Nexus 7 or Xoom 2 ME... ?

Hello peoples,
I am confused between these two tablets xoom 2 ME and new nexus 7. what would be the good buy.. i don't see samsung galaxy tab2 has good specs compare to these two??

If you have any rooting desires stay very far away from any Xoom other than the wingray. (Original wifi version)

Agree if you want to do custom roms and get updates to os right away stay very clear of any Motorola product.

i am pretty sure that nexus 7 is good but i am looking for 10.1" tablet... only.. !!

Did you forget your original question in your first post was if you should get the nexus 7?

as i am not sure about xoom 2 due to locked bootloader... i am looking for other options... if that was illegal to ask, isn't this discussion forum ??

It was just a very odd response when you're in the nexus 7 section but are saying you only want a 10.1

You started a thread in the Nexus 7 forum asking about the Nexus 7, an 8" tablet, and a 10" tablet. Then you stated you're only interested in 10" tablets. ...You're very confused, and in the wrong forum.

Yeah, that was a bit silly lol. If you want a 10.1" tab, try not to compare one with a 7" tab.
The Nexus 7 rocks btw.

Nexus 7 sightings in the wild

Saw a cute girl on the train today reading a book on her N7. Didn't feel creepy enough to ask about the GPS debacle or what model it was.

Nope. Then again i'm in canada but using the subway daily in Downtown Toronto on my commute to work but still i'm the only N7 user from the looks of it.

Haha too many apple users on the subway usually. I once saw a girl using her ipad to read while listening to music on her ipod touch while replying to a msg on her iphone. Had to try not to laugh.

My favourite riders are the ones with a Blackberry and an iPod. I always try not to cringe...

Yeah, at my University you will see people texting and listening to music on their iPhone, playing a game on their iPad, and browsing the internet(or whatever you do on those things) on their MacBook.

I have it out and on all day at work since I bought it at sam's on 7/14. Everyone keeps asking me if its the 'mini-ipad' they keep hearing about. People are dumb. Oh and I work in a hospital so you should already know its an apple fanboi community.

Havent seen anyone in the south FL area yet with an N7.... a lot of apple fanboys tho

I got the only one pre-ordered in my area. I took it on vacation to Vegas and didn't see one there at all. I did see a ton of people holding up their iPads to take pictures, looking like complete asshats.

Whoes waiting for Nexus 7 ROM from Peter Alfonso???

Cause I am. Man, this little piece of tech punches a big hardware punch! Yet, there is no build out there that express the Nexus 7 quality wise, but Peter Alfonso! So, have you seen any news regarding a Nexus 7 build???

Fresh out of the box

Just got it today after returning my TF700. Have to say, pretty nice, besides the undetection unless using MTP protocol.

If connecting to the pc is your problem, it is almost certainly an issue of drivers on the windows side.

@Groid yeah I didn't know the issue. Tried multiple driver sources to no avail until reading someone's luck with MTP and voila! Like a charm. Strange, indeed.
