery life. Infinitum by bhu1 is another stable ROM but 333 is better as you have camera to sd card option.

Cassie's xtralite room. Most stable, most speed, less bugs, best deep sleep despite being a gb rom.
after flashing many original development roms, I'm back to xtralite rom and I'm not planning to flash another for quite awhile.
it's not the latest and greatest but hey, you asked. Peace out.
Alliance Rom! You just need to go into Android Develeopement thread and see which is the most popular one
I was on Alliance ICS Final for a long time and this is the most stable and absoultely smoothest rom , but it is ICS, you may try if you like...
Now I am switched to Alliance XXLSC, requires the installation of some fix over the Rom customizer, but worth the effort. I just installed 240dpi mod and a few others with nova launcher and it is amazing... contains everything you requested in your first post
EDIT: you know that the stock ICS kernel is not safe for wiping? be sure that first thing you need to do is flash a safe kernel if you are on ICS (from stock recovery it is best to flash PhilZ kernel first, then you can continue to rock )
the best is Stock official rom preinstalled on your NOTE.

oh...if this rom is what you want, you should buy a Note 2 instead of flashing a jellybean daily driver for Note 1. I'll be flashing a multiview rom soon but I don't expect to be on it for very long.
stability is what I want too.

[Q] What Fully Stable and working Rom to install?

My friend is on stock GB from 3 years (I9000). Now, he asked my help to install a new rom. I have an Xperia, so i don't know I9000 roms, but i can manage to install one.
The problem is that he doesn't want to experiment, he wants a fully stable rom which will use for ever.
Is Jelly Bean still not totally stable?
Can you guys advice me a rom?
Thanks

Wow, in these days i read some threads and this rom was the one that convinced me more
I read that v7 was even better than v9. Did you try both them?

C-Rom Mix
I was about to recommend the same rom. I was on ics and looking to check out JB and tried several different roms, each with its own issues, all but C-Rom Mix V9. I can't speak for V7 but V9 has truly been stable and lag free with great battery life. I'm pretty fussy when looking for a daily driver for my phone if that means anything.

[Q] Best Android Version

Hello,
Can someone advice me which Android version is the best for Galaxy S III I9305 at this time?
Thanks
Don't know which is the best, they are all more or less same, some more bloated, some less, and all are based on 2, 3, 4 bases.
If you like TouchWiz, don't need root, than leave it, and apply updates as they come from Samsung.
Basically, there are stock based ROMs, and AOSP, and CM based. If you want to stay on stock base (don't have time to experiment, test etc. Want to have stable basic apps like camera, or drivers for sound and video. But you want root and easy possibility to tweak things.) you could try ripper ROM, and Boeffla or Perseus kernels.
If you like CM, 10.2 nightlies are already enough stable IMO. That is what I am using atm, and I'm satisfied. Only thing I had to change is to switch to SuperSU for root, what's pretty easy. Just install the app from the market, and update su via TWRP/ClockworkMod option.
Main reason I switched to SuperSU is because eXperience pro, and skvalex's CallRecorder didn't work well with CM's super user from Koush.
