Nexus 4 Stock Kernel[JOP40D] - Nexus 4 General

I wasn't going to upload this because I don't have the device and figured someone else would, but because I keep getting PMs about it I decided to pull it from the factory images on Google.
Thanks to neectron for making it into a flashable zip for us.
As always, if anything goes wrong I'm not responsible.
Make a full backup first (just to be safe)
1. Download Flashable Stock Kernel
2. Boot into recovery
3. Flash the kernel
4. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
5. Reboot

^This.
I can't make it as a flashable zip because I'm only on my phone. It's just so those who don't want to download the whole factory image can just get it through this.

Can someone test this flashable zip? Not sure if it'll work so do a backup first to be safe.

Flash it but my phone was stuck at the boot logo. Also running cold fusion ROM.
Sent from my Mako Nexus quattro using Tapatalk 2

cold fusion is CM based, that's probably why its not booting. I was on cold fusion and flashed matrix stock based by accident and same thing happened

CM has a modified ram disk, any kernel that flashes a boot.img at this point will probably bork things. If you want to flash a kernel on a CM or CM based ROM make sure it's an "any kernel" format.

then you obviously flashed the correct version of matrix (CM version). the non CM version won't boot on CF

I may be wrong but there's only one version of the matrix kernel ( different release 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0)

Flashed successfully... However, it is not sized properly for our phones. Some text is cut off at bottom. When there is alot of on-screen text, it looks quite ugly.

I once asked kasper_h for that, you need to recompile the kernel with changed values to 0 mA.
But I couldn't try it since my HD has not enough space.

A custom kernel for cm10 4.1.2 would be great.
Sent from my OptimusBlack using xda app-developers app
A echo command shouls be enough. Maybe someone with ICS can check, which file is being changed, when you switch leds from on to always off. It should be one value going from 1 to 0 or vice versa. Just check it out, try the same on cm10, since it uses the same drivers and enjoy. I cant test it, cause I dont have time and I am not using ICS.

Revolt rom

Browsing through GOOmanager and seen a new role for our phones with two nightlies called Revolt of anyone wants to check it out it don't say anything about it though I'm assuming it's AOSP based FYI

I contacted JohnHany' before I even bought the phone. I run ReVolt on my N7. I flashed the first release, but the data wasn't working. I have downloaded the latest, will flash today. ReVolt is one bad $$ ROM. When it is up and fully working ( if it's not already ) IMO, it sets a high standard

Booted fine when flashing another kernel for me. 6/14. Had screen color issues. Some apps colors were all f'd up. Some green fragments on the top of the screen. Kinda hard to explain but I could not stay on it.

Power off and then power on and see if the keyboard posted up. If you have a custom recovery you can try to ADB sideload a Gapps zip in TWRP and that should bring up a keyboard for you.

Oh it's stock. Well I would try a warranty from Amazon. Otherwise you'll need a fastboot cord and factory images.
